Annapurna is a beloved staple in this poor grad student’s heart. Would highly recommend the chicken dishes (momo, sekuwa, choila) - all beyond words. Super affordable mom-n-pop type of joint. Be patient and thou shall be rewarded.

Annapurna is my favorite Nepalese / Indian restaurant in the area. Compared to many other places, they are quite reasonable. More importantly, their food is second to none as is their service which is warm and welcoming. Sinita and Prakash have a wonderful business. For food, I recommend their Nepalese dishes that are more difficult to find elsewhere. These include mouthwatering momos, chicken choila, chicken sekuwa, and tama aloo. Their veg korma and baignan bharta are also favorites of mine. Their homemade chutney and achar are unique and incredibly flavorful, pairing well with the momos and other dishes. Well worth any wait. They have happily accommodated the dietary restrictions of friends (no cilantro for some, no butter on naan, extra spicy on curries etc.). These really means a lot! Sometimes their shop gets busy so I recommend calling ahead if you have a larger order, given that this is a small family place (the best kind of places)! Especially if you want to order a thali for dinner, you will need to call ahead. Finally for dessert, their chai and gulab jamun are also always hits. I come regularly and their food and service are as consistent as the y are delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant - it's the kind of place I bring people from out of town to visit.

The people running this place are amazing at making delicious foods everything was very flavourful, rich, and had so many layers of tastes. The naan tasted amazingly fresh, and the samosas were wonderful. We also got a paneer makhani and a mushroom mutter, the entrees were well portioned and delicious as well. It came with rice, too. A true gem. We ate in at night, and it looks like they have a counter for pickup and delivery so I hope they stay there for a long time. Next time I will try the momo; they were recommended by the owner. They have high standards for their food and it shows.

We’ve been coming to Annapurna for several years. The food is exceptional…especially their steamed Momo. Honestly - I haven’t eaten anything I didn’t like. You will not be disappointed. Kudos to Prakash & Sunita for creating a wonderful dining experience!

Home style food. The momos are must try. The tea is amazing. Staff is super friendly and provides good service.

Second visit Aug 2022, food quality has gone down. Chicken Biriyani was terrible. Noodle dish was spaghetti in indo-chinese style sauce. They don't seem to be well setup for dine-in. Many of the items are struck off from the menu. Not coming back. ‐------------------------------------------------------ Good customer service. The chicken choila had way too much onions and was very sparing with the chicken. The goat biriyani was pretty good. Will order again. Portion sizes are appropriate for the price.

This is one of the best Nepali restaurants in NJ. Best fresh and delicious food. Try chicken momo for sure in addition to other yummy menus. Owner is very friendly and will make you feel like home. Must try this restaurant

Service deserves a zero star. Quantity of food is very less. Only good thing is momo. Chicken curry has very very less chicken pieces which is not sufficient for one adult. You have to keep on waiting and ordering more plates to make you full.

Ordered some food for take out when restaurant opened. Owner had the audacity to give rotten food TWICE! Never ever going there again. Disgusting food. Consider one star = Zero because not allowed to post without clicking on stars.

Omg this place is so hospitable and Sunita and her husband are the most sweetest. The food is really authentic and just like a home cooked meal. The Nepali thali is to die for - a pleasant tasty surprise in Hillsborough!

This place has one of the best Indian napalese food in the whole jersey. The hosts Sunita and Prakash are the epitome of hospitality. I 😘 ve going to this place. We crash here at least 3-4 times a month.

I'm sure for those that like super hot food this is good, but it's waaay too spicy for mere mortals to eat. But the problem is, I specifically asked for very mild but it's a 4-5 alarm fire. When I asked they first tried to say they didn't put much spice, and then the only way to get money back is to take the unused food back. (Not even pictures are acceptable) it's not worth the drive, and it's not worth the order.

Yes, Yes and hands down yes. Great food, exemplary service and reasonable price. Sunita “the momo queen” went above and beyond to service us. She made sure that we were satisfied.. We visit again and highly recommend.

Loved the authenticity of the place. We ordered momos and chow mein and loved both. Looking forward to eat daal bhaat which is available only for lunchtime

A great father's day lunch with an awesome veg thali and momos. The thali was served on brass utensils and brought back childhood memories. The owner was very kind and friendly and even brought us some mooli achar, something brilliant. Will be back for some more.
