We
visited
Seol
Grille
for
the
first
time,
for
a
birthday
dinner.
Familiar
with
the
style
of
Korean
BBQ
we
were
excited
to
take
some
guests
with
us
who
had
never
had
the
experience
before.
Entering
the
building
you're
asked
to
put
your
name
and
phone
number
into
a
tablet
in
order
to
get
a
table
-
I
don't
like
providing
personal
information
just
to
be
seated,
but
the
hostess
bypassed
the
system
(there
was
no
one
else
waiting
for
a
table).
They
program
a
mobile
host
for
your
table
location
and
then
you
follow
the
robot
through
the
restaurant
until
it
stops
at
your
table
-
it
then
jets
away
back
to
the
front.
I
don't
really
understand
the
point
of
it,
and
I'm
sure
it
was
an
expensive
purchase,
but
that's
just
my
opinion.
The
table
was
well
prepared
when
we
sat
down,
with
an
assortment
of
pickled
items
and
toppings,
plus
the
sauces
that
we
would
use
for
the
remainder
of
the
meal.
It
was
very
clean,
well
organized,
and
our
waiter
explained
everything
that
was
on
the
table.
He
also
explained
the
use
of
the
heating
system
and
how
we
could
control
the
temperature
ourselves.
In
terms
of
guiding
us
through
the
meal
I
was
very
impressed
with
his
helpfulness
and
suggestions
in
what
to
order
next
(we
chose
the
all
you
can
eat
option
for
the
entire
party).
Of
note,
if
one
person
wants
all
you
can
eat
the
entire
party
also
has
to
have
that,
otherwise
you
can
choose
from
the
ala
carte
menu
for
service
for
1-2,
3-4,
etc.
The
food
options
are
pretty
diverse,
and
our
waiter
helped
us
choose
things
that
were
mild,
spicy,
and
different.
Most
things
are
cooked
directly
in
the
bbq
grill,
which
is
changed
periodically
through
the
meal
so
you
always
have
a
fresh
cooking
surface.
The
tables
have
a
call
button
if
you
need
to
get
someone's
attention,
although
our
waiter
stopped
by
to
check
on
us
regular
and
offer
ideas
for
new
items
to
order.
Waters
were
refilled
regularly,
as
were
the
sauces.
Many
choices
but
the
highlights
were
the
teriyaki
chicken,
Seol
steak
(several
varieties
of
this
including
some
spicy
versions),
and
the
brisket.
We
also
had
shrimp,
the
egg
souffle,
and
several
other
unique
dishes.
This
is
a
meat
eaters
place
-
you're
going
to
be
cooking
your
own
food
and
90%
of
it
is
meat,
heavy
on
the
beef
side.
The
sauces
add
uniqueness
-
some
of
the
meat
is
not
marinated
so
you
can
choose
how
you
want
to
flavour
it
at
your
table,
while
others
come
prepared
with
their
own
sauces.
A
very
positive
eating
experience;
friendly
and
efficient
staff;
food
quality
was
fresh;
restaurant
was
very
clean
and
well
lit.
We
would
definitely
return
for
special
occasions.
