We stayed via Harvest Hosts and they request $20 donation which we felt was more than worth it. It is an amazing museum for those with that interest and full of original memorabilia; quite a collection. Make sure to get the tour for the full experience and many stories; Lee is the best for tours. However, be prepared for an emotional experience as well. The horrors of war.

Amazing artifacts presented by a knowledgeable veteran who is passionate about teaching and sharing. You could go a dozen times and find a new thing to look at each time.

I loved this place! If anyone is interested in History, this place is a must-seen considered! The veterans, who own the museum, were gentle and talkative about historical topics referring the US military history and US-Albania relationship. Thank you for your time. Gary, a student majored in History in AUBG, from Albania!

Although as you look at this on Google it doesn’t look like a big museum, it is very impressive. We met Lee the curator and he was nice enough to walk us around and tell us some very interesting and personal stories. I have never been moved so much by a museum. What a great place and experience. Many one of a kind items.

What a great, rather eclectic, collection of American military items!! From flags to hats to documents…and so much more! If you like - or are proud of - the American military through the years you won’t want to miss this place :) (oh, and it’s free! …but they do accept donations ;)

You walk into the first room which looks like a banquet hall with the military items displayed on the wall. Then you realize there are more rooms, especially the main display room with oodles and oodles of cool stuff. The best experience is to hang with either Lee, the owner, or one of his friends as they will walk you around telling firsthand stories and stories of various exhibit donors. The collection of items is phenomenal, but being exposed to men with these stories makes this one of the best. If you can, go on a Saturday and you may get lucky to meet one of few remaining WWII vets visiting. He lives nearby and comes often. And he has items on display. Definitely the type of museum worth visiting multiple times.

Military afficionados will love this place. It's a moderately sized building that doubles as both an event hall and a museum. There are donated uniforms, letters, guns, military supplies, and stories from all the major wars since the founding of the US. You can free-roam or take a guided tour. All free, with donations suggested.

CHECK THIS PLACE OUT!!! What an awesome collection of history!! My wife and newly promoted Coastie son visited today and were fortunate enough to get a tour from the owner, Lee! What a character and historian he is!! Loved talking with him and if it weren’t for my wife and son, I could’ve stayed for hours!

For us, this has been the BEST military museum we’ve ever visited. The array of collection were incredible and in such abundance. The personal stories attach to each exhibit were so memorable and heartwarming. What truly made this for us is the special attention and the extensive knowledge of staff, who are volunteers. Coming to this museum was a wonderful treasure find that we included in our vacation itinerary. Million thanks to Lee and Peter for making our vacation worthwhile.
