Great place to take your kids and let them explore and experience all of the amazing discoveries this place has to offer. My kids never want to leave because there is something new and exciting every time we go!

I love bringing my son to play and learn. He is all over the place trying everything. He makes a new friend everytime we visit. The staff is so helpful and friendly. We always feel very welcome when we are here. This museum has many useful programs for our kids to learn and play. There are also programs to drop off the kids for a few hours on a Friday or Saturday I believe.

We took my 2 year old granddaughter and she had so much fun. A great rainy day activity. She spent 2.5 hours and would have stayed longer. The cost was $6 per person.

My 5 year old and 3 year old had a blast here exploring and learning. This is another one of those gems that exists in small town Eureka, but would expect in larger cities.

It's a great place for kids under 12. They try to change up the display and interactions as often as possible, maybe a few times a year. They offer the space at a reasonable price for rentals for birthdays. They offer weekly free playgroups for under 5 on Thursday's currently and also have Pal camp in the summer at a different location, which my oldest looks forward to each year. My toddlers have always loved this place, the staff is friendly. They also have events for certain holidays that are always packed and great fun for the kids. The parking is atrocious, so we use the street. Clean bathrooms, snack at playgroup is better than most others, and they have coffee for the big kids.

$6 per person 2 and up. Plenty to explore for my 1-year-old son who really loved it. We also have memberships that I think would be worth it if you go there often.

So much fun for our three year old and one year old. We had to take them out after two hours cause it was time for lunch and nap but they would have kept playing!!! Absolutely love how perfect it is for under age 5. The front room has some things for older kids. It’s nice how it’s basically all one giant room so if you’re going alone with multiple children it’s definitely manageable. They even have hot coffee (Keurig) and tea for kids. My only complaint is the sensory area (the busy boards were placed a little too high for the kids to reach). But overall, this place is a MUST. $6/person. Under 2 are free. Definitely affordable. Went to the playgroup that is held from 10am-noon on Thursdays, for kids 0-5yrs... It was great! My daughter had a wonderful time we will definitely be there next week!

Overall a very fun time for our humboldt children. Really appreciate the educational aspect ontop of making each spot fun to interact with. Wish it couldve been a bit bigger but cant complain and my daughter had a great time.

I love taking my kids here. They have so much fun exploring new concepts and playing with the other kids especially on a rainy day!

Dropped kiddo off for their weekly event. Gave my kid something to do outside of the hotel with other kids. When I picked her up she was happy so that's all that matters to me. They also gave me free tickets for the next time we're in town which was very thoughtful.

Always a great place to take the daughter. lots of fun toys and exhibits. And ever Thursday they have the first 5 play group that is free for kids under 5.

My daughter loves to come play at the Doscpvery Museum! It's so nice to have a safe place for her to explore and meet friends. The staff are always friendly, everything is clean, and the exhibits are engaging for my toddler. We got an annual pass, and it will definitely pay for itself!

Our 5 year old loves this place! They change things up often, so things stay interesting. We have a year-long membership, and it has been totally worth it so far!

We had our daughter's 6th birthday party here, after attending a couple other parties for kids in her class. It was so easy, low-key, uncomplicated and VERY affordable. The staff member working that day was absolutely delightful. She gave our daughter a birthday card with a day pass for the museum, a little surprise that wasn't officially included in the reservation. Parties here are great: zero pressure on the adults, you just let the kids loose and the fun is on auto-pilot. Every one of the parents commented on what a great place it was for a birthday party. We already loved the Discovery Museum, but I finally felt compelled to leave a review because this was such an excellent experience in particular.
