Where to begin… the food was amazing, the server Kiran was very pleasant and provided wonderful service. He left a pitcher of ice water at the table so I could refill as I wished. That alone was enough to bring me back. Genius move if you ask me. The atmosphere is delightful and relaxing. The smells in the air are intoxicating, the decor is minimal and cozy, the bathrooms were clean and pleasant smelling, and the music was killer. Now let’s talk about the food a little. They have mild to spicy options for the dishes, so if you’re so Caucasian that mayonnaise is spicy for you don’t worry, they have the mild options for you lol. The flavors are fantastic, made from scratch not from a bag like chain restaurants. You are missing out if you pass on this place. I highly recommend the mango shrimp spicy, and the Bullet naan bread. My only regret is not ordering more to take home. Ohhhh and they serve lamb and goat options as well. Not often you find that in Arkansas. But a very nice surprise.

My husband and I have eaten here several times and always have a great experience. This time I chose tandoori naan, kuchumber salad (which was hotter than I expected but delicious), and chicken saagwala - you can choose mild, medium, or spicy, and I chose mild - with basmati rice. My husband ordered the butter chicken, medium, and there was enough kuchumber salad that we easily shared. The saagwala was so creamy and flavorful and the chicken so tender that I ate every bite but could have made two meals from it. My husband very much enjoyed the butter chicken. We were offered dessert, and I didn't catch the name, but it was sort of like a flan or custard topped with a creme with caramel and chocolate sauces drizzled on top. We were full and split one, and it was light enough with just enough sweetness to finish the meal - which overall was perfect. As far as the atmosphere, it is nice without being fussy, so you can dress up or down. We saw a nicely dressed couple enjoying dinner for two and a couple of larger groups with children; it's really comfortable for anyone. Our servers were both excellent - one was Kiran - and were prompt without being overbearing. Taj Mahal is definitely one of our favorite Conway restaurants!

My sister took me to this place for my birthday that my boss recommended seeing how we are new to the area and do not know very many good places to eat. We drove by and I remembered my boss saying how good it was. My sister said that she had been there and it was amazing! Of course we pull in..on a Thursday at 11 AM before a lunch crowd was pretty slow. First let me say this place does not look like much on the outside, but it is gorgeous on the inside. Very inviting... staff is super friendly. My sister ordered a couple appetizers for us both and I chose the mango shrimp curry for my entrée. The appetizers were off the chart Amazing…crispy fresh and delicious. My entrée was piping hot, full of flavor and the best curry I've ever had. She also ordered us two different naan breads from the menu even though our meal came with a complimentary plain naan bread. We got the rosemary and the kashmiri (has fruit and nuts) both so delicious. We were so full and took most of our meal to go, knowing we would not be able to finish it but we were embellishing for a celebration. Even though we “could not eat another bite” our waiter Kiran talked us into a little desert. Gulag Jamun fried pastry soaked in Honey and saffron. To die for 🤤... I can't wait to take my husband here. I 100% recommend. The only thumbs down for me was the restroom...even though it was clean, the stalls were broken and you had to lock the main door to go to the restroom or bring a look out buddy..hopefully they fix that soon. I'm ready to go back :)

Kiran was an excellent host and was able to give great recommendations. We very, much enjoyed the medium butter chicken, Indian spice mango shrimp, and the mozzarella garlic naan! Exceptional food, and wonderful service. Edit: once again we had a wonderful time! Our daughter had mild butter chicken, my husband and I enjoyed the Indian spice tikki masala and mango shrimp. So wonderful. Kirin was a wonderful host.

My husband and I ate here and it was incredible. I couldn’t believe that we were the only ones in the restaurant! We ate until we were absolutely stuffed! The music was so relaxing, and not too loud. The service was wonderful by our waiter Kiran! He was attentive and made our experience feel like we were in a 5 star dining establishment out of a movie! He even left a beautiful water pitcher on the table, so we could refill our own waters, which were also in beautiful glasses. We will for sure be back for date another date! We ate here at 12:30PM on a Thursday, and we were the only ones here the whole hour! You are missing out if you don’t give this place a try!

