Our second ever Michelin star restaurant, on the same trip! I wish I could give 10 stars. A four course dinner that you pick from a couple choices. My SO and I, each ordered something different so we could experience more. Everything was just...wow. So decadent an delicious, I loved every single bite. We also got the wine pairi with each of our courses. We mentioned we were celebrating an anniversary in our reservation and got a complimentary amuse-bouche. And the check came with these little chocolates . It was a fantastic experience!

What more can be said about Jeune et Jolie?? Our dinner was as world-class and and as truly excellent as ever. First time enjoying the Summer seasonal menu, but all the new iterations were spectacular. Feel quite thankful to have met Nate, our amazing, wonderful, and extremely knowledgeable waiter whose joy and outgoing nature made for a fun experience and really special evening. The white asparagus from Holland is not to be missed, the lobster and wagyu were beyond delicious, and the duck was a star of our meal. And the atmosphere-like always-was just right. And despite being so rightfully popular and satisfyingly busy, we did not feel rushed in any way and feel lucky to have been able to close our favorite bistro down that Friday night. If you have been before, then you know. And if you haven't, then I hope you soon have opportunity to try.

My husband and I had a magical experience for our anniversary. Incredible attention to detail. The food was amazing. We don’t usually do tasting menus anymore because the food tends to be a bit too experimental at many places but here it was inventive yet approchable. The service was impeccable and the food was coursed out perfectly.

Beautiful restaurant. Amazing taste. Delicate and simple. The flavors and service are awesome. There is calmness and control in everything they do and present here. We wanted to avoid alcohol in our food and drink and the staff was able to guide us through it and deliver an amazing meal. They served us three additional items that were not on the menu and they were each exquisite Loved every bit of the experience. Highly recommended.

Exquisite - best meal I have had in San Diego and one of the better meals I have ever had. Every aspect of the experience was carefully considered and well attended to by a great team of staff. Eleanor was an awesome server, attentive, an incredible guide to the menu and to each dish, her descriptions of the preparation and the composition of each dish were incredible. Jacob kept everything moving, replacing the silverware, refilling water, delivering dishes. Brandon's expertise with the wine selections to accompany each dish with the wine pairing option was full of unique knowledge about the heritage of the grape, the vineyard, and the region and enhanced the wine/food combination. The mixology program here is phenomenal, both the N/A and Alcohol cocktails were fantastic, complex, balanced, and layered with flavor. Don't miss out on the Gougere, which is an incredible, rich, cheese filled pastry topped with black truffle. It is on the bar menu, but Eleanor recommended it and was a delightful treat. I could write on and on about the dishes across four courses. As a group of six, we shared the dishes so everyone could try everything and every dish was incredible. It is rare to have a meal where each bite is a culinary experience, but the four course dinner at Jeune et Jolie offers just such an adventure. Such richness of flavors and perfect, thoughtful preparation. The Wagyu option is a worthy addition, it is the most elegant steak I have ever eaten. The treats between courses were also incredible, a flavorful amuse bouche, incredible bread accompanied by rich sea salt butter, and delectable sweets to cap off the meal. The interior has a cozy elegance, with pink and gold accents throughout. The patio is quintessential Southern California outdoor dining, comfortable tables and booths are surrounded by fires and patio heaters to maintain a high level of comfort even as the setting sun lowers the temperatures.

One of the finest restaurants I’ve ever eaten at! The finest quality food prepared to perfection and served by exquisitely attentive staff. The courses expertly complement each other and are interspersed with tasty surprise bonus morsels. Exceptionally enjoyable. My strongest recommendation.

This was the most amazing food experience I’ve ever had. We went for our anniversary- nearly everyone congratulated us and gave us the cutest little card signed by the staff. The food, drinks and service were out of this world. The vibe was super cool. A reservation was tough to get and when I did find a time my only options were outside or at the bar. I chose the bar, but it wasn’t super comfy. It was still fun to watch the bartenders work their magic. You absolutely must try this place!!

