Received a bill from them late January 2022 for an emergency room visit for my father from September of 2021. While they billed Medicare, they failed to bill his supplemental insurance. I called & spoke to a Natalie. She told me that they were missing a number on the account & she would resubmit it for payment. The process would take 45-60 days. Great! I called back mid-March to confirm they billed the insurance. Nope. Turns out they were still missing a number on his supplemental insurance account. She tells me that they will rebill the insurance company & to check back in 45 days. So about a week later I get a letter from a collections agency. No warning, no notice. So, here we are at 30 days after the 2nd phone call & they still haven't managed to bill the supplemental insurance. I ended up paying the bill & submitting a claim through the insurance company myself.

I received a bill today for upwards of 2,000. A FINAL notice, I never received a previous notice or call! So I go to their payment website, they never even had my insurance information. I added it and I get the notification "It will take one billing cycle to reflect the correct information", yet my bill goes to collections in less than 14 days? Great.

I have healthcare insurance and my insurance company was dubbed by these doctors after I left the emergency room. After 6 months of trying to bill this mystery doctor I WAS put in COLLECTIONS! I have perfect credit. The collections company will not take me out because they are saying my insurance company did not pay the payment due! I have all information to bill was paid. They are trying to keep illegally collect more money by keeping me in collections. Watch out! Thieves!

Been dealing with them over a year regarding a worker's comp claim. They refuse to send the bill on the proper form to worker's comp so THEY can actually get paid. They claim they have faxed and mailed the form which was never received. I even gave them my fax to see if something would be sent to me, and nope! Nothing. Now I am at risk of going to collections because they refuse to send the bill! Get it together. Don't you want to get paid???!

Just like EVERYBODY else who has posted here. I am getting harassed by a law firm debt collector whoever about a bill that I never ever received FOUR YEARS after my visit. One visit back in 2019 and I’m JUST NOW in 2023 HEARING about this????? And when I called the hospital, they said they didn’t have any recollection of it. This is THE MOST frustrating thing to deal with.

Same as every other review. No calls, no bills, just popped up on my credit report as a collection. Disputed it as fraud and they claim it's legit. Never even heard of this company before.

Like all the others, over 65 reviews, there was never a bill from Emergency Physicians of Central Florida. Only a letter from a collection agency. This has to be a huge scam.

I received a call today from a debt collector regarding a bill from 2020 that I never received because they had the wrong address! I have insurance but this was a portion that was not covered. How can you have the wrong address for something like this!! First knowledge I had that a bill was outstanding. Just wrong and unbelievable

I received medical services in October 2020 from this medical provider. I am now receiving calls from a debt collector (in September 2022) about the 2020 services. The provider failed to bill my health insurance, never contacted me, and sold the debt to a collection agency in 3/2021. I am finding out now in late 2022. I contacted the vendor’s billing department today and they cannot find any records of my 10/2020 services in their billing system. Yet, they sent something to debt collection.

Read all the other reviews. My case is the exact same. No call no bill just all the sudden a collection on my perfect credit. The date the account was opened doesn’t even make sense I also have health insurance this makes absolutely zeros sense. This company will be sued sooner or later for this fraudulent scam they are running. Will definitely be speaking with my lawyer regarding this

A bill from 2019 billed to a BCBS. God only knows who it belongs to. Billed was denied bc it was not my insurance at time of visit a card was given for billing. I was sent to collections and here we are 2022 timely filing and sitting in a law office. Incompetent! Insurance was never validated and collection did not cross T's or I's! $882.00 they will never see if they don't get it right. Supervisor tried to blame me. It went through 3 departments did no one see you were billing the wrong insurance!! Zero for you!

Highway robbery. On top of an outrageous ER visit fee, emergency physicians charged me a $1100 fee for 10 second comment as I was leaving ER. We waited 2 hours after X-ray and finally was leaving and doc ran over to us on our way out just so they could charge me a doc ER visit. Our healthcare system is true fraud

Did not bill health insurance then turned over to collections—I tell collection repeatedly that it needs billed to insurance, now it’s beyond the claim allowed date.

My 26 year old grandson was sent to the ER after he went to an urgent care with a severe migraine. He was billed by Orlando Health which we took care of but a few months later he got a huge bill from Emergency Physicians. I had a similar case. Why are they separate? Why not just one bill? We’ve been sending $50-$100 per month but just received a “final notice “ for the balance due. So frustrating. If they won’t accept a payment plan I’m not sure how we can pay in full other than on a credit card

After a Car accident I was taken to the Hospital. They put me on collections knowing there was a law suit. It was paid a long time ago by my attorneys office and having paperwork and all showing it was paid for they won’t get up their behinds to call the collection agency and take it off of my credit score. They are still insisting after three disputes that the account is still open. I guess they don’t want to check the files cause it is probably a few steps away from them therefore it’s easier to say it on the phone and damage the reputation of a person. When they get slow and people start to get laid off then they are going to wonder we’re are the patients. Very disappointed with you guys.

Well lets start I caught Covid and the Insurance denied the claim, because they needed more info EPCF refused to send it in, I even went to the Hospital so that they could fax the the paperwork, but not provide the info that they are requesting or requested, because of the lack of Info Ins refused to pay for Covid -19 now its in collections

The same as the other opinions... my son received a bill where they charge $1,488.00... the worst thing is, he was never there. Only at Orlando Health Hospital. Emergency room. And the segri paid for it. On this invoice it says that the insurance did not pay. When he has, yes he has. If it had been there the insurance would have paid. THIS IS FRAUD!!!!! DAMING PEOPLE'S CREDITS.
