5 star is as accurate for this place as it is for any other. Just had lunch here; split a spicy Italian sandwich and ordered 10 mini cannolis. Sandwich puts virtually any other chain sandwich establishment to shame. And the cannolis were quite possibly the best we've ever had. We will most definitely be back.

Tried Capone's Italian Specialties today and it was pretty damn great. The deli and store overall is a bit small, but I was more than impressed by what this new little shop has to offer. My sandwich, the Spicy Italian, was everything I wanted it to be. Great flavors, fresh meats and bread, and actual spice! I literally went "mmmm..." with each bite. I found a lot of hard to find ingredients, i.e. bucatini pasta, fresh buffalo mozzarella, dried Calabrian chilies, to name a few, but I was also a bit disappointed by how empty some of the shelves were. I will chalk it up to, they have been so busy, they haven't been able to restock. My wife and I bought everything we need for a great make-your-own pizza at home night and I can't wait to try it. I will definitely go back and you should make your way there too.

Great first visit to Capones! We has sandwiches, chips, and cannoli. The sandwiches were simply delicious and the cannoli’s were so amazing, I want one everyday. Great little grocer, they even have spumoni ice cream in the cooler, which I left with! This will be a shop we will be frequent visitors too without a doubt👌😁

So delicious! Will 100% go back Plus, buying the freshly sliced meat eliminates a bunch of plastic as they wrap everything in paper 🙂

I have not had a sandwich yet, but one is next on my list. However, I have picked up fresh pasta, sauce and meatballs from this place and they are all great. Additionally, the Olive Salad they make is killer. If you are in the mood for pasta having the fresh stuff makes a difference. I highly recommend this place !

4 year old son said, "you gotta try this mom it's really good" regarding the meatball sandwich. I had the rustico and yum!

What a wonderful find. I noticed the sign for Fine Italian meats and decided to stop for some Italian sausage to make dinner tonight. They told me about their lunch special which is any sandwich, chips, and a cannoli. How fun is that. I was super impressed with the amount of meat and cheese on the Italian sub. I also liked the vinegar zing and the herbs and spices. The owners were so nice. The sandwich was made with love. I'm looking forward to going home to try the Italian sausage tonight. UPDATE: I made soup with the Italian sausage and it was divine. I got the spicy Italian sausage and it lived up to its promise. High quality sausage, not grisly or overly fatty like some. Just the thing for a chilly day. Yum! We'll be back for more.

Was in the area and thought I would try this place. It turned out to be an excellent decision, I got a Spicy Italian with Double Meat + Cannoli, five stars, a very tasty and filling lunch. I will for sure be returning, the staff were very friendly and talkative. The restaurant had additional products for sale too, the samples were also quite tasty.

I actually really really like their sandwiches. They are extremely friendly and they have really good food. They’re understanding and they understand that a lot of people are going through a hard time right now including themselves. The economy is very, very bad inflation prices it’s affecting everybody especially small businesses like this I went in there to help them out, even though I’m struggling And I got a sandwich and I couldn’t afford anything else and they understood that I was struggling and they were grateful for me to come in. They gave me a free piece of pie. The food is amazing and I responded that I’m just happy I can help out a small business. We are all struggling. I would recommend this time shop to basically anybody and I would hope that people pitch in and try to help keep them afloat during this crisis , too many small businesses, family owned businesses or good restaurants are closing because of debt bankruptcy inflation and the fact that nobody has money because they’re paying so much for their electric, their gas, their food their rent and they can’t go out to restaurants this often let alone restaurants have to struggle to stay afloat by paying 50% more for their products and probably 50% more for their rent the situation is unsustainable if we want good restaurants, good food, we have to keep them afloat

At first, I thought it was just a complete restaurant from the outside. I always drove by Capone's but never went inside until today. I was surprise to see the front end as an Italian specialty store. But in the back, you can order meats, cheese, platters and sandwiches. I tried the spicy Italian and I will say. It is very delicious. I do highly recommend this shop. Especially for an Italian sub. The store overall was very clean. It was vibrant with colors, and organized. They have music playing while you shop and or eat. The staff was very nice and helpful. It did give a family business vibe. I will come again to try another one of their subs for sure 🍻

As quick and easy to get in and out as the average sandwich shop, but with far better ingredients and friendlier service. Picked up some delicious chorizo and a pack of Busiate pasta for a third of what it costs elsewhere. The kids had fun eating in the small dining area - will definitely be a regular lunch spot for us.

The sandwiches at Capone’s taste exceptionally fresh. The cannolis are just as delicious. You can’t beat the price for the quality. The bread they use for their sandwiches will be what brings me back every-time. Highly recommend!

First time today (02/26/23) stopping by this place-- looking for an alternative to Cosetta's in Saint Paul. SO IMPRESSED and I think the quality of the product (and certainly the prices) are MUCH better. Purchased some deli meats (Mortadella with Pistachios and soppressata)-- both were cut expertly and the quality of the product was excellent. Also purchased some sweet Italian sausage and bracciole. The bracciole was a risk-- I usually make my own-- but it was WELL WORTH IT: excellent flavor, expertly rolled, SO SO good (as opposed to Cosetta's bracciole which is loosely held together with a toothpick and it's primary flavor is SALT). The service was excellent, the place super-clean, and I will definitely be back to this small family-owned business for my Sunday gravy needs... and probably a sandwich at some point!

Hidden gem of St Anthony! The lunch sandwich special is such an amazing deal! The food is so fresh. I enjoyed the Prosciutto and Fig sandwich - meat, cheese, bread, everything was super fresh! The cannoli was delicious! Will definitely be back
