It’s a really big station, and has 4 different lines that stop here. As long as you follow the signs, you won’t get lost. Just keep in mind the red line has 2 platforms but the blue, orange and silver lines share the lower platform. There are LED signs for every line showing the waiting times for the next few trains. This station has several exits on different streets.

This is a very big transit hub, where four different subway line intersect. Use this station if you plan to change between the red line and the blue, orange or silver. Changing the lines it is very simple as there are two stations overlap, one served by the red line and another served by the other lines mentioned above. At times both can get really busy if you can avoid it during rush hour, because even if the trains come one after another it can get dangerously busy.

It's perhaps the cleanest and most efficient station I've been to (compared to NYC and BART, at least.) It's a little tricky to navigate, but the metro personnel are quite helpful. All in all, a great way to get around the city. I would definitely recommend.

A cavern with trains. A miracle or curse depending on the day. A convergence of sound, sights and smells. It’s just a station where metro trains from all color lines intersect then disappear into the night. People come here and go. For this purpose it is well suited.

Great Metro hub where 4 lines connect. This station is kept mostly clean but not 100% spotless. This is a good station for transferring to different Metro lines and to be honest its not that loud. For anyone who needs to know, the red orange blue and silver lines stop here. Overall pretty nice station and customer service is not too bad.

A big station with 4 lines running. We rode the subway on a thur in July & it wasn't that crowed. The paying gate is down on the 2nd floor, the red line is on the 3rd floor and the rest of the lines on the last floor. You can buy Smart cards on the 2nd floor because you will need them to pay. The 3rd floor big have 2 ways to go down on the last floor which is smaller. It can be confusing so look at their map

Great Transit Center and great staff. The staff were helpful and directed me to which subway platform I needed to go to. My transfer from the red line to the silver line was quick and easy. It was not too crowded and the subway was on time so I had plenty of time to make my connection.

Its getting a little old! But, it is still a marvel of ingenuity, engineering, hardwork and financial genius. Clean and timely and wonderful.

The station was fine. The service is fluent. The wagons are not as clean as they used to be.

Metro Center is a busy transfer station for the system. Be on your best behavior here as you transfer to another train. Stand to the right on the escalator so others can walk up. Let others off the train first before boarding.

Clean and terrific station. Terrific station to transfer to the Blue, Orange and silver. Pass/gone through this station numerous times.

The Metro Center is one of the bigger stations, with four lines all intersecting there. It pays to be clear which train direction you are going to catch so you wind up on the correct side of the track when you come up from the lower level to the upper level to catch the red line. You can easily cross over, but if your train is pulling out when you are on the wrong side, it's vexing. Metro is a great public transportation system.

😐 Beautiful building, great architecture, lots of stores and businesses. Walgreens in the basement has great DC tourist gift items on the cheap. However it was impossible to just find a place to sit. At 5:00 am ~ there was literally no where. Also a lot of mentally disturbed people at this location. T...
