My husband and I took advantage of the date night package and it did not disappoint! From the time we arrived we felt comfortable and relaxed. We started with the sauna and then from there moved into the salt cave where we continued to relax ( and nap). The float tank was up next and it was my husband’s first time to float and my second. Everything was explained to us by the amazing staff so that our float was comfortable and we were able to feel as many benefits from our float as possible. We finished up our date night back in the salt cave with our chocolate covered strawberries and our bottle of wine. It was such an amazing few hours. We were able to relax together and leave feeling refreshed. I would highly recommend. You will not be disappointed!

Book a ladies night package for your next night out with the girls! We got the enjoy the sauna and salt cave with light snacks and were able to bring our own wine! The staff was so friendly and accommodating even after we lost track of time and accidentally overstayed. This was the perfect gift for our mom, highly recommend!

Brainwaves Float Studio is the first of its kind in the North Versailles area. They offer a variety of top end wellness therapies, as well as a gym, available to members. The front desk staff is courteous and available to answer any questions. Contrast Therapy offers the highest quality sauna experience with infrared technology, followed by the chilliest 3 minute tub soak of my life (71° 😂), repeated 4 times over 60 minutes. Relief in my shoulder actually came during the 3rd dip in the cooling tub! It was an awesome experience, I would definitely do it again and I would try an even more extreme cooling tub temperature. The Salt Cave is beautiful, and the 60 minute treatment was especially nice for my skin. The Float Tank. It’s beautiful. It’s private. The room leading to the tank is lovely tile, with a beautiful shower, seating and hooks for belongings. The tank was the perfect temperature, and it’s big enough to comfortably stand in. The 105 minute session was long enough to completely relax. Eventually with the body experiencing weightlessness the spine decompresses also, which was such a relief. I really look forward to booking there again, and after experiencing the float and Contrast Therapy especially, I can see the true benefits for healing. The environment is really beautiful, and the staff is very helpful. I’d recommend Brainwaves to anyone.

My husband and I have been patrons of BrainWaves previously, and decided to purchase the date night package to celebrate our anniversary. It was truly a treat to mind, body and soul. Kelly was our modalities master for the evening. We were always greeted with a smile as we moved from each modality to the next as well as given in-depth explanations. We even learned she made the chocolate strawberries herself! Just an extra special touch to an extra special evening. It's difficult to convey in text the emotions this studio evokes, but we encourage everyone to check it out - it will not disappoint. It is apparent that the staff here believes in and embodies their product, AND are excited to share it with those who seek it out.

2 hour double float with the Mrs. Absolutely amazing experience, super friendly staff. My only recommendations would be to install a tankless hot water heater for the showers, and slightly thicker head rest floats. Can't wait to go back!

Really enjoyed their float tank! I love that they have neck floaties for the tanks! I got a gift card for here and love all the things they offer . I plan to come back and try other services !

I did a contrast therapy session, which is 3 rounds of 9 minutes in the infrared sauna, then 3 minutes in the cold plunge, which is at 55°. The cold plunge is definitely intense. I've done an ice bath before so I knew what I was in for. But it was definitely challenging for me to stay in there for 3 minutes, 3 times. I did it though. And the contrast between heat and cold felt great. The facility itself is awesome, with lots of options for different modalities. Kelly gave me a walkthrough and explained everything in detail. I am definitely going back to try different things. Check out their website and see all that they offer.

Clean, nice atmosphere. Lounge still needs the wood stained and the gym isn't done yet. Should be a really nice place soon once it's complete. The couples float was great and the showers were nice. I was so relaxed I fell asleep on my first float. If you are into this stuff great place to go.

My son bought me a gift card for Mother's Day for the Halo therapy in the salt cave and a 60 minute massage. What a wonderful spa day I had yesterday!! The salt cave was so peaceful and relaxing and my massage and masseuse, Serafina, were AMAZING!! I left feeling very relaxed and "stress free". The building has such a peaceful and calming atmosphere everywhere you go....and very clean. The staff are extremely friendly, professional and very well educated on all areas of the spa and the therapeutic benefits each area provides to your body. They gladly took me on a quick tour and showed me all the amenities and equipment they offer. I am anxious to go back and try the sauna and float tank. Keep up the good work.....it's so nice to have a unique spa like this in our area!

