Very nice and clean airport. Not very busy (although I came here on a Sunday and much of Northern Michigan shuts down Sundays) Friendly staff and convenient check in. Has a Northern lodge type atmosphere. A pleasure to fly in and out.

As local airports go, ours is pretty good. It is quaint and clean, the interior is sufficiently Up-Northy, complete with fireplace. They're quick with the baggage and the security line is almost never bad. Of course, you can buy food and drinks there, but wouldn't you rather just light a $20 bill on fire? The two best things about the airport: 1) The airport is on Fly Don't Drive and 2) There are custom tiles ringing the bathrooms that have a map of the entire Traverse City area on them.

Delightful regional airport. The Envoy / American Airlines staff were awesome. Enjoyed the cafe and the Prairie style architecture. The gate area is nicely furnished with comfortable places to work and there is good free wifi. I only wish there were easier connections between here and Mackinac or Beaver Islands!

It’s a small airport that has outgrown their ability to handle the increasing visitors in the summer. They don’t let anyone know that arriving two hours before to check their bags is a requirement. The lady at American Airlines was extremely rude and was yelling at everyone for not being two hours early. For a small airport with 6 gates, I generally wouldn’t arrive two hours early just to check my bags and sit for the next two hours. Generally clean and kept up well. They closed the Men’s bathroom for cleaning while there were a ton of flights waiting to board, and they only have one bathroom. There might have been a better time for that. Another “better time” would have been testing the overhead speakers which seemed to be broken. They did this a couple times and it came out extremely loud and garbled. They did not keep anyone updates on our gate or update the sign behind the gate to let us know that things were going on. Overall, a clean airport, but needs better direction and it needs an expansion.

Beautiful, clean and well maintained airport. It would be easy to forget you are at an airport here with all the design and holiday decorations here in December.

Love this airport! Quick access to rental car return and quick transit through security. Much better than huge airports where you have to take a shuttle and stand in a huge security line then walk 2000 feet to get to your destination! Only problem is if you arrive late after 10 pm there is no public transportation and rental car companies are closed.

TVC Cherry Capital Airport is a wonderful airport. Expansion will be needed in the not too distant future but it is perfectly sized right now. TVC has easy access, easy parking, and courteous staff, making this a hassle-free place! The only challenges are usually weather related as the geography of the region brings frequent lake effect snow in the winter months.

DO NOT fly into this airport! Use Chicago or anywhere else close by and drive in. We’ve experienced complete negligence as 95% of our entire flight had to reschedule their days often staying over night in stuck other cities. We had a 7am flight with a plane that needed a simple oil top off. Whoever schedules staff did not have a single mechanic on duty and they had to call and wake someone up and wait two hours for them to arrive. By then almost everyone missed their connections. Aside from the complete fail of not having a mechanic present at the airport (baffling!) whoever left the plane the night before did not make anyone aware they would face problems the next day. Negligence all around! The ticketing staff was wonderful, patient and made the best of the unacceptable situation. Thank you! One last thing, the cafe microwaves the food you pay for still in the plastic so it’s toxic to eat! You cannot heat plastic…it activates and leaches dangerous chemicals into your food.

So easy to maneuver around, inside & out. Clean facilities, very helpful staff. I’d fly here all the time if I could.

All the employees are great! There are plenty of food options even though it's limited. I wish they had a bit more seating for waiting or some desks so you could work on your laptop. I'd you live in the area it's really convenient location to fly out and in to. Long-term parking is very affordable and can be cheaper than getting a cab (there and back).

Nice airport, made for future expansion. Wish they had observation platform for families to watch flights leave/arrive. Security has been updated for faster checks and less delays.

Really nice, small airport. Very clean and almost leisurely feeling. TSA was closed when I arrived mid-afternoon, but had a sign saying they would be back at 2. They are tied in well with the airlines and I enjoyed just hanging out in the airport

If you have a flight in the winter and are leaving this airport make sure you have a long connection at your next stop. They are consistently late on morning winter flights. Easily delays of over and hour.

We love this airport. Easy in and easy out. Car rental is so convenient. And it’s such a beautiful airport. I love all the cherrywood furnishings and decor. They kept it true to it’s Cherry capital location!
