Our friend who lives in culver city recommended this cafe to us. So we came to check. It was very very very busy on Sunday morning. I’m so glad they still have a lot of outdoor seating. Luckily we didn’t wait for the table very long. The menu is huge and the smell of the French toast from other tables really caught our attentions. I must tell you, trust your nose! The French toast is amazing! Huge, but not very heavy(cause they used brioche) and also not too crazily sweet. Simply delicious. Another dish very recommended is Serbian Americana, if you are a meat eater. Very fresh and delicious. And every dish they serve the potatoes which is also perfect. You should try all of them. The only thing we didn’t feel good enough is that the waiter, only a guy not all of them, wasn’t nice and even was a little aggressive. But it’s not a big deal to ruin our nice food. Anyway, come by and have a try, you won’t regret!

Pretty great brunch spot! The portions are BIG! They also have their own parking lot but they do get busy! We ordered the French toast and they were amazing. Great service aswell 🙌🏽

I do recommend this place. The food was delicious. I ordered one of their traditional sandwiches and to my surprise the seasoning was delicious. Coffee was very good too. And the salad as a side was vast. The only thing for me was that our table was right next to the bathroom and the smell was very strong. So I will go back but definitely ask to be seated outside or indoors by the front. Party of 7 and we paid around $220

We really liked this place, the service was very fast and efficient, all the servers were super smiley and looked happy to work there. Our breakfast dishes were delicious, everything tasted fresh. You need to write your name on a sheet when you arrive, to indicate your name and number of people. They would not let you sit down unless the full party is there, which makes sense since the service is quite fast. I am not a fan of eating on the sidewalk of a street. But still appreciated sitting outdoor.

What a fantastic lunch! I had the grilled portobello sandwich and it was amazing! My wife had the chicken Caesar salad and it came loaded with grilled chicken. Reasonable prices, excellent service, and fantastic food come together to make this a great place for lunch!

Excellent. Not noisy. Attentive service, delicious food. I had the unpronounceable Serbian beef sausage-ish dish. The server will explain. It was wonderful, served over chopped onions, with just-crispy little potato cubes and a tasty tomato and cucumber salad. Friends enjoyed the lamb chops and the tofu dish. Second time there, I'll return.

Nice place. Big portions. Food good. A bit pricey for what it was. Staff were super friendly.

Very happy with this restaurant. The staff is friendly and all the customers seemed happy. The food was great and they immediately serve you the best coffee ever, it did not need any cream or sugar. Our order was lost by the kitchen so it did take a while for the food to get done... they had to put the order back in but they took 20% off and gave us free French toast, which my husband loved. They were so friendly and professional we are so happy with this restaurant. Earlier today we experienced obvious racism at a restaurant in San Marino....I almost lost my faith in humanity until coming here to Metro Cafe in Culver City but this place was night and day difference - people from all around the world happily enjoying good service and good food here... everyone no matter what color or what accent you had being served with a smile and sometimes I even witnessed who seemed to be the owner giving some patrons a family like hug .... went from 1939 to 2023 in a matter of minutes ... very grateful for Culver City and the people here ... if you want to feel gratitude for this wonderful city just go to San Marino ... then run back here lol 😂 clicking heels together there is no place like home.... I love you Culver City and thank you metro cafe for a yummy egg white and goat cheese omelette ❤️❤️❤️

It's a cafe underneath the hotel where I stay. I went in just to try it, but I was really pleased with it. They have incredibly delicious flavors, especially their French toast is a legend. It is definitely not heavy, light and not too sweet. It is ideal with syrup consistency. The other breakfast menus were also great. I will be coming back for breakfast every morning during my stay.

Pick this as your place to stop! Everything was amazing. The service was friendly and quick. The sandwiches were generous in size and delicious! The tea was a bottomless glass, and it was never empty. It is very convenient, just off of 405, right before the Travelodge on Washington. Clean and comfortable seating, inside and outside. If back in LA, we would stop again!
