This local hidden gem of a restaurant is one of our favorites. Love the cozy ambiance, and appreciate the welcoming host to the server. Food is always made fresh and is very delicious.

Well to come here you definitely need reservations. I ordered the Pork Panang Curry, it was served over white rice. The curry wasn't too strong but added great flavor to the dish. It wasn't too spicy but had a very minuscule kick. The desserts were amazing to look at. A whole variety of French cakes. I ordered a coconut cream white cake. It was a unique textured cake with sweet but not heavy icing. Perfect amount of coconut shavings pressed against the icing. I devoured the cake so quickly I could not get an image.

My wife thoroughly enjoyed an anniversary dinner here at the Cafe. We were seated at a corner table which served as a nice private alcove, and were enjoy created wonderfully quiet dinner together, which was only made that much better by the wonderful customer service, and the delicious entrees and desserts which where delicious. Definitely a restaurant we totally recommend. And, especially for special occasions.

Quaint, quiet and cute! What a lovely place! The food was fresh, piping hot and delicious! Celebrated a birthday! Ordered 3 desserts to go! They were out of this world! The waitress brought a slice of cake and included a candle for the birthday girl to blow out with the check! All in all. Great food. Great atmosphere. Great staff. Even greater desserts ❤️

We have been eating here for over 40 years. We recently celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary by ordering a take home feast, as dictated by COVID-19! What a delightful, memorable meal we had! Consistently first rate.

The Cafe always provides great food and a great atmosphere, perfect for a date night or family gathering. They offer a unique combination of thai and American food that fits many taste preferences. They also have an amazing dessert case. Everything is made fresh and they are very capable of accomidating allergies.

The food is absolutely delicious and presented beautifully. My favorite is the pad Thai. The homemade desserts are so good it's difficult what to select. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Since the cafe is in an former home (mansion), it has a very warm and cozy feel regardless of the room you are seated in. The only reason that I didn't give 5 stars is because it could use a little more TLC to return it to the pristine original condition. But regardless, it's still beautiful.

Phenomenal food - the Filet with red Thai sauce was beautifully done! Amazing crab and avocado salad and the raspberry Sacher-Torte was amazing!

I liked this place! 221 is housed in a Victorian home and the decor is eclectic and interesting. I peered into the dessert case and was very tempted. There were lots of vegetarian options and our meals were quite tasty. I want to go back!

This was a very special day for my husband and I. The old Victorian home was very intimate and comfortable. The hostess was polite and helpful. Even though the menu was limited it was prepared individually and very delicious. We were happy we could take our own bottle of wine which I wish more smaller restaurants would do. It’s by reservation only. Our impression was that the owner who is the only chef wants to keep it secluded and special as they head towards retirement. All pastries were homemade and delicious. We hope to visit again soon. Parking is metered.

This restaurant is a hidden treasure. The food is excellent every time. The ambience makes you feel at home. If you happen to be there a night when Pete Smyser is playing. You are in for a treat!

We've never dined, and listened, anywhere like it. Intimate, cozy, attentive (but not overly) service, Thai dishes done just right. And to be ten feet away from and guitar/vocal duo, at a conversational volume. A wonderful evening.

Put it on your list. Very romantic and cozy but byob. I love the Thai Basil Shrimp and Chicken Satay.
