These guys did an awesome job teaching myself and my wife to stand up paddle board. The location is easy to get to on the lake, the instructor was knowledgeable and did a great job working with all skill levels. Went out and bought a board pretty much right after this. Highly recommended.

The lady that helped us was really great! We arrived very late after getting lost a couple of times (go to Soda Lake Beach!!) and she helped us adjust our time so we could enjoy the lake for the full 2 hours. We got to paddle on a beautiful day and it was well worth it!!

Hours of service are incorrect. They close at 5p during the week. We arrived at 430 and we were willing to be out on the lake for just 30 minutes but they didn’t allow us to. The lady was not at all apologetic or empathetic. Don’t make the drive there are plenty more places with better customer service.

Amazing paddle board rental service. Perfect for visitors. Lake is calm, with a great view of Red Rocks. They have everything you need! Highly recommend. Staff is attentive and had a lot of great tips. Brenden and Grant were so helpful!

We had an amazing time! The Rocky Mountain paddleboard company runs a great operation. Two in our group used a paddleboard, and two of us rented tandem kayak. The staff was friendly and helpful, and a bunch of people brought Bert doggos. I don’t know water with them. Incredible and relaxing experience. Great for couples and families.

You'll never believe what happened. I spoke with Gunner. It's been near 100° in Denver and the Denver metro area for several days. I booked a paddle board a few weeks ago, only to arrive at the day of my rental for the Full Moon Paddle Board Experience, and it is maybe 55° currently! With no questions asked they gave me a full refund. I'll be a loyal customer to them forever!

People are very kind and help you get you set up pretty quick. For first time kayakers they give you little tips like “if you wanna move right paddle left and vice versa.

Had a great day at Rocky Mountain Paddleboard, may look crowded but easy to navigate once you’re in the lake. Recommend the pedal boat out to the sand bar for ambitious groups! Took the full hour to get there and back. Thanks to Luke and Brandon for the recommendations!

Peddle boat was fun for a group of four on one boat, but the peddles were a lot more work to move than other boats I’ve been in. A duck followed us across the lake and back…it was cute until it got a little too close for comfort. Brandon and Luke were kind and helpful in getting us set up

Wonderful customer service! On a holiday weekend, we emailed that we were arriving late, and they responded very quickly and were very accommodating! Love that they are dog friendly, and have dog life vests! 100% recommend!

Staff is always friendly, kind, and professional. I have only rented their kayaks; they are in good condition. Such a relaxing way to enjoy the water and the surrounding views! It would be so awesome if they offered a package/discount/pass for frequent renters. (The reservoir fee + 2 hr rental price = $50 a visit. I would go way more often if it was a bit more affordable)

Can't say enough good things about Rocky Mountain Paddleboard in Lakewood! I bring my young nephews (5 + 7) to rent kayaks + paddleboards to instill respect for CO's outdoors they can carry through life. The staff is always professional, but also friendly + encouraging enough to help overcome kids' initial fears. We look forward to RMP's opening day!

This was my first time paddle boarding. The staff was really helpful and informative. I didn’t fall in once and will definitely be doing it more.

Everything was great until we returned early. We asked if they ever did any kind of refund on early returns. She immediately became defensive and did not assist in pulling the boat in or helping hold it steady while we got out. We would've had no issue with being told they don't do refunds but she didn't have to be rude about it.

Rented a paddle board and 2 person kayak on Saturday 5/30 for couple hrs. We had a blast! Staff was super chill and was taking extra steps to make sure everyone felt safe during this covid stuff. When you pull into Bear Creek Park take the first right and follow road past 2-3 parking lots. You'll see RMP building on the right. Bring cash to tip the employees

I rented a SUP for 1 hour today. I informed the sweet lady at the check in that I was planning to take my kids out with me. She gave me a wider, more stable board and a kid's life jacket. Since I have done this before I didn't need any instruction. She did offer though and also adjusted my intake to my height. Off I went and we had a great time! My 7 year old even did some of her own paddling! We will definitely be back next summer! Thank you!

I’ve rented quite a bit from Rocky Mountain for the last couple of years. The staff is usually pretty friendly and helpful and have been great during Covid. After a few times of renting this year, I quickly noticed how much I was spending on 2 hour rentals. $40 for 2 hours was a bit much, when I realized I could rent elsewhere for $54 for 24 hours AND I could go paddle wherever I wanted. I wish Rocky Mountain had more flexibility and had more options available. If they offered longer rentals, and rentals you could take elsewhere, I’d definitely support them more. Otherwise, they’re great for what they are. But if you want a better price rental, for longer periods of time, rent Elsewhere and bring it to the lake.
