Sherri is fabulous! Before we even tried a bite of her mouth-watering homemade baking we instantly fell in love with her as a person. We knew she would create exactly what we were looking for. I wish I could describe in words how good her cake was. We chose a 3-tier cake with 1 almond tier, 1 strawberry tier, and 1 dark chocolate tier. Our guests have never seen a cake with the "naked" appearance and were marveled just looking at it. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed the flavors (especially the almond). IT WAS PERFECTION! I have to also add the lemon poppyseed Groom's cake was delicious as well. (German influenced cake)

On the day of the wedding, She went above and beyond our expectations by personally delivering the two-tier masterpiece to our venue in Portland. Her punctuality and attention to detail were commendable, as the cake arrived in flawless condition, untouched by the challenges of transportation. SW Cakes made this recreation of the top layer of my sister's wedding cake for her 50th anniversary and it was quite a hit. The cake was tender and flavorful and the peanut butter, chocolate, and vanilla buttercream icings were all delicious. The buttercream isn't sickly sweet and it's 'light as a feather'--at least on the palate. Many thanks and rest assured I'll order any special cakes I may need in the future from SW Cakes. Thanks again for helping to make the small celebration another event to remember.

Had our wedding cake and cupcakes done by Sherri and they turned out amazing, especially the lemon poppyseed cakes. My husband was thrilled we had extra left over so he could keep snacking on them!

Very pretty cake done very last minute when my original baker fell through. Pricing was a bit more expensive compared to others in the area, but not outrageous especially for a wedding cake. Staff that came helped with decorating the cake with fresh flowers and problem solved when the flowers reserved for the cake were forgot at home. If it wasn't for the quick thinking we would have had such a plain cake but luckily for us it all came together for a beautiful look. Cake itself was just not good if I'm being honest. It was dense and really dry and I would not order from here again for vegan cake. I heard really good reviews for their other cakes though so I just think the vegan cake is not their strong point. If you're looking for vegan cake I would look elsewhere, but would absolutely give them a shot for anything else!

After speaking with several bakeries I decided to go with SW Cakes to make my sons first birthday monster smash cake and couldn’t be happier with my decision. Sherri was so nice and did such an amazing job at such a reasonable price. The cake was perfection, exactly how I wanted it and tasted delicious. It was a huge hit at the party and most importantly my son loved it as well. Thank you so so much! I will definitely be a returning customer and highly recommend SW Cakes!

Sherri did a fantastic job with our wedding cake/cupcakes! We got so many compliments on them and she was so easy to work with! We loved doing the tasting with her and created beautiful cupcakes for our wedding! We were so happy to have her be a part of our special day! :)

Sherri is absolutely amazing!!! Fun and quirky personality put my fiancé and I right at home as we did our cake tasting. It was hard to choose a cake flavor because they were all soooooo good!! On our wedding day, she delivered the cake very professionally and set it and cupcakes up. We enthusiastically recommend SW Cakes to everyone!!!

I can not rave enough about SW Cakes. I got exactly what I asked for regarding design. But the best part was the quality. I’ve never enjoyed a cake as much as I did. It was perfect icing and confetti cake. It wasn’t too sweet it was honestly perfect! I can not rave enough about my birthday cake! I will order from here again! Hands down recommended!
