This has been the single most helpful treatment I have ever tried and I have tried just about everything out there. As a combat veteran and a first responder I have been through a lot and nothing that I have tried in the past seemed to really help. I will say that I was pretty skeptical to say the least but my doctors were amazing and with their treatment plan I began to feel better. Once we found my dose I started to see positive changes in my mood and my outlook on life. I haven’t been the only one to notice; my family has seen marked improvement as well. I have struggled with chronic illness, anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, and CPTSD for decades and have seemingly tried everything so I'm a huge skeptic. I researched ketamine treatments extensively and found that there is actual science behind them, so I felt encouraged. I didn't want to go just anywhere though so I did more research and was referred to AWAP by a doctor from Mayo Clinic. From the first phone call I had with Dr. Sharma, I felt heard and seen. He truly listened and took his time to answer all of my questions. When I visited the clinic in person I was warmly greeted by Dani and then had an extensive impromptu conversation with Dr. Wong, where I was given more reassurance. Every.Single.Detail of the process from intake to aftercare is so well thought out with the goal of best possible outcomes for patients. Due to my lifetime of trauma, I had major trust and control issues. I never once felt like I wasn't safe. Doctors Sharma, Wong, and Leathem, and Holly, the nurse, tailored my infusions to my individual needs and made me feel so safe. The amount of time that all three doctors and Holly spent with me was mind blowing. I never felt hurried and I felt like a VIP every time I was there. There are clinics that will simply give you ketamine and send you on your way. This is not one of those. They hold your hand throughout providing so many resources to support you throughout the process. I finished my 6th infusion four days ago and I can honestly say I'm a changed person. I have learned things about myself that make my life make so much more sense. I have a new feeling of calm and renewed hope for the future. I got more out of my 2.5 weeks with AWAP than I have out of decades of therapy. I, without hesitation, give Advanced Wellness and Pain my highest recommendation. My treatments at Advanced Wellness and Pain were nothing short of life changing, I wasn’t sure of what to expect but they made the whole experience so comfortable and easy. This is the only treatment that has actually worked for me in 6+ years and results have been long lasting. You can really see that the whole staff actually care about the patients and love what they’re doing and that makes a huge difference in the outcome. I feel the doctors and staff at AWAP genuinely want to make everyone a better version of themselves. I was really struggling with my own thoughts, rumination, anxiety, depression, and childhood PTSD. The information and care I received at AWAP gave me a completely different perspective on life and myself. There's other Ketamine centers in Arizona, however, this is hands-down the very best facility in the Vally. The Physicians here always explain everything in depth at your initial consultation. They have also been through the entire program, so they know exactly what you are going through. In between your infusions,, and during your Integration, you are matched with a Coach who you meet with via video chat. You discuss your experiences, and any issues that may have come up - what you may have been feeling, what past memories came to mind, etc. You also set in motion a plan to keep yourself healthy. I have been on medications for my mental health for over 30 years. My Psychiatrist recommended Ketamine Therapy, and I am thrilled with the results. It's a perfect tool to set in motion a better future for your personal well being, but you have to continue to do the work as well. "Trust the Process" I'd give more than 5 stars if I could!

To say that working with the amazing folks at Advanced Wellness changed my life would be an understatement. I came to this practice on the advice of my psychiatrist because she told me I needed to heal. I participated in the intensive, integrated 6-session ketamine infusion program at Advanced Wellness. I also worked with an integration coach (which was provided as part of my treatment) the entire time. Every infusion I had was a positive, safe experience because all 3 of the doctors at Advanced Wellness are warm, experienced anesthesiologists and treatment rooms are state-of-the-art and inviting. You are greeted by name walking up to the front counter, and each doctor that you work with takes the time to get to know you to support you through the process. Advanced Wellness and Pain are second to none. Every painstaking detail is addressed in the office to create the perfect environment for healing.
