Beware travelers. This is a daycare for the locals and their kids. Most kids run around the campground all night screaming and being as loud as possible while their parents sit in their rvs doing whatever it is they do. The pool had food floating in it and was very cloudy and dirty both days I was there. The tent sites are in the middle of all the chaos and you will be guaranteed to have kids running around your tent all night. We even had kids looking in our tent while we were attempting to sleep. Tent sites are also conveniently located between both sewage pump out spots and you can smell sewage all day. We stayed two nights and the last night a group of kids jumped the fence to the mini golf area and were very loud all night. The place is ran by teenagers and a lazy old manager. Every time I saw the manager he was drinking a bud light by the pool. Overall this place is set up for rvers. At night all the rvers drive their lazy as** to the playground and park their vehicles in the tent camping area blocking you in and creating a lot of noise. No lie some of the rvers were less than 100ft away but they still jumped in their cars and parked inside the tent spots. I gave it a two star because my kids liked the amenities and the nostalgia of Jellystone deserves at least a 2 star. Won’t ever be back. I’d rather sleep in my car next time.

Our family stayed at this campground as a half way point on our trip to the black hills. We camp a lot and this campground has some of the best staff we have ever come across. Very friendly and eager to help. We will definitely be back and hope to stay longer next time. There are several activities for the kids and the campground is kept up very nice. No complaints from our crew!

We booked this RV park just a week or so in advance. Ended up getting a book 3 nights, get 1 night free discount which brought the total cost per night down to about $54. Location was great, easy access on and off the interstate. Being our first time at a Jellystone park, we weren't sure what to expect. Pro's: 1) Tons of kids for our boys to play with! 2) Tons of activities including mini golf, jumping pillow, gaga ball (our boys favorite), panning for gold, lazer tag, jungle gym, and the pool. 3) Easy interstate access 4) Helpful staff and they seemed to take good care of the facilities. Neutral: 1) Easy pull through site just long enough for our fifth wheel. We had to park sideways behind to fit our tow vehicle. For many, this won't be an issue. Con's: 1) With that easy interstate access comes road noise. It didn't bother us as we all sleep with a sound machine, but I could see others having an issue. 2) They bussed in schools kids that took over certain activities during our stay. 3) When pulling out, we had to ask our neighbor to move his truck so we could make the turn. A bit tight on some of the streets. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again in the future should we find ourselves driving through Sioux Falls!

I would not recommend this resort. We spent 5 nights nights in a Cindy bear cottage and the stay itself was nice. However, it is apparent that there is no one in charge of this resort that cares about it. There were many great young adult workers but we never saw an adult overlooking them to make sure everything was done properly. The pool area was the worst. It was a hot week so it was quite busy. There was cast-off bandaids and other debris all over the pool decking area. The water itself never recovered overnight so by the 3rd day, the water was so cloudy, we were losing our diving rings in 4 feet of water. Im quite sure the number of people in the water was past its capacity. Also, there was little parental supervision of the children in the pool which made it a free for all. The noise from the interstate was never ending. It was easy access to the resort but there was a constant clamor from trucks jake-braking. Many of the activities for the kids required additional payment such as $8 for milk and cookies with Yogi. Be prepared for this. We made do for the week but will never stay at a Jellystone resort again.

Located just outside the city it had great surrounding views of the rolling hills. Cabin was perfect our family and pets to sleep comfortably. Has lots to do around the area for kids including a pool, basketball, and playground. Campfire and smores at for the perfect night's stay.

Nice place. Great for children! My 18 month old daughter painted a yogi bear with toxic paint we were told by staff member. As she is only 18m she was licking the paint brush. And I said it’s nontoxic and the staff member said no it’s regular house paint for walls. I told her they needed to switch to nontoxic paint or let parents know it’s not. Very upset about this as it’s to be a kid friendly park. Staff member didn’t respond when I told her about it. Spoke with a manager and was told it’s not toxic, I don’t believe it as it did not smell like nontoxic it smelled like house paint.

Lots of activities for all ages! There are special activities on the weekends. We enjoyed the Sunday breakfast, miniature golf, tie dye shirts, and more. Just wish they still had the jacuzzi. It was a bit hot going through the corn maze. We had a great time!

