I've been frustrated by the inability of my current provider to solve my issues with an enlarged prostate and the headaches that causes. When I discovered VIE, and the process of prostate arterial embolization, it looked like the best approach to dealing with an enlarged prostate I'd found to date. Unfortunately, my insurance will not cover the procedure. When I went in for a consultation with Dr. Cummings at VIE, he was confident and open and listened to my concern. When he explained that I would be a good candidate for the procedure, and that VIE would go to bat to try and get me approved, it gave me hope I wouldn't have to continue waking up 4-5 times a night and stand there forever waiting for my bladder to empty. Hopefully he and VIE will get the procedure approved, so I can move forward.

Everyone from beginning to end was pleasant. The doctor was informative before my procedure. If I had to do this again I would want to return to this office of wonderful people.

It took referrals to an internist, then to a rheumatologist, then to my endocrinologist Dr. Gonzalez who finally send me to Dr. Wolf and her team to properly diagnose my venal insufficiency as the cause of my leg and foot pain. Dr. Wolf was very thorough with her explanation of my condition and the treatment options available. They are trying to get me scheduled for two procedures as soon as possible. The jury will still out until several weeks post surgery but I made dramatic progress after the first visit with some simple compression socks and a supplement. Hopefully, I will recover so I can officiate baseball and soccer and teach construction this summer.

I was sent to VIE after a failed biopsy attempt was made by another radiologist at another facility! I was slightly traumatized from the first attempt and came to VIE not only nervous about the procedure but also anxious and apprehensive about the results as well! I was reassured by my referring physician that she was sending me to the best and she could not have been more correct! The care that I received from Dr. Wolf, her nurses in particular Hannah and the entire VIE team were beyond great and far exceeded any and all expectations that I could have had. They were able to schedule me quickly, paid great attention to detail and assured through their actions that I remained comfortable through the entire process, they were so nice and went out of their way to be reassuring and comforting to me as well. Dr.Wolf and her staff are so amazing and skilled at what they do and I would definitely recommend her to anyone who is in need of these medical services! I went to VIE to determine if I was a good candidate for PAE procedure. The meeting went well and am awaiting the actual procedure to be scheduled.

Changed from compression socks to edema socks to get rid of fluid in right leg. Will recheck in 6 weeks.
