My husband brought me to this adventure during my birthday. It was an awesome experience, and the tour guides were awesome. There were a lot of people though by the Emerald Cove, but for the most part, people and tour groups were pretty respectful of the line/queue. Kayaking along the Colorado was peaceful. Will definitely go back here again.

My wife and I just did the full day trip and it was amazing! Seeing the Hoover Dam from the base was awe inspiring. I've driven over and past it dozens of time, but viewing it this way was like seeing it for the first time. Once we started down the river our fantastic guide, Greg, told us lots of interesting facts and stories about the river, canyon and surrounding areas. Along the way we stopped at a few hot springs and a couple of caves. I would say the first 6 miles were the best, there was hardly anyone else on this section of the river which made it easier to take it all in. We saw animals in the canyon along the way, including a herd of big horn sheep along a ridge, a desert iguana, and countless different species of birds. This kayak trip isn't a float trip; if you decide to book this trip, be prepared to do some paddling. I would definitely recommend Blazin' Paddles to anyone looking for an adventure on the Colorado River. All their equipment was in great condition and their guides are amazing (especially Greg!).

We had an amazing day with "Rey" as our guide. She has a sweet spirit that will make even a grump smile. Ask her to tell you a dad joke or two, lol. Their snacks and drinks were plentiful, the kayaks were fantastic, and there's a little surprise with each kayak that you most likely won't have with any other company 😁 (book a trip to see what I mean) . The God given views were beautiful. You can't ask for a better opportunity to see, experience and enjoy the Colorado River with a company dedicated to bringing you quite possibly your best vacation experience. Thank you so so much.

We did the Hoover Dam to Willow Beach/Bay. Just over 12 miles of Kayaking. Hosts McKenna and Walter were excellent. Great knowledge, friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend this trip due to the scenery and the experience. Just remember to take old sneakers or preferably beach shoes and also a change of clothes, as they will be required. Can’t compliment Blazing Paddles enough.

WOW!!! Bucket list. Especially with Blazing Paddles.. they really have it together. From the quality of the kayaks and paddles. The top notch guides Greg and Melissa who were just phenomenal. You can tell they take pride in what they do and are 100% focused on making sure it is an experience of a lietime. Can't wait to go back and do the twilight paddle. Thanks guys.

Our guide Griff was the best! From having everything all set up to his easy going attitude it was like hanging out with an old friend. His knowledge about the area really made it a perfect excursion for this kayak newbie. 10/10 would recommend! Also, those snacks were 👌

Got off of the strip this trip and did the half day tour with Blazing Paddles! Hotel pickup was smooth, all employees were very professional and personable, taking time throughout the tour to interact with customers. Water and snacks were provided. Great adventure to beat the heat! Highly recommend!

What an amazing way to spend our evening in NV! The drive, views, tour, food … all top notch for the half day trip. Our guide Mike was truly so amazing and unforgettable. He works harder than anybody, he kept us safe and in good spirit. He was a fountain of information! What a great company doing some of the best kayaking around! Give our guy Mike a bonus for this one! Hope to return soon for the full day tour. My husband said it was one of the best trips I’ve ever planned for us! Made Las Vegas feel new and good again. Thanks to Mike & Blazin’ Paddles!!!

Seth was most excellent during our excursion through Black Canyon towards Emerald Cave. DO NOT FRET UPON THE HEAT!!!! The water is 50s year round. They provide supper soakers and I ablidged myself by soaking strangers as we kayaked past them and they was okay with it. SHOOT THEM!!! Seth was extremely intelligent and educational throughout our entire experience. On the way back to dropping us off, he spotted big horn desert sheep and pulled over to allow us to capture amazing photos with them. Thank you Seth! Hope we will meet again.

My husband and I are visiting Las Vegas for the first time and we wanted to experience things beyond the strip. We are so glad we booked the full day tour. We ended up being the only people on the tour with Jamaica, and it was absolutely incredible. We stopped at a few hot springs, and Jamaica pointed out so many awesome things that we would never have seen if we had done the self guided tour. We did have to paddle almost the whole 12 miles because the water really was not moving, but of course that is not predictable. We highly recommend this tour to anyone who is up for a bit of a challenge. Their launch and take out process is very efficient, and they have several staff members who do all of the heavy lifting. Thank you so much for a fantastic day!

What a beautiful place to plan a guided kayak tour. It was nice that they had exceedingly great equipment, snacks, and also knowledge/ history of the land! Our guide ANDREW he was witty, down to earth, overall a great guide and a pleasure to be with. I went with my family and we had such a great time I will share the word.

Griff/Griffin was my tour guide. He had us laughing and while educating us about the animals and history of Hoover Dam. Snacks like cookies, candy, chips, granola bars and water will be provided. Paddling up stream will be hard if you have never done kayaking before. If you have kayaked it's still water so there's 0 rapids. It'll feel like you're paddling through peanut butter!

Melissa was an awesome guide! I asked about local plants and she was very knowledgeable as well. Did the full day trip and highly recommend... smaller crowd, more workout (but downstream), more places to see. :)

We chose the full day self guided kayak from hoover dam to Willow beach. We have limited holiday only kayak experience. We were briefed before departure, dropped off at hoover dam with our kayaks, life vests and map with stop offs/mileage markers. There was plenty of time to stop off and enjoy the hot springs and sights along the way. This was an amazing experience and the 12 miles are doable with limited experience. On arrival to Willow beach there was blazin paddles staff there to collect our kayaks and we were transported back to our hotel (hoover dam lodge). Highly recommended.

YOU HAVE TO DO THIS! It was the best thing we did while visiting Las Vegas Had an amazing time! Trip was great from the minute Michael our guide picked us up at the hotel. This was the greatest paddling experience ever. Greg, our super cool guild, picked us up from the strip Vegas and accompanied us all the way. We stopped for a beach camp fire / bbq which was very nice, and paddling back under stars was unbelievable! Highly recommended if you visit Vegas!
