What a great addition to the Johnston community. Excellent local running store with a great selection of shoes and running accessories. Lindsey was extremely knowledgeable, professional and attentive to my running concerns. After performing a recorded treadmill running form analysis in my current shoes and explaining to me the results she recommended a number of stability shoes I may like in various sizes. And best of all she was very patient as I ran and reran again in multiple pairs of shoes on the treadmill and outside to find the perfect fitting pair! Great business.

Stopped by to replace a pair of running shoes that I had been wearing for far too long. Staff was really helpful in providing advice and giving insight on foot structure and best shoes for my activity and usage level. Went to Johnston store for three pairs of shoes for the XC team; 1 was in stock. They called the Clive store and held the other two pairs. Got those same day and picked up a 4th. Great service! Returned a week later, to purchase another pair for the team and then watched them fit my son for some corrective shoes that greatly helped him recovery and end with a healthy season.

Excellent service. We went here for cross country running shoes for my daughter. He took the time to make sure she has something that fit correctly and was comfortable. We really appreciate him taking the time to make sure it was right. I have also shopped here previously to get trail running shoes for myself and I am happy with those as well. Knowledgeable and Easy Going! We went to Heartland Soles to just get my daughter fitted for a pair of running shoes. Coach Asby listened to what we needed, let her try on 4 different pairs and talked her through which one she felt was best for her! He was kind and patient and so super helpful! Even though this go around we didn't make our purchase from there, we will definitely be back and would HIGHLY recommend Heartland Soles to anyone looking for the perfect running or walking shoe.