What a gem! Taj Mahal Indian Kitchen is one of the best meals I’ve had in Arkansas— HANDS DOWN!!! We had the butter chicken (mild), mango shrimp (mild and medium), rosemary naan, mozzarella garlic naan, and desert. Everything was EXCEPTIONAL!!! We cannot wait to try more on the menu!

Good friendly service. Food was good. Traditional Indian food. So no beef for the beef eaters. Good vegetarian selections.

My husband and I have been here twice and have loved it! Kiran has taken care of us each time and has done a wonderful job! Will be back for sure!

The flavors were impeccable! Some of the best Indian food I have ever had! So many choices! Kid friendly! Our waiter was amazing and took great care of me and my family! Nothing could beat this food and our dining experience! One of my families new favorite places! Will be back for more of their delicious food soon! It is a must try! They have options for everyone! Our food was already half way gone before we could take a picture!

𝙸 ordered as delivery and this was still life altering food. 𝙸 cant imagine how great it would be fresh right in the restaurant. 𝙸've never had food that has so many strong aromatics work so dang good before. The Lamb Tikka was so good it gave me tons of new ideas in the kitchen. The char on the lamb was divine.

Being a visitor from the Kingdom of Bahrain 🇧🇭 , dining at this amazing restaurant was an absolute delight. Having visited twice within a week, I can confidently say that each bite was a true culinary experience. The flavors were rich, authentic, and simply mouthwatering. Not only is the food outstanding, but the service is also top-notch. The staff members are attentive, friendly, and dedicated to ensuring your dining experience is nothing short of perfection. wow… absolutely phenomenal, prices were perfect for a restaurant of that setting (classy yet kinda casual) food was delicious!! our server was so kind, and the wine was the best i’ve ever had. Will definitely be back, 10/10!!!

Conway is truly blessed to have such lovely food available here. The vegetarian will love the Chana masala, raita, and Kashmiri na’an is so delicious! Meat and seafood lovers have many lovely options as well. The place is super clean, the ingredients are fresh and full flavored, the restaurant ambient temperature is perfect! No need to bring a sweater. The staff are so professional. If you want a mixed drink, the bar is well stocked. Treat yourself and your family and friends to a memorable experience and an amazing food adventure! I will return often.

Taj Mahal was great! We went here for dinner with a party of four. We got an appetizer, four entrees, naan, and two desserts. Everything that we had was top notch. I love Indian food and eat it often. Taj Mahal in Conway can hold a candle to the best I’ve had. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the spice. I like a good amount of spice in my food and requested a 7 out of 10. However, when we got our food, everyone’s was about the same spice level and it was about a 2-3 out of 10 on a traditional Indian food spice scale. If you are not a big fan of spicy, this is definitely your place! Every dish we had was very mild but very tasty!

Great food. We have a friend from Sri Lanka, and she has really opened up our pallets. I am so thankful because it is amazing. The Samosa chaat was just out of this world!

Before today, my husband didn’t like Indian food! Now he can’t wait to go back!! The chicken was so tender and juicy. Everything. Was packed with flavor. The only thing I didn’t like was the rice. The rice was dry. If my meal had sauce, I wouldn’t have noticed the rice. My husband poured his chicken kadhai over the rice and it was perfect.

Extremely clean restaurant with wonderful selection of Indian beer, non-alcoholic drinks and food. I had the chef’s special today. It’s a well spiced quarter of fall off the bone chicken with vegetables, homemade potato chips and saffron rice. For people who aren’t sure about spice, mild or medium is your best bet. I was getting pretty warm from the spice level they call “Indian spicy.” You won’t find better, authentic Indian cuisine in the area. I’ve been to this restaurant dozens of times by now and have never been disappointed.

This place is amazing!! I ordered the Chicken Curry and my husband ordered the Lamb Curry ( not pictured). I love spicy foods so I love that they have different spice ranges for their curry. I got the spicy Indian curry and my got the mild. Kiran was our server and he suggested the Kashmiri bread and it was delicious! We both enjoy trying new things and we will definitely be going back!

My girlfriend and I absolutely loved the place! It was our first visit, and I must say everything was impeccable! Kiran had us seated before we were fully in the door! Besides the stellar service, the Chicken Tikka Masala was perfect! We both ordered that alongside the coconut naan and garlic and mozzarella naan! Everything was amazing! I would highly recommend and we will be regulars from now on!!
