Friendly staff, workers are good, but unfortunately trying to build to many Pools at the same time. Deposit given June of 21. Simple pool, no spa, with larger than normal concrete patio. Retired home builder so I understand ordering and scheduling. It's been 3 months since start (early February 22) and still looking at Shell with no patio. Concrete availability has been difficult for some time now and should have been ordered long before needed. Now told patio is another month away. Planning and scheduling department could use help. Not saying they are the problem. As a past owner of a company the Captain is responsible, not the crew. Updates to follow as slow progress is made.

We interviewed five pool companies and considered reviews and pricing. We decided to choose Apex out of Stuart. Considering the price, I expected better. This was not our first rodeo with pool construction as it was our third inground pool. The pool took longer than the construction of our new home. Don't get me wrong, I love the pool. Because of the pandemic, there were many employee challenges which caused a dominoes effect. Our pool has been used daily since the middle of May and we still have the Apex sign in front of the house waiting for final approval. WARNING: Read your contract carefully with whomever you choose. Of course you will but make sure you understand EVERYTHING. I emailed several management people including the owner towards the end of construction with questions and not one of them responded! When I called billing after receiving the final payment statement, the response was that the contract stated that once the interior wall was done, final payment was due so it didn't matter if there were any questions on how to heat the hot tub vs the whole pool, salt water generator or if tiles were sinking, etc.

Apex Pavers & Pools build my pool and I had a wonderful experience with them. I wanted to wait until I have had my pool for a while before writing my assessment of their work and I am very pleased with my experience with them. They kept me informed from start to finish of the build and now that the pool has been in for over 2 years, I can say that they did a wonderful job. After my pavers were buckling a month ago they sent out someone to fix every spot that had problems. They are the best and I can say that based on my experience with them. I will do it all over again and recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

We have now used Apex for 3 different projects - a pool deck, a screened porch floor and most recently, a replacement front walkway. There are several reasons we have chosen them repeatedly. First, the company owner comes out for the estimate. Ryan is prompt, friendly and very knowledgeable. He offers great suggestions for making projects better, with zero sales pressure. Second, the workers are skilled, caring and hard-working. They take pride in the quality of their work, and go out of their way to ensure you are satisfied. They have asked my opinion when decisions had to be made, and cleaned up conscientiously when finished. Finally, the office staff that handles paperwork, scheduling, payments, etc., are across the board friendly and efficient. They help to make it a pleasure to do business with Apex. After extensive research, Apex Pavers & Pools was the company we were going with. We met with Brian Briggs, signed a contract, met with Matt Durate, who supervised the dig and construction of the pool. Lori Moxley held my hand with the extensive paper work with our HOA, she was truly experienced with this matter. Julie Scalise was the person I dealt with during the build and what can I say, she knows what she’s doing! If I had an issue, I would email julie and get a quick response. My experience with Apex was truly a great one. Once the pool was constructed, I had a wonderful experience with Margaret, who was responsible with teaching me the ins and outs of how everything worked, she was extremely patient and went over everything a few times with me. About a month passed when I noticed a few pavers sinking, so I emailed Julie, she responded quickly and sent over Tony who took care of resetting the few pavers and did a professional job, and cleaned up afterwards. Am I happy with my pool….Hell yeah!

After serious research with a total of 3 pool construction companies, we signed our contract with Apex Pavers & Pools in December 2019. DESPITE Covid shutting down the world in the exact week as our pool construction started, Apex workers diligently and expertly performed their work on our large 14k gallon pool project and it was completed within seven weeks, including the screened enclosure from Pioneer Screens...!!! At that time, the workers were very grateful to be working and were very friendly and excellent to work with. Fast forward, 2.5 years, and we can say we remain very happy customers with all small issues (sunk pavers, fairly normal) getting addressed in a very timely fashion, managed by Julie who is such a valuable contact at Apex! Denise and Roddy deserve equal mention, as well as the many workers who showed up and performed / continue to perform in a manner truly hard to find these days. Thank you!!!
