At first glance, this place was not too bad. Right down the road and the workers were decently friendly. After time went on, however, it became apparent that no real structure was in place. I'm not sure if this is due to a high turn-over rate, or inadequate training. Multiple times, things would be forgotten from our order, I've actually witnessed a higher up scream at the pizza making crew (this higher up is still working there), and within few weeks, even the happier workers seemed to have lost their drive. Looks good at first, but don't waste your money.

My family enjoyed going to this location until the owner mistakenly thought bringing politics into his business was a smart idea. (it was not a smart idea). I've been a past business owner and this is a quick way to ruin a business. My family will no longer give someone with your views that are unAmerican and near delusional our money. I'm just being open about it here, but lots of customers will go away and not say a word. Please rethink your outlook on the world. Until such a miracle happens, my family will just go elsewhere. I'm sure the owner will weenie and whine about this being "politically motivated" but only a fool believes women should not have a right to their own bodies. It also takes absolutely forever to get a coffee (15 min) because online orders come before the people waiting in person and if there are a lot of online orders before you, well it takes forever. So I have a real life, genuine beef with the slow coffee service (and why we stopped getting coffee after the first three chances). Awaiting the usual testy, hyper vigilant response incoming....

I was from out of town. My navigation was directed to take me to Moomers Ice-cream. I had asked the salesperson if I was at the right place? She had answer yes. The ice cream was in the rear of the store. I got a pint of Moomers German Chocolate, it was just okay. The problem was that the actual establishment was right across the street. She could of told me that. I guess she was trying to steal Moomers Ice-cream business! Note, the owner's response was very mean spirited!

I had to get out of there before I spent all of my money!! I ran in for one quick item and spent about 30 minutes looking around and bought some really amazing deli food. Staff was incredibly friendly, definitely recommend.

I have loved this place forever & since it has become Fresh Coast Market is has only improved. I love the food. The sandwiches are some of the best in town. The most high quality meat. They have improved and grown their menus so much. They sell local everything from ice cream, to wine, to sweatshirts. I love it! They have coffee, pizza, breakfast, grocery, spirits, deli, cookies - you name it! Good service and they are always busy but do so well with it. The staff are always friendly. The pizza menu is the most creative I’ve ever seen. Fresh Coast is my go to!

Wide variety of items. Boarshead deli products (the best), great selection of breads, veggies, flowers (beautiful), great smiling staff, no trip into town (mayhem)! Now, they are not a cheap date. But, previous paragraph says it all for me.

The quality of ingredients they put in their food products is first rate. They have a wide variety of local made products that are attractively stocked and carefully curated. I have been there multiple times and have never had a bad experience. Probably my favorite aspect of this business is how well they treat their people. I know several of the employees and they say the culture of this place is amazing. They are fairly paid and treated kindly. An excellent place to get your food & drinks!

If you're looking for a unique and delicious dining experience, this is the place. Grab your mini menu and build the perfect sandwich, pizza or just about anything else and relax.

Fun little coffee shop in the area. There is a nice coffee bar with good options, and a case with a lot of sweets options. You can get sandwiches and things here, too, which looked good. It's a cute market with a lot of options for coffee and food / snacks. Worth the stop if you're in the area.

EDIT: Unfortunately this edit has to be made…we just received a phone call at 8:30 pm at night. My husband answered the call from the owner who proceeded to argue and say that they have the best service in traverse city and that we should have told them orders were wrong before writing a review (which we did and have). He was extremely aggressive and made excuses, blaming us for the error. He aggressively asked well what would you do to make this right to which my husband answered maybe have a order double check in place (which us not our job as a customer to come up with a solution) and to not call your customers and attack them at 8:30 at night. So incredibly unprofessional and unkind. All that would have need to been said was man we are so sorry we got it wrong. I just wanted to call and address it right away. Can I get your pizza made for you for tomorrow night on us? Or a simple response to this review ‘sorry we got it wrong, we’d love another chance to make it right’ would have been much more appropriate. [Original Review] I was trying to give some grace before reviewing, as I know it is tough to find help right now. When the new pizza menu came out years ago, we ordered right away and it was AMAZING. Unfortunately for at least the last six to nine months we have been really disappointed with every single carry out order. Everytime there is something majorly wrong with our order. Sandwiches with the total wrong ingredients, salads missing half the toppings, and pizzas made incorrectly. Tonight’s order is what pushed me over the edge to write a review. We ordered via the app and my husband went to pick up at our scheduled time. Upon arrival they said they gave out pizza to someone else and it was too late for them to make another. The ovens were already off. (Our scheduled time through the app was 7:50). Nothing was done to try to right the issue other just refunding us. Of course it is now too late to order from anywhere else as well. I’m really bummed because when the pizzas first came out they were spectacular. With higher prices, I should be at minimum be able to get what I ordered. We won’t be back.

We had custom sandwiches and those were so good. Plus they have a huge choice of cheeses, meats and other groceries. I highly recommend this store.

We live very close to Fresh Coast and it's been our "to-go" place. I work from home a couple days a week and every day I'm home, I would get a breakfast sandwich or lunch from there. (Excellent sandwiches). There has been a decline though. We got soups to go one day. I pulled the minestrone from the bag and thought I got the wrong order. When I opened the lid, it was clear instead of a beef broth base. Not only was it clear, but it only had celery and onions, so it was hot water with some veggies. Also, since our last trip there, soups are now $10 a bowl! I compared their prices on some things with other stores and everything is double. $6 for a box of crackers. I know prices have gone up everywhere, but FC has gotten out of hand. Everyone also told us to stay away because of the owners attitude and politics. The employee's there are wonderful however, I have seen the owner be rude to his employees and even had an attitude with me one time. We don't care about others political opinions, but I have seen him boast on FB that he's never once worn a mask (even though he has) and tries to push his beliefs on others. Don't mix your politics with your business, it's like saying you don't care about half your customers. He's responses are also very unprofessional. Go to Francisco's instead!

Right around the corner this store has always been super convenient. Since it has changed over from fieldstone to fresh-coast we were pleasantly surprised as they brought in some items that make us visit way more then anyone really should shop out. Great (tractor brand) tea’s, the amazing cookies we always knew from fieldstone and the dessert counter are what get us the most. Great stop for lunch as well but busy! Order ahead on the app to make sure you don’t have to wait too long for your meal.

We stop here several times a week. Coffee is fantastic, we love they they carry local produce & a TON of local products. Sandwiches are always good & they use fresh ingredients. They carry a wide variety of products, so they always seem to have what we need. The staff is remarkably kind, compassionate, and delightful! I highly recommend a visit.

Absolutely AMAZING experience we had at Fresh Coast Market! Great coffee and drinks, fantastic food and a wide variety of baked goods we enjoyed. Friendly staff that was helpful as it was our first time visiting. The owner truly cares for those who work there and we appreciate the values that they hold on to. Will definitely be back!

Staff were rude when we told them they got our order wrong. I guess I’m sorry we inconvenienced you with you own mistake? Also this is the second time I’ve brought home a sandwich I couldn’t eat from here very disappointed. edit: How these reviews are being responded to only negatively reflects the owner. This place is a joke.
