Gorgeous area to watch the sunset on the horizon. The viewing platform is pretty small but there’s plenty of other great vantage points (basically the entire beach) The beach offers plenty of parking but it can be full during peak times (sunny, weekend, during the day) so plan accordingly.

The best part about this beach is that it's peaceful, the vibe is immaculate and doesn't matter how many times you come here, each sunset is absolutely mesmerizing. Did I not tell you about the wonderful people in this little cozy town welcoming everyone with a smile? Now I have!!

Love the bagpipe at sunset each night (near the restrooms); while there are many people, the sunsets and view are perfect. Patience with parking or park a little ways away and walk. Priceless place.

What a picturesque beech. Super dog friendly. The white sands and beautiful ocean with rock formation on either side. It’s really a wonderful place. The seaweed here is something that I never see before. Interesting shape and hard tube type body. It’s so hard that locals use it to play baseball. The park surrounding is well maintained with beautiful trees and plants. How lovely just to be here. We are here at overcast day, but I can only imaging the sunset must be incredible.

Enjoyed every minute spent there, only disappointment was that it was cloudy the day i visited hence didnt get to see the awesome sunset. It is also pet friendly. It’s a good spot for picnic as well.

Beautiful beach with fine sand. It was very clean. There were lots of local people to clean the beach and area. Nice view from every spot. Plus, it has toilet facilities. Dog friendly and has great paths for walking.

Nice and soft white sand but the flies wouldn’t stop landing on me! We tried watching the sunset and I was too hungry and annoyed by the flies to stay until the end. It is super conveniently located down the hill from all the cute shops and charming corridors.

Beautiful sandy beach the waves are probably too big for little kids to play but the sand is a fine white sand which is fun to play in ! When we went there was little back rivers that was great for the kids to play in because it was warmer and obviously calm. They had a foot shower at the top of one of the stairs which is always nice.

One of the few beaches we've found in NorCal that gets anywhere close to the gulf. Squeaky, powdery sand, emerald water, long surf for the kids, dog friendly, and the area around the beach is very nice. Get there early if you want close parking.

Awesome blue ocean and the famous Carmel pine trees! My first time visit and have always wanted to go. Carmel is surrounded by pine trees and other trees. It's also in the hills. Beautiful shops. Grasings restaurant was a 5 star to us. The service and food is excellent. Pricey. Worth it! Carmel bakery is also a must to go. Delicious all kinds of pastries and cookies. Love their gingerbread cookie! Carmel is one of the beautiful small beach town and more.
