We definitely needed this around here. Very authentic feeling and taste. I ordered this picalonga platter for a friends get together and it was a hit. If you ever have to bring a dish somewhere get this. It’s very quick, convenient and inexpensive. The prices here are very reasonable. You will be more than satisfied.

This is, hands down, the best Dominican food ever. Great Variety of items, service is amazing, can’t wait to go back. The Dominican Chimi, el sancocho, the pinchos and la bandeja picalonga with a country club soda are a great choice. My favorites!

This place is incredible, best dominican food in the area. Is in a coner inside the Haines city fleemarket but everyone must visit if you are craving Dominican chimi and yaroa.

Great service and excellent food. I had sancocho and Carne frita con tostones, all delicious. El Morir soñando drink is made special with carnation and the prices are pretty reasonable. Can't wait to go back for chimis. Great dominican home made food.

Excellent! I ordered a picalonga platter using DoorDash yesterday. It was absolutely delicious. Best Dominican food I’ve had. The owner’s son recommended this platter and said it will be enough for 6 people. However, 8 people ate from it just fine. The quality and quantity deserve 5 stars. When I called prior to ordering, they were friendly, they took the time to answer all of my questions. They also sent multiple sauces to compliment the platter, which I appreciate greatly. I recommend Sal y Pimienta! It’s like having a small piece of the DR here in Polk County!

Went there Friday and I told the guy I was on a ketogenic diet and he hooked me up, he was so cool and we talked and complimented me on my weight loss success. The food was AMAZING. Que puedo decir? El chimi estaba delicioso! I also bought sancocho home and was fabuloso. The ambience, owners were also the best. Recomiendo que lo visiten. It would be great if you guys had a location in Orlando but I'm still willing to travel for great food!

it was about to storm definitely got a bit late for me . Yet , I was so hungry got in my car and followed the road with my gps .Must say that I enjoyed my meal. Plenty of tasteful food and hot . Thank you very much .