Only stopped in for drinks, but they alone merited a review. The ambience at Jeune et Jolie is impeccable- we enjoyed watching the chefs work in the open concept kitchen while we sipped on our drinks. We had both of the mock tails on the menu. The melon one was absolutely incredible, and the apricot one was great (truly) but maybe slightly less memorable. We didn’t have to wait at all for the bar, but I’m sure getting reservations for dinner is a different story. Excited to try their food some day (it all looked exceptional)

Jeune Et Jolie, the renowned Michelin-starred restaurant, has been at the top of my "must-try" list, and my birthday celebration provided the perfect opportunity to finally experience it. My husband and I decided to indulge in the tasting menu, with a few add-ons, including the Plateau de Fruits De Mer, a combination of oysters, prawns, bay scallops, and mussels, as well as the exquisite fresh white truffle from Italy. From the moment we stepped foot inside, we were enchanted by the ambiance. The birthday card awaiting me at our table added an extra touch of warmth and thoughtfulness to the evening. The staff at Jeune Et Jolie were not only warm and friendly but also incredibly attentive throughout our entire dining experience. Each course of the menu was impeccably presented, and the knowledgeable staff took the time to explain the intricacies of every dish. To our delight, we were even treated to a couple of unexpected additional courses, including a delightful amuse-bouche of the night and some mouthwatering bread. Every bite of the tasting menu was an absolute delight for the senses. Among my personal favorites was the Homard, a tantalizing combination of lobster, harrisa, basil, and tarragon, which I had the pleasure of enhancing with the addition of fresh white truffle. The Canard was another standout, offering tender and flavorful duck meat that left a lasting impression. To make the evening even more special, Head Chef Eric Bost personally signed my menu, elevating it to a cherished keepsake. He graciously visited our table, taking the time to offer heartfelt birthday greetings and further enhancing our dining experience. Without a doubt, my birthday dinner at Jeune Et Jolie was an enchanting and memorable culinary journey. I eagerly await the next special occasion that will grant me the pleasure of returning to this exceptional establishment.

Dear John, I had a wonderful night at your restaurant! Your staffs made us feel special and they all did a great job! Gavin is so attentive through our time at your restaurant, even until the moment we left the property, he sent us a warm and great wishes for our first stay in Carlsbad. We will be here for few more days until Thursday, Sept 21! Nate did a fantastic job and he makes all guests feel very important and comfortable, I’m so glad that my husband picked your restaurant for celebrating my first day in Carlsbad and birthday!! The card is a very sweet touch. Love it and highly recommended to everyone! It’s also our great pleasure to see you showed up towards the end of our dinner too! Wish you all the very best and please keep up the great work! We will try your sister restaurant as recommended by Nate tomorrow :) Brandon, the sommelier gave us an introduction of himself and Alan, very professional, and he picked some good wines for pairing our course meal. I especially enjoyed the first course pairing! We look forward for our next visit! Hope you can get more Michelin stars in the near future (:

First off, this place is great. Don’t let the four stars deter you, if you have the opportunity and the means to go… then you must! The food was great, the atmosphere is chic/classy/beautiful, the staff was so nice and welcoming. We had a difficult couple at the table next to us and our waitress did a wonderful job dealing with them. I am a tiny bit surprised they have a Michelin Star. The reason being is that it was exceptionally slow. We arrived at 6:15 pm. And we did not leave until just after 9 pm. That’s about 40 minutes a course (4 courses) … and we sure felt that time. It was not as though those 40 minutes flew by. I also understand that sometimes restaurants have off nights or a staff member calls in sick last minute. So maybe this just happened to be the only time this has happened. All that being said, it was overall very good. I just wish it would have not been such a drawn on affair.

From the welcoming vibe as you walk in as contemporary French pop plays with cheerful staff dressed in casual attire to the perfect taste offerings, it was an evening we would not soon forget. Each dish on the tasting menu was thoughtfully crafted, balancing a myriad of flavors in intermittent bites. Like a good movie, I didn’t want it to end. The petite brioche with apple butter served between the courses was like a warm hug & complete happiness. The staff were well versed, friendly and courteous. Wonderful gastronomic journey all around!

Thank you Kyle (Day 02 of working) for the amazing service! From the time we walked in the door and greeted by Nate we felt like we were in France!! The service, food and ambiance is exceptional! The food was indescribably DELICIOUS 😋….and the French 75 with cognac is our signature drink and almost rival to Hotel Crillon in Paris 🇫🇷! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Fantastic dinner. Highlights were the scallop, duck, desserts, and cocktails (especially the gimlet). The service from the staff was excellent, but it was a slow meal. We were seated 15 minutes after our reservation, paid quickly after dessert, and ultimately left 2 hours and 15 minutes after our reservation time.

Got to eat here for a birthday celebration. Everything was great; from the food to the service , it was dope . We all got the four course meal, I would fully recommend that you do the same. At the end of the meal we ordered an extra lobster course to share with another bread because it was just that good.
