I used to love this store. But a couple years ago it went downhill fast. I don't know if they changed managers, but the store is run horribly. It's hard to navigate because there's stock sitting around the store. The last handful of times I went, I couldn't even access what I came there to buy because it was blocked. I'd ask for the stock to be moved and no one would. So I left and bought my product somewhere else. The cashier's are no longer friendly & welcoming, they all seem like they're so annoyed that anyone came to their register. I'd rather drive up to Mt Airy to go to their hobby lobby than deal with the one in Winston.

I went in today with my toddler to look for decorative pillow covers. My daughter was in her stroller and I was bent down looking at all of the different covers and checking the measurements. I was holding a few of them up side-by-side to see how they would look on my couch. About a minute in, I felt someone staring at me. I turned around and an elderly employee was watching me. I figured she was just stocking the end cap or waiting to stock something and I was in her way. Until about 30 seconds after I looked at her she said: “PLEASE don’t do that!!!” I turned to look at her and said “Excuse me?” Because I wasn’t doing anything besides holding the pillow covers and looking at them. There was no reason for her to be watching me. She said “I said, please don’t do that.” I asked her “Don’t do what?” She said “Don’t open the pillow covers!” I said “I literally haven’t tried to open them nor am I going to.” She said “Well it looked like you were, and it’s hard for me to put it back together because the sticky part won’t close after it’s been opened. It’s a lot of work.” I just looked at her and said “I’m not going to open them.” She continued to watch me until I left the aisle. She’s lucky that I had my child with me and I was having a good day, or she would’ve gotten an earful and so would the manager. NO employee should be harassing customers like this. I’m a full grown adult who had her kid with her, trying to shop for pillow covers in peace. I certainly didn’t have an old lady chastising me like I’m an insolent child on my bingo card today, but alas… To the managers of this Hobby Lobby, maybe ask corporate to change the packaging of your pillow covers so your WELL past retirement-age employees have an easier time closing them back. It’s not my fault that she hates doing her job. I won’t be back.

My first time visiting here. Went to get art supplies, they have everything an artist need. Whatever kind of craft you do, they have it. Most of the supplies are 40 to 50% off. I've never seen so many artificial flowers, they look so real. Great place to shop. The staff was very friendly and courteous.

Great place for hobbies and crafts! Look for orange stickers - these are marked down 75%. Also, they have half off sales. There is a good selection of products. They also have telescopes and microscopes in stock.

I think most people who have never been to a Hobby Lobby, have a completely incorrect understanding as to what it is. After my first visit a couple of years ago, I was just blown away. What I discovered was that it is so diverse in so many different things. I made my apartment into a home. Every section has excellent quality products. If you need it...they got it.

Love Hobby Lobby staff is always friendly and helpful store is always clean and organized and oh my gosh they have so much if you plan to go look and I mean not buy just look do not go inside cause you will walk our with 1 or more bags. Miss AC Moor but love hobby lobby and so does my husband especially at Christmas time.

The staff here are really friendly and everything is well organized. The prices and quality are hard to beat. I do wish there were some seats around inside because it's such a massive store.

Hobby Lobby is always a pleasure to go to. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The store is clean and well laid out. Even when there are lots of customers in the store, there's plenty of room to get around. With my budding sewing interest, I'm glad to see the variety of sewing items. It's a great one-stop shop.

I love their yarns! It takes a bit of time to receive them when I have to order them, but they are worth it. I can always be assured that I can find another skein of the needed color, even if I have to wait a few days for it. It seems they always keep things stocked well. Thank you!

This is the best Hobby Lobby around. I have been to the one in Greensboro and High Point and this is the one to go too. The store is huge, fully stocked absolutely clean and meticulously kept. The employees are so nice and helpful. I bought $600 worth of shirts and the cashier Beverly was outstanding. She was friendly and kind and smiling the whole time and it was time for her to go home. Not one time did she complain. I will always shop this Hobby Lobby in Winston Salem, NC.

It was a wonderful shopping experience in which we saved 60-70% on Christmas items. The lines were a bit long, but the savings were worth the wait With savings like these, it truly is the season to be jolly. Peace on earth and good will to all men . . . Hobby lobby is great! Have been going there for few years! I have found most of everything I was looking for! The have wide selection of things for home decor to wool to toys. It is similar to Michael but Hobby Lobby has more stuff and at time for better price !

The selection of fabric was neatly labeled and stocked. The store was very busy since it is around the holidays and everyone was professional and friendly. One fabric we wanted didn't have enough in stock but we could have managed to get one of the lengths we needed if it wasn't cut wrong. I feel if you work in the fabric department you should know how to cut it.

This store is dangerous haha! Terrific sales, helpful employees & cashiers and literally something for everyone down every aisle. It's almost overwhelming how many items they have managed to display in one large building! This is a fun store for crafting supplies or decor for your home, and it's a terrific place to find a fun and unique gift for that special someone.

Great selection of things! Cashiers were fast and helpful. They had some good deals going on and the temperature of the store was perfect for a rainy day!

What's not to love , about hobby lobby. Most adorable home decor, from super nice professional to super beginner art supplies. Very pretty fabric. Helpful staff. Bad parts. shopping... Close super super early and not open on Sunday's. Long check out lines. Can be sorta crowded.

Well stocked with helpful associates. Most of fall items were 66% off. Bathroom was clean and well stocked.
