🫤 I rode the entire length of the trail from the trailhead to Skiatook. There was still plenty of broken glass on parts of the trail while riding out of North Tulsa. I was also chased down my dogs twice. The first was a dog that duh it's way out of a fence and chased me after I stopped at a crossing.... People often mention trail, Tulsa, dogs, ride, bridge,

I rode the entire length of the trail from the trailhead to Skiatook. There was still plenty of broken glass on parts of the trail while riding out of North Tulsa. I was also chased down my dogs twice. The first was a dog that duh it's way out of a fence and chased me after I stopped at a crossing. The second time, I came up on three junk yards dogs laying right on the trail at the crossing. I had to wait several minutes until they got distracted and went back inside before I sped past the crossing. They must've of heard me because they immediately started chasing and kept it up for a good distance too. The crossings where I encountered the dogs are: E 33rd St N E 71st St N The trail is a lot better once you reach Sperry. This trail would be nice for a family ride if it werent for the presence of loose dogs along the trail. I most likely will not ride this again. For those that do, just take caution.

This trail is often secluded for long stretches, which is beautiful in many places, but dangerous in others. I encountered abandoned buildings covered in graffiti, homeless encampments flooded with trash, and aggressive people blocking the trail. At the 71st street crossing in Turley behind the junk yard, dogs chased me down at high speed growling and snapping at my bike.

The Tulsa County portion gets zero stars. Poorly maintained, low hanging branches, trash on the trail, and uneven pavement are everywhere. About 5 miles in, there is a bridge that is closed. No warning sign, no detour, just closed... I would not recommend riding this trail at all, but especially not alone. At one point I was chased by a homeless man. That being said, the Osage county portion of the trail is 5 stars! Beautifully maintained, lighted, and smooth pavement. Several bridges that are not closed, and only 1 road crossing. It is a beautiful trail! Drive to the Skiatook Central Park and ride out to the county line and back.

Trail is nice and flat and much of it is shaded. It's well maintained as far as vegetation, but there is frequently trash and debris on the trail. Riding alone is never a great idea, but especially on this trail.

This is a wonderful pedestrian trail that travels from Tulsa to Skiatook. I have ridden this trail a great many times and it is a very nice bicycle ride. The bridge over Flat Rock Creek is currently closed but if you have a bike capable of doing some off pavement riding then there are ways to get around the bridge. The bridge is an old wooden railroad bridge that the Tulsa Fire Department shut down after someone set fire to it. Hopefully the City Of Tulsa will have that repaired soon. This trail is mostly flat so if you're on a bike you won't have to struggle up any big hills and a lot of it is covered with shade trees. There are some absolutely stunning views of the Oklahoma outdoors to be seen on this trail.

I live in Skiatook, me and my family go on walks every other week. So far dogs have only come after us once, but they ran off without causing any harm. Pretty good trail, so I'd recommend it for people who want a peaceful walk, or a bike ride. Just bring pepper spray, or if your super cautious, a gun. (There are sometimes homeless people living in blanket houses, but they're almost never aggressive).

The trail itself is pretty nice. A nice quiet ride through the country once you get past North Tulsa. It is a very straight and flat trail. There has been some broken glass on the trail several times. Beware of stray dogs. We have had several dogs "come after" us while riding through North Tulsa. Carrying pepper spray and/or a gun is recommended and I wouldn't ride alone on this trail.

Let's be clear...the trail runs for miles through Tulsa. Yes, you are going to ride past some things you don't want to see and through neighborhoods you don't want to hang out. Just peddle on because those items are few and far between. I would recommend the buddy system if you are not familiar with the area you are riding. Be safe and enjoy.

The Osage County portion is awesome! Well maintained, clean and lighted. The Tulsa county portion is in disrepair. There are a couple of homeless camps and lots of litter on the trail. The bridge is out and there is no warning sign. It is a beautiful trail, it's just a shame it isn't better cared for on the Tulsa side.

Great trail, but as of 3/4/2023 trail north bound is closed at Flat Rock Creek for bridge improvement. There is also an large amount of construction on the north side walk at 36th Street North which requires a detour to Greater Union Baptist Church parking lot to get back on the trail.