Cabin floors only get swept so bring house shoes. Bunk mattresses covered in old urine & were just flipped over(you could smell & visually see the urine marks). Bathrooms really need a deep deep cleaning. Young adults were in charge of the cleaning from what I saw and might need someone to oversee the cleanings. The pool area had trash, foam from ripped apart balls, band-aids etc all over the ground and in the pool. People need to be cleaner and help take care of places they visit!

The pool was great and kids had fun on the jumping pillow. We rented the camper and I was disappointed in what we got for what we paid. No instructions were given up on arrival, door did not open or close easily, water to the camper was turned off, we had trouble locating the thermostat, were told it would have "everything needed for a weekend of camping" but no pillows for the kids, no extra garbage bags, no hand or dish towels. We showered in the bathhouse by the pool and it was by far the tiniest campground shower I've ever used. Water drained slowly so the shower was kind of dirty. As someone who grew up camping, I was not impressed with the campground itself, but the staff were very friendly and the multiple appearances by Yogi were thrilling to the kids!

Perfect sledding hill for young kids (1-5 year olds). My kids had quite a fun time today. There are also soccer fields and a great playground for the warmer months.

We were in late and out early but the extras for the kids here were very cool! Wish we could stay. Competitive pricing and lots of sites. Policy is if you come in late, pick a site and come pay at 8am. We prepaid online but that was cool for through travelers.

Have stayed here many times on our way out to the Black Hills. Each year I’m more and more disappointed. It’s run by a whole bunch of teenagers that don’t care. Facilities are on need of work (jumping pillow has had a dangerous hole in the center of the pillow for YEARS. Not kidding, years. A staff member said it’s “always been like that.” ) The bathrooms are disgusting with clogs in showers, grounds are not maintained well at all, the pool is always a cloudy, merky mess. Amenities close at random times, depending on when a teenage staff member decides an attraction is closed (aka he’s tired of working). Last night, the pillow and mini golf area closed at 8:46, not 9:00, because a rude staff/teenager decided *he* was done with his shift. These details matter and create an overall negative impression of customer service at this campground. This location is not part of the nationally run Jellystone parks, rather privately owned, and it shows.

Very clean showers, great pool area with cabanas, good play area for kids. They seem to plan activities for children and guest. They have a store with essential food items. Right off main highway but was quiet.

I really cant say enough about this place. We planned to go to the water park, but then we saw what was available. The kids were so busy with the activities we hardly saw them. My kids want to go here to vacation just to do the things they missed.

We went to two other campgrounds and they were full so we called ahead for this one to check on availability and they were so helpful not only on the phone but when we got their. Their customer service is amazing and everyone is not only helpful but constantly checking in. I think is the best campground especially if you have children there was so much to do from mini-golf, pool, basketball court, and children's playground. Not to mention this was the quietest campground I have ever been to late at night. I have never been somewhere so quiet while camping even with so many children and families around. Plus, there are many statues of Yogi bear and friends which is great if you loved the show like I did as a kid!

The spots are too narrow. We had to move over because our slide out was too close to the neighbor's fire pit. Then our awning was over our fire pit. Fire hazard in my opinion. Also, our other neighbor's sewer hose was really close to us. The pool was nice. No lifeguards. But there were plenty of people to walk around and make sure you had your wrist band on. Overall, it's expensive, lots of fees, I felt like they're trying to squeeze as many people in there as possible. Our kids loved it though. I guess that's what's important.

We came here for a family camping trip this summer. We loved the cabanas and the updates they have done. The problem is the showers. They are very disgusting and tiny. The big shower stall drain backs up and you end standing in nasty water. We told staff but nothing was done. We enjoyed everything else but really wish the shower experience was better.

Really nice campground, friendly service. They meet and show you to your site at check-in. The grounds are clean, generally peaceful and quiet other than the sounds of kids having a good time and the occasional jet flying over. They have free miniature golf and a huge jump pad that even tempted me, as a 38 year old child at heart! We saw some kids doing crafts at the rec center and playing laser tag. They have cornhole, ladderball, volleyball and basketball courts. Lots of kids on bikes and pedal carts, seemed a very safe place for kids to play. We rented a golf cart, enjoyed the activities and pool. Nice place to stay with our dogs with a fenced in dog area. The one disappointment was that there was no hot tub, which is no big deal except it is still advertised on the website and map. But overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend for families with kids.

