Great discs, fantastic BBQ! My wife and I visited on our honeymoon and ordered the pulled pork and brisket sandwiches respectively with a side of slaw, kale salad, and beans. Super savory and terrifically tender. I also picked up a few rare find discs while there! Dustin is an awesome guy who made for good conversation and a friendly environment. Would recommend!

Oh my goodness! The Mac and cheese brisket (boat) literally melted in my mouth! So so good. When I arrived around 14:40, they pretty much were sold out of everything and I was able to get the last one. Uncle Ds also has some pretty rare disc golf discs. I grabbed a CAPTAIN RAPTOR and a ghost stamped SCORCH for a friend. Chatted with D for a bit and was a real nice dude. Thanks for the fantastic food and discs!

Awesome people, amazing barbecue. The only place that we ate at twice while we were on Kauai. We also sampled their bbq sauces and hot sauces, and took a bottle home (all were delicious).

Hidden gem!!! If you are looking for delicious Hawaiian BBQ, this is it! Out of the way at the end of the shopping mall to avoid all the tourist. Try the baked beans as well!!

My husband and I ordered the mac and cheese boats with pulled pork. It was mouthwatering and so delicious! Also was incredibly filing as we were able to share it and still have full, happy stomachs.

They have 5 stars for a reason the staff here is extremely nice and the food was excellent 10/10 definitely coming back when I’m in Hawaii. I just wanted more sauce on my sandwich it was so good

Average to above average barbecue for Kauai compared to Texas barbecue. Pull pork was pretty decent while the brisket was cubed. Both were soaked in sauce which is not what I prefer. Added sauces were decent and spicy than the norm. It was nice that instead of a sandwich, they offered up a bed of kale greens instead of the bread. Cold slaw was had a bit of heat and the beans were pretty good.

Good BBQ and really cool shop! The owner was very nice and helpful and he even makes his own sauces so that’s pretty neat. They also have a very solid selection of beers and if you are into Disc Golf, they have the only shop on the island! Check out Uncle D’s!

The aloha spirit is strong with this one. Uncle D is a friendly champ. Food was amazing and portions were phenomenal. Loved it.

Definitely the most unique shop we visited in our time on Kaua’i, and well worth the visit! We both got a Mac-n-Cheese boat. The mac was mild, a nice compliment to the rich flavors of the pork. Excellent pre-hike fuel that kept us energized for hours. There’s no seating in-store but plenty around the shopping center. A lucky find!

Ever since I tried this place a couple weeks ago I’ve gone and ordered the exact same thing every single time I’ve had errands in Lihue. It’s the brisket. It’s ridiculous. It’s so tender it dissolves. And I’ve always hated BBQ so we accidentally found this place when the sushi place I wanted to go to was closed and my husband said he wanted to try this place. He got the Philly cheese steak which is 99% as good as the brisket. I get cole slaw and Mac salad as sides and they’re both good. And I want to try a macaroni boat but I’m scared it won’t be as perfect as the brisket and I’ll regret it. No pictures because I can’t look at it without eating it.

Tucked away in the back corner of the Harbor Mall, walking distance from Kalapaki Beach, is a little BBQ joint that is a must stop. Uncle D’s is the real deal! We picked up the Pulled Pork Mac & Cheese, Philly Cheesesteak and Brisket Sandwiches. So damn good! Also, they’ve got a great craft beer selection along with a good selection of whiskeys and some other spirits. When you get there, tell Uncle D and his crew I say “hey”…and enjoy!

We went here upon my husband's request since I don't care for BBQ. That being said, I loved the food! We were both blown away by how delicious it is. I'd highly recommend the buffalo chicken. There's no option to dine in, but there is plenty of seating in the mall area where you can take your food and enjoy it.

Must try bbq in lihue. Make the drive for the smoked brisket and famous take on their Nawilli Philly. Awesome little bottle shop with the best Kauai stout import options and select bourbon options. The owner is a connoisseur and super chill dude. My fave stop in Kauai! Don't wait till after 2 for BBQ, they can run out. Hours differ because it's Kauai, so always call ahead.

Absolutely amazing KC barbecue! This is as good as the big dogs back in KC, and the chef is so nice! Come on Thursday and get the brisket on Mac n cheese! You won’t leave hungry.
