These people Never answer the phone. My worker Erica Perez is very very unprofessional!!! She’s never in the office nor does she call you back or even email you back about your concerns 😤🤬 they deserve a -0 , they are supposed to care but they don’t! They can at least act like they care . The only person that is helpful is the lady (Amber)at the front desk ! She way more helpful and actually try to find someone to help me. Hopefully they never have to be in these situations. They need to fire everybody and start over . I’ve asked for a new caseworker four times & still nothing!

Arianna Gonzales is very unprofessional and a liar. She gave me the run around about my case and had me resubmit paperwork that I had already previously sent her multiple times. When I questioned her on why she LOST my paperwork or why she didn’t have my forms anymore she gave me sorry excuses. She had no answers and became very defensive. At this point workers need to take accountability for their actions. I’m not unreasonable and I try to be understanding, especially because I understand there is a shortage of workers. Had she carried herself professionally and been upfront with me about my case, my landlord and I wouldn’t have been so upset. Overall I think the workers here should understand that things could go smoother if they are honest and don’t give people the run around. At the end of the day these are real peoples lives that we trust you to help us. I think this job should be taken serious and handled with a little more compassion.

They need higher payment standards. Since covid rent, is sky rocketing! It's hard finding a place within the payment standard limits. And those with housing assistance shouldn't have to meet the 3x's the rent amount or more because if we could afford that, we wouldn't need the help.. It's like setting us up to fail.

Greetings hope everyone reading this is doing good. Also hopefully you all are house some place safe if you want housing San Joaquin Housing Authorities should do better by everyone at times you can’t get your phone call answer in a timely manner I would give the Worker I had 0 she didn’t help at all did nothing until I contacted someone else in the same office after not answering my call for months. I will not mention her name Respectfully on my part I know she didn’t respond to me very kind nice young lady who need to learn how to take care of Not just Seniors but everyone with respect in a timely manner. Some retired Seniors are lonely homeless because of miscommunication we have work hard making it to 70 it’s a Blessing to be Living I Thank God daily that how I roll giving Thanks Being approached by others Seniors saying they have no where to go I used to move a few in with me but I have had a bad experience in Stockton I really feel bad I can’t help them with housing but our governor Gavin Newsome can. Mayor Of Stockton will too also Mayor of Sacramento & Dr Ami Beri will also make good great President Of United States 🇺🇸 I will continue working with Seniors we are not for gotten there’s help don’t give up!! Stand Up Speak Up & Win Be safe wear mask it’s better than nothing at all Peace & Blessings

Office staff is rude. Case workers don’t respond to emails or voicemails (they never answer calls). They don’t communicate any changes. This office is run so terribly!

I have been going back and forth with Winnie from housing authority since July 2022, I was finally approved October 18, 2022 to be told I will be put on a mini waiting list when a unit becomes available. My application was prolonged and I was giving the run around regarding my eligibility and certification intake. I have filed a complaint with the supervisor and the supervisors supervisor. As soon as I hear and resolve my issue with the supervisors, I will update my review.

It’s nice to see they moved the housing authority to an appropriate building and location. The old small facility near downtown was in a horrible neighborhood. Waitlists for disabled adults without kids take close to ten years! Able-bodied adults with children also wait many years. Payment standards are finally set by zip code, but still lag by several hundred dollars for Lodi, Manteca, and Tracy. They keep you trapped in the worst sections of Stockton.

HACS Stockton doors are open to the public and the drop box is in side to. But don't you think that you can still get them by phone ( NO).

The Hispanic girl in the reception area was horrible. To get any information on how the housing authority for San Joaquin county works was like pulling teeth. I have listed properties in other counties never a problem. What ever personal issues she have with non Hispanic persons, she needs to keep that out of the workplace. I was there trying to take care of my business. I know the intake form I filled no response iprobablunded

Housing authorities give you rules and after a while they send 3 day notices to almost all disabled veterans to comply or get out, I did everything according to the rules by hanging bamboo shades as requested, now we all have to take them down, we serve our country with honor and pride and don't ask for much, next step is going to a couple friends that are very high in the political ring that are investigating. 2 senator's are involved as well as a couple County supervisors, we are human not trash as they said.

I was selected for intake process 2021 still haven’t heard from case worker E.Perez she completely lost my paper work . Always requesting forms I’ve previously submitted blaming ME for the long wait when I’ve done everything she’s asked every time. Stockton should fire and rehire this is SAD playing with people’s livelihoods … just sad .
