LOVED this cat cafe!!! Came to see Thomas O’Malley and left feeling so happy I did! He was so sweet and his muffin making skills are TOP NOTCH!!! Didn’t get a chance to go to the cafe part but definitely will next time! The cat lounge upstairs is the perfect cat hang out. I love that the two areas are separate so you can truly enjoy your time with the cats! We went around nap time it seems but all the cats still enjoyed pets (: Definitely recommend coming here and will be coming back! ❤️❤️❤️

WOW! I can’t believe it has taken so long for us to check this place out. We are cat lovers. Unfortunately, we already have two cats so we are unable to adopt from this amazing organization. However, we loved supporting them by buying some drinks and heading upstairs to play with the cats. The staff at Mount Purrnon are very kind, knowledgeable and you can tell that they love the cats. This place has many places for visitors and cats to sit and tons of toys. The cats were so lovable and friendly. If you’re looking to adopt, PLEASE consider Mount Purrnon- they do great things here. We will definitely be back for our regular cat therapy.

We've been here a bunch and recommend it for a nice relaxing fun time. Delicious grilled cheeses that are kiddo approved and cute wine pairings that give a nod to some of the adopted alumni. The owners are the best and adore cats with every fiber of their being. The money for your entry goes towards taking care of these lovely kitties which is so worth it. You can even sponsor some kitties. Who knows maybe you will meet a new friend.

Wow I had such a nice time here, staff was so friendly and laid back, cats were so fun and friendly and it was really nice to bring a hot coffee or tea upstairs while playing with the cats. I didn’t have a chance to eat here this time but I am coming back asap. Location is great, decorations fun, music good but a bit loud and hard to talk over. Loved the ambiance and fact that all cats are up for adoption and you can take time to bond with one before applying. Very happy about my visit, good Management Mount Purnon.

One might even wonder why it took so long for a cat café to get established here. Well, apart from the endless stream of tourists passing by Old Town (which are really not the most ideal cat-adopting crowd), a cat café would suggest a thriving community filled with families that need a cat or two in their lives. We ran out of time and did not get to drink wine with any cats but the setup looks fantastic, not to mention their mission to care for old or abandoned cats (which we all should try to support given how much pets give back to us humans). If anything, this is just a great first- or any- date place to compliment the usual bar-drink fare that packs the local area.

I’ve been to a few cat cafes but I really like this one. I love that they have senior cats as opposed to only kittens. It makes me happy to be able to hang out with them. My only suggestion would be to get there before your appointment time to find parking and walk there.

I’ve been here several times and it never disappoints! Wine bar on the first floor, cat lounge on the second floor. Only 12 people allowed in the cat lounge at a time to avoid overcrowding/overwhelming the cats so reservations are highly recommended. Staff are friendly, caring, and passionate about helping the rescue cats that live there find their forever homes. Nice food & drink menu includes locally brewed beers/ciders, grilled cheeses, & edible cookie dough. Fun events like jeopurrdy, wine tasting, yoga and more. I appreciate that they offer adult only hours & have an age requirement. **Be sure to read the FAQ’s & policies before you go!**

LOVED my time here! It was so fun playing with the cats, talked with staff and learned about their mission, what they do and the process of where the cats come from and how they get adopted. Definitely worth the trip. Didn't have time to get any food or drinks in the Cafe but did buy some Kitty Town Coffee beans to make at home. Love that they have their own coffee blend featuring their mascot Weasley. My boys also love the Mount Purrnon kicker toy I got them.

i absolutely adore this place my mom invested when they were first starting up and i got to go a few months ago for the first time. they had such sweet cats that were clearly very well taken care of. they weren’t forcing the cats to socialize which was amazing! they had very good information on the cats for people who wanted to adopt and i absolutely love this place! if you’re thinking about going here DO IT !!!

The sandwiches were good, coffee was okay, obviously the cats were the best part. We were lucky to have interacted with so many awesome cats. We donated the adoption fee for a shy senior girl I think if you are looking for a new companion she would be perfect her name is Andromeda, if I didn't have 3 cats already i would've took her home!

This place is wonderful; nice relaxing Cafe and bar space with a quaint cat area upstairs where you can have hour long play/interactive sessions with the cats. There's cats of all different kinds if you're looking for a new friend for your home, and there's also occasionally "sponsored" adoption cats, so they can go to the right home for little to no fee. The bar and cafe has a good selection of drinks and finger foods, and they even offer fun events such as wine tastings on some Wednesdays. Be warned though...we had no intention of adopting a cat when we visited, and ended up getting 2...the cats are well trained in the art of love and coercion ;)

I love this place. Grab a drink and sit back with cats. Who wouldn’t love that. We loved it so much we adopted black twins. They have made themselves right at home with us. ❤️

So many cats! They are all beautiful and have so much personality. It was heartwarming to know that so many of them had adoptions lined up for them. This place does great work! And also the sandwiches are very good.

This place was fantastic. The food and wine were delicious and the cats were super playful. Everyone who was working the evening we went was informative and just great to talk to.

Food and drink is actually top tier and of course the kitties are adorable and friendly. You can buy treats to give them during your visit and they have posters of each cat so you know which one is which. I've gone two times in the last month and each time was wonderful.

Highly recommend this cat cafe! The staff are incredibly friendly, they treat the cats very well and make sure their comfort is prioritized over guests desire to pet/play with them. The cats are all adoptable and staff are constantly giving you info about the cats’ stories. They are honest about what each cat needs and recognize that sometimes a cat may not be a good fit for an adopter or vice versa - they’ll never push you to adopt, especially if you’re not sure. I love this place so much!!

Awesome place! I highly recommend this fun cat cafe! They serve wine and food on the first floor and the cats are on the second. This is a great afternoon with friends! Be sure to make a reservation to visit the cats.
