Sapwood is an excellent brewery located in an office park. What they lack in curb appeal, they make up for in the quality of their product. Definitely try the Double IPAs- they are amazing. But you really can't go wrong with any choice. Plenty of bottles and cans available for takeout. No food but check out their website for food truck schedules. Limited outdoor seating when I was there. Do not miss Sapwood if you are doing a brewery tour of Columbia.

Nice place to hang out with family or friends. The place has ample seating, a welcoming ambiance, a great selection of beers, and a food truck with delicious options for you to nibble while you enjoy their drinks. The servers were super friendly and knowledgeable. We had a great time while enjoying a couple of beers and seltzers #beerblogger #breweryhopping

As a non-drinker, it is always great to hear about brewerys who have more options than Shirley Temple for me and also a fun night for my friends! I've heard nothing but amazing things about the beer here, so I would recommend this place to everyone. Mike the owner seems like a great guy too. 5 stars :)

Good beer and great customer service. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars was their to-go prices we're a bit crazy. This is the first time I can say the in house draft and to go beer only had a 50 cent difference. Would recommend visiting, but don't get beers to go, you'd be better off to just drink them there.

This is the place for the most flavorful beers. Each one was better than the previous one. Make time to get yourself here!

Today, I had the chance to revisit Sapwood Cellars with my friends, and once again, the staff was friendly. I'm also grateful for their kindness and the gift. You should definitely visit Sapwood Cellars. I can't wait to go back! Thank you for everything.

Awesome beer and great variety. Convenient snacks and usually a food truck around on weekends. Can fill up at peak times but there’s also a great new outdoor space. Good service and nice people as well

As the old saying goes, "It it had been a snake, it would have bit me." Did not know a brewery existed so close by, let alone in a business park. Went there for a friend's birthday party. They have a separate room on the left side to hold parties. From the outside of this nondescript building, you would never know what was inside, uh, except for the sign that is. We walked in and it is a rather large bar like setting. It felt comfortable. There were many workers moving around always busy helping customers. They all knew what they were doing. I spoke with the one of the older gentleman and asked if he was the owner. Nope, he just works part time. It appears this place opened in 2018. I assume this place was able to stay open through this pandemic because it works like a fine oiled machine. Literally anyone of the employees could have been the owner/manager. They were everywhere taking care of things. They brought over our drinks to the party room, cleaned up regularly, and all were friendly and helpful. I don't think they served food as I did not see any food menu, but they had a food truck outside which was also on point! Had a great time and wouldn't hesitate to go there again!

All of the beer was amazing, the atmosphere was comfortable and fun. The food truck out front had a great selection. Definitely a place I wish was in my area so it could be one of my regular places to go to. Great place!

Every beer I tried was excellent. Inverted Rings Pale was by far my favorite. Great local brewery. Stop by if you can.

Wonderful customer service. One of the owner/brewers was on site and happy to chat with us about the beer. Complex beer that is easy to drink and pleasing to the palate. Highly recommend. Will be back and bringing the kids next time. Cheers!

Hands down the best beer in Maryland. We are beer snobs, our hobby is going to breweries. And Sapwood is the best. Bot to mention, the staff is SO kind. They don't mind my wild child running around the taproom. I've apologized to many of the bartenders there and they have given me a smile and said they love it. We had my husband's surprise birthday party there and the staff was just amazing to work with. Everyone had a great time. On top of all of that, Sapwood has also donated to a fundraiser I run. They're just incredible.
