Yo! I came here for a yelp event and I ended up being hooked! My second time visiting I tried the Truffle beef and mushroom! All I could say was that was gone in minutes. The staff here is just amazing everyone is super nice they made my experience great. Parking was super easy I just pulled right up and walked in. Ordering was super simple you just place your order on the tablet and bam that's it. Give them a try you will not regret it!

Cozy restaurant with a few parking spaces. Easy ordering system with the kiosk. Good flavor on their truffle beef fried rice, although I kinda expected more portion with the price.

We're pretty picky eaters (foodies) but the fried rice here is SO good and the portions are nice and big. We got takeout and everything came out hot and fresh and only took about 15 minutes. We tried: Basil chicken fried rice, truffle mushroom beef fried rice, a custom fried rice, Brussels sprouts, potstickers, egg rolls, and chicken wings. Everything was excellent but standouts were: all the fried rice dishes, Brussels and potstickers. The fried rice is light, not overly oily or salty and the flavors are different and deeper than your typical fried rice. I want to add that the staff (owners?) are incredibly nice. We forgot to specify 'no eggs' in one of our meals - totally our fault - but they offered to let us return it and get it remade for free. We really appreciated that but didn't take them up on it because it's a new business and we want to support them. Try this place out. It's great!

Not gonna lie, I'm impressed. A restaurant dedicated to fried rice and a few dudes that go with it? Tell me more! As you can see from the picture, big ol portions. They thinly cut the meats (I got beef and Chinese sausage) and the mushrooms(I forget what kind) are a nice touch. I would've preferred a darker mushroom like shitake, but with the truffle it prob would've been too rich/umami forward. Speaking of truffle, it's got good balance -never overpowered. *I do have a higher tolerance for that rich taste so I'm bias* I would've loved bigger cuts of meat and more egg, but I'm not hurting over it either. Heads up - the pork chop is more like tonkatsu at Japanese restaurant rather than Hawaiian - thin crust/pork cutlet, and thinly cut. Very good, I just wish it had tonkatsu sauce lol. Coming back for the chicken wings next time😁 TLDR solid 4.5/5. Very solid meat/rice ratio, balanced flavor, generous portions. Worth the 5 stars for putting out a truffle rice that's🔥 and committing to good fried rice.

The food has plenty of flavor here with minimal oil. Usually with chow mein I'm used to an oil slick on my plate. Soul rice has it dialed in perfectly. I'm always greeted with the friendly staff during pickup and they always ask if I need anything else like utensils, etc. There are just a few tables and I believe most orders are to-go since I rarely see folks dining in. Great local small business in the corner of an even smaller nondescript area at the top of the hill on Skyline and Manor. Support them!

I arrived mid-transit on a road trip and was pleasantly impressed. The food and atmosphere were welcome and warm. It was fairly quiet on a Thursday afternoon, so if you're an introvert like me, you'll enjoy that. The service was excellent and quick. Give the truffle fried rice a try. Parking is a bit limited, so be prepared to walk a bit or park nearby.

We had decided when we eat out, we will try a new restaurant. I stumbled upon Soul Rice over google. We ordered rice bowls, creating our own, and they were delicious! Huge portions and good prices with lots of options. I highly recommend Soul Rice.

Loved everything about this place. It was quick, easy, and everything that came out was superb. The portions are generous and we had left overs which I'm very excited about. The pork chops and pot stickers appetizers are incredible . Definitely bookmarking and coming back next time I'm in the area.

We stopped here on our way out of San Francisco. We weren't expecting much from a fried rice restaurant in a tiny strip mall. Wrong! The fried rice was perfect. So were the pot stickers, egg rolls, and tea. There is also a limited selection of chow mein and side veggies. The staff is extra friendly. Highly recommended.

So far one of my fev spots to have Chinese food in the Bay Area! Really lovely staff and good food. My oficial dinner for every Sunday night ❤️
