I noticed the museum sign on Hercules street. The location is landscaped beautifully. There is a lovely iron gazebo near the pond. First, I wondered a little outside because it was so pretty. There are some enormous machines at the entrance. Inside and out I met staff (family members) who were happy to answer my questions. Inside I found an amazing collection of automobiles. Most are from the era when brass was used in their production. There are some much older and newer. This would be a great location for an event, field trip or even an afternoon date. There are docent tours at 1pm and Tuesday there is a train ride.

A great family run museum housing early automobiles and industrial machines. There are a few "newer" pieces, but things are pre-1940s with some very rare early cars from long gone manufacturers (Pierce, Locomobile, Stanley Steamers, etc).

What a fabulous little museum! Incredible cars in a new building on a lushly planted property. I am not particularly interested in historical cars but I really learned so much that it made the trip worthwhile. The staff was super friendly and informative. And I admired the excellent murals painted on the walls that put the cars in historical context. Definitely fun and educational.

What a great experience. This is a private collection of beautifully resorted vintage vehicles. The hospitality was fantastic with time taken to walk the vehicles and learn as much as we wanted. Everyone was family, so they coordinated and accommodated guests with tremendous pride. We got a great steam and kerosene engine demonstration topped off with a train ride around the property. This little known gem is worth a visit.

This is a fantastic piece to visit. The cars inside are stunning and beautifully presented. The vintage cars on display are full of history and we learned a great deal from the displays and excellent tour guide. The engines outside are stunning and we were lucky enough to see the traction engine running. The train ride was very enjoyable and our visit here was a real highlight of summer break. My 2 boys and I love it here! The staff were so friendly and welcoming, we will for sure come back. I’d happily recommend a visit to this wonderful museum.

Such a unique place, beautiful grounds, and attentive staff. Aside from how pristine all the autos and machinery are, it's really amazing to know everything runs and when you see the outside machinery, unlike what you see a typical museum, they actually start up the old engines and show you how they work. They also have beautiful murals to go with the machines and even let visitors climb up into one for your own photo ops. Very enlightening place!

Very impressive museum. We went with my daughter's school for a field trip and it was very educational. The cars were impressive, but the guides were even better, teaching the kids the history of the automotive industry, how engines work, and about machines. Highly recommended

We stumbled at this museum and glad we did. It’s like a hidden gem. Antique cars, steam engines and train rides! Great for families and children! We attended their fall festival and had a great time!

First of all, the landscape outside of the building is beautiful with a big pond on your left when you enter. The building is air conditioned, brightly lit, and feels so clean. The cars are in great condition and a lovely gentleman, a volunteer, periodically checked in with us and gave us so much information about the cars and the history of the companies, the engines, and so much more! He did not hover or rush and allowed us to enjoy the atmosphere. They have a small video playing with the bus system in California which was interesting to watch. We even got to honk one of the horns (definitely not what I thought it would sound like). The train runs on Tuesdays and we had arrived on Wednesday, which was fine, but they were slow and so hospitable that they even started up the train for us. It goes around the property and under the trees. You can also walk the property and enjoy their gazebo up front. It was a wonderful experience!

Stopped by for the first time and was astounded by the collection of beautifully restored cars and machinery. Tim was quick to share his extensive knowledge of all the vehicles and machinery on location. He explained how each of the pieces of equipment were used on farms and mills over the years. The innovations that went into the building of each piece. His enthusiasm is contagious and greatly appreciatd.
