We really liked it here. Sometimes I get bored of the usual scene and or drink and this is what I needed. They have elevated fun takes on classic drinks. Overall this place has a vast menu with a good variety. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and fun. I would not only return, I'd recommend it. I felt like I stepped into the past in this place which goes nicely with the vibe of Old San Juan. We had 2 different drinks. A rum old fashioned and a kind of deconstructed mojito that I can't remember the name of.... but as always I'm adding pictures!

Stopped into Antiguo based on some high ratings and it did not disappoint. This ended up being the highlight of our trip as the best bar we visited. The cocktails, bartenders, and food all hit five stars. We’re from North Carolina and have some bars in Raleigh and Durham which have amazing craft cocktails. These bartenders compete as some of the best we’ve found. This place will most surely become one of the top places in San Juan to visit. Everyone needs to stop here at least once.

What an incredible experience! Cocktails and “a show”! The entire staff was super friendly and attentive. Atmosphere gives total island -vacation-vibes. The drinks were exceptional, the food was delicious and well seasoned. Watching the bartenders create those cocktails was so much fun! If you are a foodie- and enjoy an eccentric cocktail with a bougie flare… this is your spot! Gian was our favorite bartender! Very charismatic. Jesus has a lot of knowledge! They were both great ! Andrés was our waiter and he was phenomenal! Cannot wait to return to this spot on my next visit to Old San Juan. A +plus experience!

Antigua 26 is an absolute don't miss when in San Juan. The cocktails, food and service come from a place of true passion. The food is fantastic and it is the best craft cocktail bar on the island and that is saying alot!!

Easily the best cocktail bar in Viejo San Juan, the cocktails are in their own class of elevated drinks. From the plantain infused butters to the hibiscus flower oleo Antiguo goes above and beyond traditional bartending to make drinks with an incredibly unique flavor profile. Over the course of a few weeks I tried all of the cocktails on the menu at the time and I can say there was not a bad one on there. Even spirits I typically don’t enjoy were blended so expertly that I still loved each cocktail. My personal favorites were the piquiña and the piragua. For those who enjoy a little kick I would definitely recommend the arbusto, the serrano pepper pairs really well with the bite of the bourbon. On top of the cocktails, the food is also delicious. If you go and you don’t try the passion fruit (parcha) crème brûlée then you genuinely made a mistake. Lastly the staff are super friendly and really knowledgeable about the cocktails and process which makes the whole experience that much better. Special shout-out to Jesus and Yancy who spent entirely too much of their precious time talking with me about the different things they were making, but once you try the drinks you will understand why you gotta ask how they made it.

One of the best bar I have been. Historical Sodas bar comes up alive as one of the beat bars I have ever visited. Great selection of crafted cocktails with the selection of crafted sodas made in house. No reservation, worth waiting!

Absolutely one of the best bars I’ve been to. This place is an experience, the mixologists are warm and engaging and the drinks, oh my gosh the drinks. It is as much fun drinking them as it is watching them being made. Highly recommend, a must stop if you’re in Old San Juan and feeling thirsty. My personal opinion, small groups are best here and leave the kids at home.

If you’re in Old San Juan and you don’t visit Antiguo 26, you’re missing out! The process of the cocktails being made is like watching a theatrical performance and the flavors of the cocktails are beyond incredible. The cocktails are not priced higher than most other bars in the area, so you’re getting a great deal because the drinks are SO well-crafted!

This place is a gem ! The cocktails were amazing , the AC was the best ;) & given that I’m past the spring breaker vibes rampant in old San Juan bars this was a great! The prices are higher than 5$ pitchers of mojito but they use the finest ingredients /its fun to watch the bar work their magic. I would have given 5 stars if they had veggie options ! We ordered plantain chips (fresh and yummy) but would have loved rice/beans/ soups...anything to stay a little longer.

One of the best bar I’ve been in 10 days in San Juan. Drinks were amazing. The appetizer was amazing and our bartender was excellent! I don’t remember the bartenders name, but it was a woman and she had a piercing in her Chan! Great experience

I absolutamente loved this place. Phenomenal cocktails, great service, and tasty food. Get the Arbusto (spicy and sweet) and the Monchito 2020 ( the most perfect cocktail I’ve ever had- an homage to puerto rico and Ramón "Monchito" Marrero who created the piña colada).

Seriously good cocktails and food. Like top notch. But, just be patient… 10/10

Stumbled upon this just because most restaurants were closed because of covid curfew, And we are so glad we did, By far the best cocktail bar in Old San Juan, its Family run, has a history associated to it, and the team is upto the mark. The service is exquisite. The most amazing cocktails you can have we ordered 4 different drinks, every drink was top notch, based on this i can say just order any drink you would love it. The food is delicious. The attention to detail is superb. Thankyou and goodluck to Team Antigua 26. Super happy with the experience. I probably have given very few 5star reviews, but this place deserved it.. Hats off...

Second time coming for drinks and it is one of the best! Very savory and authentic. The ambience is enjoyable and staff are 110% attentive, well-mannered, and genuine.

Favorite VSJ bar! Great atmosphere and upscale cocktails. Barista is very knowledgeable and creates an amazing experience. The food menu is limited but all the options are thoughtful and tasteful. Also important to note a very clean and well kept bar.

Would highly recommend Antiguo 26!! The atmosphere is amazing-chill and chic decor, the cocktails are inventive and delicious and the food was great. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable not only about their own cocktail and food programs but about San Juan and the local restaurant and bar scenes. Make it a “must stop” when you visit Old San Juan!

We went here for a private event, so can’t really comment on the vibe or service on a regular night. That being said, I really enjoyed my cocktail and would get it again! My boyfriend was a bit more adventurous with his selection and would probably try something different if he returned.

Cocktails where good, nice atmosphere and decor.. Really nice concept!!!! BUT, bartenders were not friendly AT ALL.. no one said Hi when we came into the bar, literally no one talked to us to took our drinks order until we decided to talk To them and order. We were asking about some cocktails and the bartenders didn’t explained a friendly way… When u go to COCKTAIL BARS, you expect bartenders to be friendly and cool, these guys didn’t have it at all.
