Cute little area for kids who like to be expressive. Several different areas to explore including legos, clay, art, building, Cricut, and 3D printing. Pros: - Price: $5per ticket (everyone including adults pay to enter). After 3pm price goes does to $3 - Lots to explore, if kids like expressive type activities you could easily spend the afternoon here - Parking is free. - There was a pottery demonstration when we were there. Cons: - Not an ideal location, parking was across very busy road. - Many activities came at an additional cost. Pottery painting, Cricut activities, 3D printing. - Very small location, gets very loud, not ideal for kids with sensory issues

We had a great experience from start to finish! We were looking for something to entertain kids from 10-2 years old and this was perfect! So many things to do and see and engaging to all interests! (Indoor and outdoor activities) The staff was awesome, the environment was clean and not overly busy for Memorial Day weekend.

My family visited for the first time as we were in town for vacation. We got there late so we got to enjoy the reduced pricing. My 9 and 11 year olds had a good time. There was plenty to do and everything is wheelchair accessible. Staff was friendly.

Our family loves MADE. They can get as creative as they want without making a mess at our house. Definitely recommend the annual membership too! PS, art is fun for adults too!

This place is absolutely the best place to go with an ever creative child. From legos (both enormous and small), to textiles, to painting was all covered. Great place!

Decent enough for $6. :) The 3d printer was super cool and my son loved taking home what he printed. He wishes they would have mentioned that they only have blue, purple, & orange for printing because he would have had them print something else.

The satellite location to the Magic House in Kirkwood is worth a visit for sure. While much smaller, it has a good amount of fun and interactive activities for the kids. I enjoy going to both locations with my daughter and we go frequently as members. She loves them both! MADE typically has seasonal craft activities. For example, during Halloween 2022 my daughter and I painted ceramic pumpkins and had them fired in the kiln before picking them up a week later. I would recommend ages 5+ for MADE. That’s just my opinion but I think the Kirkwood location is a better bet for children younger than 5.

This place is awesome! The staff is helpful and there is so much to do. With our 5 kiddos we thought we'd run out of things to do really quickly but we were dead wrong. We had to drag our kids out of there they loved it so much. Military discount goes a long way here. Great people! Great place!

I visited The Magic House in December 2022 during the peak winter break time for most families. While I do not have children, I had a BLAST going with my cousins of all ages ranging from 12 to 3 years old. There is so much to do at The Magic House and all avenues of interest from STEM, art, US government, construction, literature, a mini city, etc. The amount of detail in each of the quadrants of the museum is astonishing. Children can do so many THOUSANDS of hands-on activities, so plan to be there awhile. There were two traveling exhibits when I attended: a Lego animal sculpture yard and a PBS Kids Molly in Denali Alaskan wonderland. I particularly was impressed with the scavenger hunt available for older kids (myself included) to do while visiting. A cafe is available to eat at while visiting, and a gift shop near the entrance/middle floor of the museum. I don't live around the area, but it was 100% worth the drive to visit even without having kids. Worth every penny, worth every minute spent absorbing the splendor of our lives.

Made is one of the coolest most exciting things to happen for kids and parents alike around here. However it is so overrun by unruly kids on field trips that the PAYING customers can’t even use the activities. My kids were shoved around and could barely find room to have fun. Made should close to the PAYING public if 50 unmanaged kids from a private school in the county are coming to use the FREE “community” art space.

I enjoyed watching my grandkids get creative and work with their hands instead of seeing their heads down watching a tablet or playing a video game. Awesome!!

Seriously one of the best places to visit especially for elementary aged - middle school aged children. So interactive. The customer service is friendly and you can only expect a new adventure every time you go. My stay at home motherly advice allow your children to spend all day in one area if they choose it's pretty reasonable and you children will feel fulfilled doing their favorite things.

I absolutely love this place but my son loves it even more ! There are so many different stations to try your creative mind on. Bc it’s STEAM based, it’s hands on learning backed by science/engineering —but most importantly, fun! My son’s go-to stations are the coloring, pottery & rocket ship. Close runner ups are the recycle, legos, puzzle & buttons creation stations. The yearly membership is very reasonably priced and worth every dollar even if you only take the kiddos once a week. The priceless aspects would be the quality time, unique creative experiences and imaginative designs coming to life. There’s an adult version downstairs; unfortunately, there aren’t “daycare” options available to single/ co-parents who wish to simultaneously use the adult version. This is slightly irritating as a single parent but moreso bc the adult version is located in the same exact building as the kid one. I wish they had a single parent night or option to use the adult studio while your child was playing in the kid studio. We need an adult/kid-friendly art co-op in the STL area— w/ daycare options —basically 💁‍♀️

The kids (and parents) loved this! There is so much to do and the stations are incredibly well thought out. There is something to do and entertain (while also leaning) for all ages.
