My friends and I discovered this store by pure accident around April of this year and let me tell you, this is one of the best rock stores I've visited. The folks who run the shop, Sam and Sonny, are some of the nicest people you'll meet. On your first visit, they'll give you a tour of the store and information about the various claims they own. Their tour even involves a really awesome display of fluorescent minerals that are located in their geode cracking room. Since my friends and I discovered their store, we've visited at least once a week (sometimes more) as their store is conveniently located down the road from our workplace. Even with our frequent visits, there is always something new and exciting happening at the store. If you're in the area, I would highly encourage you to visit. It truly is a wonderful store with the most welcoming atmosphere, and it's designed in such a way that people of all ages can enjoy it. It's definitely worth checking out on a weekly (or more) basis. Me and my boyfriend came here in a whim on our anniversary and let me just say this was probably one of my favorite parts of the day! The owners were super kind and clearly very passionate about their work. They showed us around the store and some of the stuff they have is absolutely amazing and gorgeous. I already plan on being friends and family here so they can enjoy it as much as I do. I will be a life long customer for sure. I definitely would recommend going here they have a great selection and the jewelry they have is amazing definitely plan on buying some for gifts for my family. I actually had a really great time here. Like they said, they are all local miners, and were very knowledgeable about the different types of rocks. I also got to crack a geode, which was really fun, and got to go into the fluorescent room. Inside the fluorescent room, they showed you the different types of glow-in-the-dark rocks. Also, the people there were very nice! The owner’s son is an excellent artist, and they let me pick a free rock out of the treasure chest. Overall my favorite rock shop. Nothing can compare.

I completely forgot to write this review over a month ago but I cannot say enough good things about this shop! Such amazing people, so nice and attentive. Anyone who walks into the door is offered a full tour of the shop by the lovely couple who owns the place. They have an amazing selection of rocks and minerals, as well as some fossils. A lot of the item are mined by them as a family but they also have more selection from friends they have all over! They have a geode and fluorescents room that is so cool! If you don’t like any of their precracked geodes they will crack one for you and small a cute Polaroid! I don’t go to Arizona often but if I do I will go out of my way to visit this shop again. Can’t wait to go back!

This place does not disappoint! What a bunch of lovely people with a nice selection. Initially, I brought my kids to let them get some of the smaller stones I could afford. Found some lovely things for myself as well. I think we enjoyed the atmosphere just as much. It was nice meeting you all, we look forward to coming back in the future!

My husband and always shop for special stones when we are in Arizona. Today’s experience was the best we have ever had. The Baar family made us feel like we were part of their family from the moment we entered. Knowing who mined our stones and the artist that created our pieces made it all the more special. This business exemplifies kindness, quality and education. I came in as a customer and feel like I left as a friend.

My niece was in town and is into rocks and minerals. We went by here and met the owners who gave us a full tour and showed my niece and us, some cool things we had never seen before. There was a lot of cool rocks, fossils, hand made jewelry, crystals and a small selection of antiques. Nice selection of geodes that they will crack open for you too, which is way nicer than hammering on one at home.

Let me just start off by saying how AMAZING and KIND the owners were!!! aside from the great selection of unique family and friend mined minerals, as well as beautiful jewelry, they really showed us a great and entertaining time, with no sales pressure just genuine interest in our interest! Sam even gave my boyfriend and I each our own free geode! Everything was adequately and priced with many affordable selections. You have to go check out the glow room, filled with different phosphorescent crystals. They gave a wonderful tour and now this has become my favorite crystal shop in all of Arizona!

What a wonderful experience!!!! Sonny and Sam are so welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable!!! I am so glad I found their shop!!! The specimens are A grade, the selection is amazing and the handmade gemstone jewelry is gorgeous!!! They have several of their own claims in Arizona so it’s wonderful to be able to purchase native minerals that they’ve mined themselves. I spent over two hours in the shop!!! If you are in town and can stop in I highly recommend it!! You will be amazed. One of my top three rock shops that I’ve visited across the country.

What an amazing rock store! One of the owners, Sunny I believe, was so helpful. We as a family like to visit rock shops and this was the most informative visit I have ever gotten. Also the kids are allowed to touch just about everything!!! Such great knowledge and wish I lived closer to visit more often. One of my kids got a geode cracked there and it was the best geode we have ever gotten. Visit this store if you are near it!!

Sam and Sunny were wonderful; extremely knowledgeable, kind, and generous. On a whim we decided we would check this place out and it ended up being one of the coolest things we did during our stay. Not only were there many rocks and minerals to peer at, but exquisite paintings too. Their son has an indefinite interest in prehistoric art and animals which he translates beautifully onto canvas. Wow! What an awesome experience! Came in with my girlfriend on our anniversary and was blown away by a family owned business that puts their hearts and souls into their craft! Purchased a cut gem and some beautiful Petrified wood which I will upload photos of if I can figure out how to do so. Prices were completely fair, and service was a cut above the rest! This is my favorite rock and mineral shop I’ve ever been to. Sunny and Sam are genuinely warm humans. The shop is so much fun to peruse. It’s worth a visit just to look around, though it’s hard to leave empty handed as there is something here for everyone. They have all stages from raw minerals, some that they have minded themselves, to artfully finished handmade jewelry. What a special place!

It's a fun, smallish rock and mineral shop, and the people who run it are very helpful and nice. They have a nice selection of local and worldwide specimens and the room with reactive/fluorescent minerals was fun!

What an amazing place! My sister and I came into this shop hoping to browse and maybe pick up a few minerals. Instead, we received a warm welcome from one of the owners, Sam, and a whole tour of their beautiful shop. It was such a welcoming experience and I have never had such an informative walkthrough of someone’s shop before. There is so much passion and love in this shop and the owners smiles are so infectious! I would absolutely recommend this shop to anyone!
