The meal was a delight. But for me, this was more a spiritual experience than a culinary one. The owner is not only talented, but grounded, grateful, attentive, humble and centered. To be in his home and witness the pride, joy, dedication and unwavering high standards which which he plans, prepares, cooks and serves his meals was the real treat. Ask him how he got to where he’s at today and he will proudly share with you his journey. He is a gentle soul of the good kind, and you can taste it in his cooking. This man loves to serve people. He loves it with a quiet, honest passion. Great experience.

Wow, I can't say enough good things about the food that is both amazing AND authentic. Fragrant, beautiful, and the proprietor is friendly and delightful. My wife had vegetable biryani and I had chicken Tikka masala. Both were incredible. We will be back many times!

What a wonderful dining experience! The food was outstanding. We had the lamb curry with rice and the chicken tiki masala with roti, and a mango lassi! The owners are so nice! They took the time to come over and showed us how to use the lime and onion correctly. The food is perfect; not overly salty, not too sweet, and not too spicy… just perfect- Amazing!!! We can’t wait to go back again for dinner and sit in the garden under the lights! Definitely a place we will be telling all our friends about!

Reminded me of my friends home cooked Indian food. Butter chicken with naan was perfect. Everything we tried was great. Prices are amazing also. Especially compared to the establishments around a tourist area. If you're even a little curious, find out. You'll be pleasantly surprised.

Amazing food, friendly service, beautiful atmosphere. This garden area is probably the most beautiful place to relax and have a mean in all of St Augustine, and now they serve DELICIOUS Indian Food. The chef himself greeted me and made some suggestions (I came here during the slow hours). I will be coming back again for dinner sometime because the atmosphere here is just magical, especially at night. Perfect for a romantic date, or a peaceful personal meal. This place is on its way to becoming a staple location and a local favorite.

Incredible Indian restaurant! The decor alone is worth a trip. They have their dining area decorated beautifully - as if you're eating inside a garden. The food is phenomenal. Everything they make is delicious, with the most authentic flavors you are going to find anywhere in town for Indian food. The husband and wife team are lovely people who made the experience special!

We found this little restaurant which has recently opened, and were glad that we stopped in. The food and service are excellent. It's very "low key" and meals are served a la styrefoam boxes. And the seating is picnic tables outdoors, so pretty vulnerable to the chances of rain or heat in summer. My husband and I usually enjoy a glass of wine, but they do not have a license to serve alcoholic beverages (yet). This may change. We hope that they continue to thrive due to positive reviews. Excellent food- we recommend !!!

Loved the atmosphere and the man who runs it is very nice, very convenient for if you’d like to take a break and chill out in some shade in a beautiful garden, everything was delicious and the owner was very insightful about the food he served and explained everything about the items on the menu, gotta get the Gulab Jamun!!!!!

This outside restaurant was a great place to chill and eat with friends. Food was amazing, and their naans were very fresh and soft. Their grilled chicken side was delicious and flavorful

This restaurant is such a hidden gem! I loved my experience here at Gourmet Garden. It's such a cute little restaurant! The food was delicious and the owners were really attentive and very kind. The garden/eating patio is beautiful as well. Definitely recommend eating here!

Best Indian food in St. Augustine (and possibly the United States)! The menu is small but the food is AMAZING. There are a lot of vegan options, just tell the chef when you order! The parathas are not on the menu but ask if they have them - they are so delicious! There's only outside seating, but don't worry, all the fans make sitting outside a pleasure. We were there on a hot summer evening, and were very comfortable.

A very nice spot in downtown! The people that helped us were very sweet and eager to serve us food. The food was delicious! My only complaint was that the lamb I got, I think I maybe had like 3 bites of lamb. Other than that, great!

Food was delicious and hot! Service was extremely friendly and quick. Sitting area is clean/nice and one of the only places we found that didn't have super loud music blaring. Def would recommend and will come back when in town!

This place is so cute and owners are so nice. They were extremely busy when we came and had to wait for 30min but it was worth it. When leaving, the owner approached us to apologize for the wait. This was so nice of him although we were not upset about waiting at all.
