Kelsey made my wedding cake for my October rustic themed wedding. I wanted a simple naked cake, with berries to match my colors. She completely made my vision come to life! It was absolutely perfect....and delicious! Everyone loved it. She was a pleasure to work with and made everything so easy. I cannot say enough about Monumental Market and Kelsey. Everything is always delicious and everyone is so nice. I am so grateful. Thank you. Would highly recommend Monumental Market to anyone!

I love this bakery!!! I'm monumental markets #1 fan! Great coffee, amazing baked goods (especially the pop tarts!), Friendly people and a great vibe. The owner also supports other local small businesses in her store who sell kombucha, ice pops, records and plants!!!! Highly recommend!

This bakery has the most amazing cupcakes, brownies and baked goods ever! I buy the frozen cinnamon buns as gifts for friends and they are always blown away at how delicious they are! Also the woman who owns the shop is extremely kind and everyone who works there is super friendly and conscientious. The customer service is spot on! It's always great to get a break and go in there - grab a treat and a coffee- and look for a few records . They are super supportive of the local musical community - and Light Of Day's record collection reflects that. I highly recommend going there!

Amazing place! Delicious nut-free baked goods, great coffee, and always highlighting other local businesses and artists.

I loved the honey butter scone! Texture wise it wasn’t it overly dense like most scones, and was the perfect balance of savory and sweet. The cappuccino was also excellent, and my partner enjoyed his cinnamon roll. I definitely recommend this place!

Been meaning to write a review about how great this place is. The people are so friendly and their selection is amazing (really good biscuits). Bonus is they do custom cakes and we were SO IMPRESSED with the outcome (look and taste). Thanks!!

Best banana cake with lots of chocolate chips! Iced coffee was really tasty too!

This place is great! The lattes are heavenly. The fact that the whole store is nut free is so helpful. Staff is kind and efficient with great humor. Love the records! Can’t say enough good things!

Best coffee shop in JP. I love the donut muffin and the salt and pepper biscuit. Staff are very friendly and make great coffee. I love their lavender oat milk lattes as a treat. It’s a humble interior space, but functional. There’s seating outside in a little makeshift street space and sometimes I’ve seen live music there. Wonderful little cafe!

Stopped in at monumental market this morning, and they are even better than ever! The baked goods were stunning. Coffee did its job! The staff and owner are delightful and knowledgeable. They have an assortment of vinyl records that I love to look through. Their coffee is a step above. I don’t live nearby but this place is worth a short drive for me! Kelsey and her crew are lovely!

I love this local bakery! The record selection is great, the pastries are delicious (I'm especially fond of the chai cookies), and the drinks are fun (especially the seasonal rotating menu!). My only issue is why do they charge extra for oat milk as a substitution? For the lactose-intolerant people, this seems like a needless upcharge, especially when you consider that 68% of the world is lactose intolerant, generally people of non-European heritage.
