👍👍 Smallish museum but filled with information. Not that crowded, I was wondering because of Oppenheimer movie there will be more people. People often mention museum,

This place was an awesome find. Such a rich piece of history for our country. The inside of the building with the carpet and blacklights are cool. Be advised though, you have to be interested in this, and you can't be lazy and have to read to take it all in. This area and the intelligent staff that worked at Mound Labratories helped our great country beat the USSR.

Great place to take a blast to the past! And all right here in the Miami Valley. I had no clue there was so much Cold War history in our backyard!

A surprisingly nice museum run by the department of energy documenting nuclear research and production in the area. Worth stopping if you are visiting the mound next door.

This is a great museum! The topic is so interesting, and the stories that are told are really interesting- I would have never guessed that such a significant site existed right here under my nose. Mandy and the team at the Center were especially helpful when my group and I were starting out our research into the Dayton Project- we were given lots of good information and pointed in the direction of numerous good sources.

Interesting free museum that displays Miamisburg’s roll in the Cold War by building nuclear triggers and stuff.

Fascinating little free museum about nuclear activities in Dayton during WW-II and after. Paul, a former Mound employee, talked with us about his time there.

Great small science museum in Dayton about our city's role in nuclear development. The museum is free but donations are welcome. If you come on a Saturday you can talk to Paul, a former Mound chemical engineer.

Awesome museum with some very interesting interactive displays, cool facts \ tie-ins to local history, and knowledgeable and talkative docents. Small, but free is very hard to beat. Check out the Indian mound across the street as well!

What a great small museum, very informative and learned a lot about the labs role in the Manhattan project and beyond. Staff at the desk was very friendly and you the fact that it is free is just an added plus.

Interesting, educational place. I didn't realize Dayton had played such a major role in Cold War research. And Paul has some great history to share, if you're lucky enough to visit when he's there.
