First time dining! ABSOLUTELY Delicious food! Such a unique tasty new restaurant in Oceanside. Great flavors and spices, hearty meal! If your looking for authentic and flavorful meal definitely go to Himalayan Bistro:) Also, the service is super friendly which is hard to find these days. Food comes out pretty quickly too! Food is also hot and fresh:) Got the Naan Garlic Cheese Bread, Butter Chicken & Tandoori Wings! All Terrific! Must try restaurant with nice atmosphere:)

If you desire that authentic rich delicious authenticity when your dinning out this new restaurant won’t disappoint. The Indian and Nepalese cuisine here is excellent. The lamb sag was fresh and rich I’m looking forward to returning to try the butter chicken and the rest of their dishes.

FINALLY we found our favorite Indian spot!! We’ve tried so many places and they disappointed us but this place is absolutely amazing! The flavors are so rich and everything was perfectly seasoned. We got spice level 2 and I would say it’s about the same as a raw jalapeño spice. Can’t wait to come back

My new favorite spot for local Himalayan food! We picked up the Mango Chicken Curry, Navaratna Vegetable Korma, and Garlic Cheese Nan bread. Everything kept well and made for a perfect take out meal at home. Each curry comes with a choice of rice or Nan for a side, or you upgrade to other options. Can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu!

Wow! What a wonderful new Indian restaurant in North County. Now we don't have to go south to get good Indian. The naan was very good, flaky and certainly made from scratch. The Nirvana chicken curry was extremely good. Full of flavor and just the right spice. They don't yet have their alcohol license, so the drink selection was minimal at this time but they're working on that. We will be coming back quite often, enjoyed this place. Recommend you try it.

The staff were helpful and kind and the food is INCREDIBLE! I ordered shrimp tikka masala with brown rice (white rice was also available) and garlic cilantro naan to go and everything was fresh and delicious. I will absolutely be back to try the rest of their menu!

We tried once and loved it so much that I had my birthday party there for a party of 12. They accommodated every need we had and were so kind and considerate!! The food is amazingly delicious!! I had chicken tandoori. The masala is out of this world yummy goodnesss! Everyone loved their food even those who were not familiar with the cultural delight. We had so much fun with Sogot and Drona and the rest of the crew. My husband wanted to learn a few of their dance moves and ended up being a small dance party of laughter and fun! Felt much like a family community party with everyone versus just being served dinner. They made my birthday extra special and I am so grateful 💗 highly recommend the food and getting to know the staff. Wonderful, warm atmosphere with the best food. Just doesn't get any better. 💗🤗

We ate here last night, all of the food was delicious and the service was great! We will definitely eat here again. It's the best Himalayan food I've had in a while. We have two kids and they were very accommodating. Even our toddler ate all of his food. We liked all of our food, but the lamb tandoori was the best!

We had curry chicken and the mixed Tandoori. Both were excellent. The garlic cilantro naan was especially good. Service was a little slow but good. Chef was very accommodating; gave us a little more curry gravy than is normal. So glad there is a good Indian restaurant close by.

I tried all my favorites and a new ones. It’s more of a cafe than fancy restaurant. The food was delish. I order 5 main dishes, two appetizers, glob jom. Over $200 worth. Left overs for two days… yay!

It was my first time having Himalayan food and the lunch special was delicious! There was a ton of food and I was able to try 4 different dishes, all flavorful and tasty! I took some chicken Chili home to my husband and he ate it all! Highly recommend!

The Chicken Curry and Garlic Cheese Naan was amazing! I love that you are able to choose your level of spice. I chose a level four (with 5 being the spiciest),which was perfect as I like spicy food. The service was great as well. I will definitely return to try other menu items!