My husband and I purchased the date night package for our Anniversary day date . From the moment we walked in the door it was instant relaxation . The sounds , scents and decor set the mood instantly . I love that each experience is in a private setting . Everything exceeded my expectations. The package includes Sauna , salt cave , float then back to the salt cave for chocolate covered strawberries that were so fresh and delicious. You can also take your own wine to enjoy with your strawberries . Everything was wonderful and unrushed . We both left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated! Will definitely be going back.

Had a session in the Salt Cave. I've had bronchitis for three weeks and was still having breathing issues. I bought a three session package and had my first one today. I was so impressed by the cleanliness of the entire building. The facility was something you'd see in an upscale area. I was given a tour and then taken to the Salt Cave. I was given a very informative presentation on what to do and what to expect. The 45 minutes flew by and I felt very relaxed when it ended. Now, six hours later I can really feel a difference in my breathing. I'm looking forward to my next visit to the Salt Cave. Great place, great staff. I would highly recommend.

I’ve been to brainwaves several times and I always use the float tank and the salt cave and every time the experience is amazing! The staff are so friendly and welcoming! The amenities are so nice. Everything is always sparkling clean. It just feels so well done! The float tank is such an amazing way to reset and clear your mind. I’m an asthmatic and the salt cave works wonders on my breathing plus it’s a great space to unwind and meditate on your float session. I highly recommend brainwaves!

Unique little gem of a spot. Was greeted by a wonderful staff and was even able to shake hands with the owner, Paul! Did the 60 min float and will be back to try out the rest of the complex. We had an excellent experience at our date night last night! It started with an Infrared sauna experience which we followed up with a refreshing cold shower. Then, we enjoyed the salt cave. After that we rinsed off before our float in the pod large enough for two! One more refreshing shower, then we enjoyed six incredible chocolate covered strawberries in the salt cave! What a glorious Monday evening! They booked me same day - which I thought was fantastic. Our host was so kind and eager to assist us in feeling comfortable and enjoy our whole experience from top to bottom. The place is very clean and feels very nice, new, and cared for. I felt like I was floating for a long time, but our host said she cut it short due to a lightning storm in the area. She said we could come back and float at no charge which I thought was incredibly generous. The whole date night experience for two was only $179.00 which I thought was a perfectly fair price for all of the luxury and relaxation. I slept so deeply last night! Can't wait to go back!

We booked a date night package for Valentine’s Day and let me tell you we were impressed from the moment we stepped in the door. The cleanliness of everything is only outdone by the kindness and friendliness of the staff. I can’t remember the name of the staff that helped out but she was beyond wonderful. We started with the sauna which was amazing. From there we moved to the salt cave. Our time in the salt cave really helped with so many things. The last thing we did was a float. It was a weird sensation at first but quickly became the most relaxing place. The end of our day was with the best chocolate covered strawberries I’ve ever had. Truly a great experience throughout our day. We will definitely be going back!

After 3 floats and 2 massage appointments, I have been consistently impressed with Brainwaves. The friendliness of the staff, comfortable and relaxing vibe, and quality of services are all top notch. Serafina’s massage treatments are both relaxing and therapeutic. She takes time to check in with you along they way and customizes to work on trouble points. The Float facilities are are spacious, clean and conducive to an optimal float experience. From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave, you are treated as a valued guest. It’s a unique studio, and I plan on frequent returns for massage, float, and to try other services.

My husband and myself had our first visit today and we did the contrast therapy for two. I loved how relaxed the sauna gave me and then the "culture shock" the cool plunge had. But both let me feeling very comfortable, energized and relaxed after our visit. I love every minute of it and cannot wait to book more services. The girl at the front desk was very informative and helpful with shows us the other services BrainWaves has to offer. We look forever to visiting again... soon!

This place was so cool!! It is the only place around Pittsburgh that has a wood sauna along with other fun and relaxing activities, and the only place I could find that has a similar spa experience to spas in Europe- where it’s not just about treatments, but the atmosphere and relaxation and the availability to do it together with loved ones. There are so many interesting modalities offered and the space is decorated in the coolest way! I had part of my bachelorette party here and Kelly was so helpful and kind and worked with me to make it exactly how I imagined it! She even brought us some snacks to enjoy at the end of our sessions :)
