Was driving by the area after hiking in Yosemite, it is about 3 miles off the freeway but totally worth the drive. The staff was super nice and friendly. The pizzeria was clean, neat, and welcoming. & lastly the food was amazing!! We had the Vegan Tandoori pizza and all the veggies were fresh and delicious. Also, I’ve been vegan for almost 5 years now and I’ve been to many vegan Indian places but this was the first time I’ve seen a place have a vegan Mango Lassi & I must say it did not disappoint. Definitely stopping by again next time I’m in the area. I highly recommended this place, your belly will thank you!! 😋

The staff was very friendly and patient and the food was amazing. Everything was top tier and they really cater to vegetarian and vegan diets. Even if you aren’t vegetarian or vegan there are plenty of options for all customers and you won’t be disappointed. My girlfriend and I ordered the chipotle chicken pizza and it was so delicious we ordered a butter chicken pizza to go just so we can enjoy it later.

This is the only place in Central Valley region that has so many wide variety of vegan pizzas available. I am really impressed. And they're all delicious too. Thus, even I have to travel 50+ miles, I go there frequently. Definitely recommend all the vegans to try them.

Wow! I came here with my bf who is not a vegan & he kept commenting that it was some of the best pizza that he has had, to which I agree! He got the Buffalo pizza which had an excellent hot sauce instead of marinara, the spice level was maybe a medium. I had the pesto artichoke pizza which had a most excellent pesto and was generously topped, and drizzled with creamy garlic aoli. The pizza was not overly oily despite having pesto, cheese, and aoli. The flavour was rich and satisfying and didn't leave me feeling over indulged (despite that confessedly I also dipped it in their great ranch dressing). The price for 2 personal pizzas and a soda was just under $30 which I felt was fair for a vegan restaurant. We will probably order a larger pizza next time though it's hard too choose which from the many great selections! We will be back for the garlic pesto knots and the cinnamon bites next time! The man working was friendly and attentive; it took about 20 minutes for our order to be cooked and served.

Vegan pizzas are so good here. There are so many options. I came a few years ago and was not a fan but they have changed things for sure. The crust is the right amount of thickness. They don't skim on toppings and flavor is really good. Prices are right especially with the different sales they have each week. Dining area is clean. The server is always really polite and attentive.

Delicious place. All the goodness you want without all the grease! It's hard finding good veggie or vegan places. This place is AMAZING quality food! Definitely try!

hands down our favorite vegan restaurant in modesto, every plant based pizza we've tried (and we've tried almost every one) is amazing, and our orders are always ready on time and are hot and fresh. so grateful to have so many vegan options here as there aren't a ton of others in town. all my non-vegan friends and family love it too even though they can be hesitant to try!

So good! Easily ordering vegan pizza-Hardest part was picking which one to get. We got the buffalo and artichoke and both were great plus cinnamon bites. Definitely recommend!

The vegan pizza was some of the best I've ever had! I definitely plan on going back even though we live about 2 hours away, the drive would be worth it! We had the artichoke pizza and the pepperoni and by far the best ones we've had since being vegan.

Really well composed pizza. Solid and the value is there! Will definitely be back. Bonus: the crust perimeter is minimal - good enough to eat. Some pizza crust perimeters seem like 500lb breadsticks. Nobody needs that.

Just had the best pizza of my life! Ordered a large Gluten Free Cauliflower crust pizza and added red onions, mushrooms and half jalapeño. From the 1st bite this pizza had amazing flavor. For dessert we got the 8 pc Cinnamon bites that come with a topping you pour on yourself. Been eating a lot healthier and definitely adding Pizzeria Halt to our favorites list.
