Such a beautiful venue and fun place! Wine is terrific. Hosted a company event at the vineyard and everyone had a wonderful time. Excellent team at the winery and delicious pizzas; they really took care of us. Can't wait to return! :)

A unique drive to this location and beautiful bucolic setting upon arrival. Lively crowd with music on a late Sunday afternoon, and pizza as well if you get an order in on time. The wine tasting was great, and service (minus a mishap in my mind) was wonderful. I even purchased a couple of bottles and 2 Castelli (love the symbol) wine glasses. The only reason I am giving this review 4 stars instead of 5 is because the lady that was assisting us grabbed our tasting glasses with her hands on the entire top of the rims. After dealing with various credit cards (or possibly cash) by customers, various glasses, and whatever else is touched in between tastings, it just didn't sit right with me in regards to cleanliness. Other than that, highly recommended.

Castelli Winery has a wonderful, relaxing atmosphere. The staff is friendly and ready to attend to your every need - even taking a photo of your group. The wines are amazing!! The prices are good and they have different food options depending on when you go. You are also welcome to bring your own snacks or meals. I highly recommend this beautiful place.

Most friendliest family vineyard in Ramona California! Wines are very great and the catered Pizza is amazing. Property is beautiful! Must visit when your in South California

Truly a quaint winery with incredible views to boast. The owners and staff truly take the time to treat every patron like family. I’m beyond overjoyed to find this winery. This place will become a staple in our lives. Oh, I almost forgot to mention the wine! If possible, I’d add another star just for the amazing wines and impressive selection.

This place is the perfect setting for an event or afternoon tasting. We hosted a party with 180 guests comfortably this month and it exceeded our expectations. They offer a variety of delicious wines and it is obvious a lot of heart goes into what they produce. The pizzas they made were great (our guests were even able to make special requests and no one left hungry). The setting is truly unmatched. From the massive doors that lead you into the tasting room to the string lights that illuminate the patio and the bocce ball court that overlooks the vineyards- we loved our night here!

Enter a private neighborhood you're not welcome in. Go to a winery that operates in violation of the San Diego County boutique winery ordinance. Get drunk on overpriced swill, to the relaxing drone of dirtbikes, punctuated by the exciting pops of gunfire. Perhaps book the property for an event, where you can enjoy the reverberations of a sound system turned up loud enough to cause hearing damage, as well as guest appearances by the San Diego Sheriff's Department. If you have any complaints, the owner himself, Mike Castelli, may threaten you with violence. Truly, an experience.

Best Pinot in the SC AVA! Nice grounds, super friendly staff. If you're in SD and want to visit a local winery, then Castelli is a must see.
