2023 for me. Thank you @amandajordanrealtor1 for the recommendation @fthuntmassageandspa I booked a lymphatic massage with Massage Therapist, Sarah. How did I feel 5 minutes after walking in?? I had left the DMV and walked into a 5 ⭐️ Resort Spa. Yes, those are Massage Chairs when you walk in the door. From booking appointment with Julia directly (book online may be your cup of relaxation tea) to arrival in the welcoming, serene, sparkling clean, and beautiful entrance area filled with relaxation merchandise, having choices of hot tea or water brought to me as I sat, settled and surrendered into a comfy chair while watching a breathtaking loop of nature’s finest winter scenes sprinkled with deep red cardinals & assorted puffy birds, to my chosen service, 90 minute lymphatic massage with Sarah, (& subsequent rebooking 😉with her as well) with Front area attendant, Arthur, mind, body and spirit were seen, softened, & stretched into stillness (add on service, lavender essential oil)! Seeking to reduce swelling in an old injury in my right ankle/lower calf and in a new one, pinched nerve in left knee, this was my first lymphatic massage. Sarah is very knowledgeable and skilled in therapeutic massage technique. She offers her knowledge in a subtle, yet effective manner, combined with tuning in to this client’s need for the quiet moments to be fully experienced. She checks in with questions of massage pressure and informs where she’ll be working next incorporating breath work to assist the body in regulating and releasing. Mission accomplished for me!! See you next month! Do your research to find the service which best serves you. Seeking a Spa experience with a variety of service options in Alexandria, VA (Mt. Vernon area off Sherwood Hall Lane) check out their website to uncover a Therapist & service which meets you where you are. #lymphaticmassage #massage #relaxation #massagetherapy #fthunthealthandwellnesscenter

It was my first couples massage and this place delivered! The ambiance was relaxing and comfy. We had Jennifer and Grey on our visit(Jan 19th). We did a deep whole body massage, except I chose essential oils and my husband added hot stones. His highlight was when Grey worked on his back. Mine would be my shoulders and neck by Jennifer. At the end I bought a collagen shot that they sell it was actually yummy. They also provide water for you to drink prior and after your massage. I loved the options this establishment has. I will definitely be back for a girls day with my friend and check out the Lomi Lomi massage!

Got lost for a second, but you can definitely see the building from the street. Overall, it was easy to book & the massage was amazing (deep tissue for 60mins). Basil did a wonderful job with paying attention to my most problematic areas. Definitely one of the best massages I’ve gotten in the DMV.

Spent 2 hours at Ft Hunt Massage and spa starting with a Swedish massage with Clayton who was amazing and then ended with a fabulous facial from Carolyn, which was also amazing! My skin looks so bright and fabulous, I recommend both :)

Carlos hooked me up. Left feeling relaxed with no more back pain. I enjoyed the massage chairs in the lobby and the politeness and helpfulness of the receptionist. Pretty sure I’ll be back

I am so happy to have found this gem in my neighborhood. The facility is clean and has a relaxing ambiance. The front desk staff are courteous and friendly. A special shout out to Tidiane, whose background in physical therapy assists him as a medical massage therapist in pinpointing the exact source of the problem and addressing it with successful results. Tidiane is an example of the proficiency of therapists this facility has to offer.

Beautiful spa and the staff was very professional and nice. Deep tissue massage was well over due and they ensured my comfort needs were exceeded. The rooms were very clean and all the staff was so nice and professional. Can’t wait for my next visit.

This center is absolutely incredible. They’ve thought of every little detail to make it perfect. From the staff to the decor to the services. The salt cave is super relaxing and the massage was perfect. I’m definitely going back!

Wellness center sometimes, sickness center others. I have spent in the ballpark of $8,000 here getting over my sickness with Covid in the HBOT machine and with massage therapy. They are fully aware of my precautions, and have had no problem making accommodations in the past. However, when I came for my early AM massage with Carlos, I was greeted by the front desk who did all the talking. They were trying to conceal that Carlos was sick and had no voice. The spa encourages the patients to stay home when sick, but is perfectly fine with people coming to work OBVIOUSLY sick and pass their diseases on to their clients. I was only in the massage 12 minutes, because I realized that despite asking for it and getting agreement, Carlos was deceiving me as I lay face-down about the fact that he was unmasked. After feeling tricked and betrayed I left the appointment. But I still did get Covid again, and have persistent nerve pain, vision problems and tinnitus as my main outcomes from my visit to this 'wellness' center. On top of that they refused to refund my appointment because I did not cancel in time. Trusting this place with my health, trusting them even to be honest about the situation, was the biggest mistake I made this year.

Loved my little "self care day" here. I did the 3 hour day pass and it was a fantastic value for the broad array of services I received. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable, atmosphere was relaxing, facility was up to date and clean. Highly recommend and plan to come back to try out more services and their couples package.

Not one to typically write reviews but after reading so many positive ones, I really had my hopes up and want to write an honest review. I bought $600 of gift cards in December 2022 for Christmas presents. I booked 4 massages, 4 sauna and 4 salt cave experiences for October 6th starting at 2:30. On October 5th, I received an automated email saying that my massage was cancelled. I called immediately and Tori at the front desk said Carlos, my masseuse, walked out and they had to cancel my massage. I expressed my disappointment and she said there was nothing that could be done. I asked if the schedule could be shifted so that I could get a massage too and unfortunately, it wasn't happening. Upon arrival, we sat in the comfy chairs in the front and then we were taken to the back where we went to our "changing room" (which was a cleaning closet with rakes and mops - see picture) and put on robes and slippers. First stop was the sauna which was enjoyable, however, noticed a LOT of mold on the way to the sauna in the Japanese soaking tub and other wet areas of the "spa". Second stop was massages (for 3 of us). Mary, one of the massage therapists said she came in to give a massage and then she was quitting. That's two people quitting in 2 days - hmmm? The 4th person in our party sat in the salt cave which unbeknownst to us was completely broken down. The other three joined and at that point, Tori tried to turn on the salt cave to no avail (the cave is supposed to infiltrate with salt particles creating almost a smokey room). At this point, all we could do was laugh at how many things had gone wrong throughout the day. We left before the hour in the salt cave was up. I wouldn't spend another dime at this "spa".

I purchased a gift certificate for my husband at fort hunt massage. My husband really enjoyed his massage and was impressed with the pressure applied. The front desk staff was so kind and answered and questions I had about the certificate prior to the massage. Plenty of parking onsite