We rented a cabin mainly to access their impressive number of amenities. Gave me a chance to look at other aspects of the campground. Looks like a very nice layout for all kinds of camping. From tents, to pop-up, all the way up to full size RVs. Full service hookups. Very nice.

  • 2/5 Robert S. 1 year ago on Google
Pros- The manager was awesome and refunded my payment once I arrived and saw that the tent sites were located directly under a high tension power line. Cons- If you are EMF sensitive, the high tension power line is something you should know about because I would not have booked knowing this in advance. It is a shame since that is out of the control of the campground and I appreciated the friendly reception staff, the guide to the camp spot, and the manager who was so understanding.

Don't have a room. Brought my camper. So far loving it. The camp ground is located where as you can experience all that the area has to offer. Riding bikes to walking along the river to eating downtown Sioux Falls. Come and see!! Tell em Rich sent ya. ;)

Not very impressed with this park. Faces a freeway with lots of road noise. Employees were nice. Sewer drains are uphill. Our site looked right at an rv storage lot. Just goes to show that their website is kind of deceiving. Just a little addition. Sitting outside our rv and one of the teenage employees keeps driving by at high speeds on his golf cart. Got a face full of dust. Not real happy. Will post detail review on our YouTube page

We stayed at the end of September so I'm hoping that's why things were dirty. Initially, the park looked clean and fun. It was still fun but definitely needed to be clean. The pool was in operation because it's heated. However, dirt was settled on the bottom and a lot of dirt was caught along the edges. It was a zero entrance pool so that was nice. The showers were disgusting. I never would have used it if I had a choice. The mini golf course was in good condition. The jump pad had shoes and trash left there for 3 days so no one maintains it. Our site was down by the laser tag building and was mostly level. I would stay here again due to the amenities but not for the cleanliness.

We only stayed here one night (Saturday night), as a stop on our way home from a road trip. This campground was a great experience for our family. They had so many activities for the kids - mini golf, pool, 2 playgrounds, jumping pillow, crafts, activities planned all day too. We stayed in site 608, we had very little noise at night. The staff all appeared to be young, similar to what other reviewers stated, but we thought they were all mostly very pleasant and kind.

  • 5/5 Teresa 9 months ago on Google
Pros: LOTS of fun indoor & outdoor family activities. Zero-entry pool is great for all ages. Plenty of patio loungers & chairs to go around. Staff is friendly! Golf carts available for rent Cons: Pool is very crowded on hot days. No shade at the cabins on the hill. Some shade trees would be a great investment! Creaky cabin floors. Younger staff could use some more training on campground policies or at least some printed material to reference.

I love visiting here. I'm a local but they have a great selection of stuff to do, pool bikes, playground, golf cats, cabins of you don't Have a tent. Across the street from fireworks stand providing right time of the year. You will love it. And right off the interstate. As soon as the bridge gets done it will be a straight shot south for shopping in sioux falls 5 mins away.

Very good camping overral. Quiet at that time of the year, I went there at the beginning of May and I was almost alone. Restrooms are very clean and also included in the price so you don’t have to pay an extra. There is also a pool. Reasonable price. I recommand this camping if you’re traveling around there.

This place was our saving grace. We had plans to stay at a nearby KOA but it was too crowded to maneuver so we had to make an online reservation for Yogi's at 1120pm. Obviously, at that time there was nobody in the office to help with check in, but the map at the registration office door was sufficient. We found our spot immediately and could pull right through with no issues. Lot was very level, no issues. Largest lot/grass area out of the three different parks we stayed at over the last week. With it being late at night, we didn't see any of the fun stuff until morning. Wow! Lots of character and fun stuff for the kids! My only regret is us not planning to spend more time there. We did get to do the jumpy pillow. Bummed we missed the flag rising in the morning, we slept in after the late check in. Hope to be back sooner rather than later!

We arrived late in the afternoon to stay one night. The young lady at the desk could not find our reservation so I pulled it up on my phone. Come to find out it was for the month prior. Another lady, i assume it was the manager, came over and changed the date in the system to get us in that night. She even helped us find the nearest Walmart! Great customer service and if we are ever in the area again we will definitely stay there. Highly recommend this campground!

We love to stop at Jellystone parks & found this one while passing through. Although the water hook up’s are not available in the winter season, there is a nice bathroom/shower behind the main building. I don’t think there’s any staff there for normal business hours during this time but they take phone calls and someone lives nearby if you need propane, etc. I would love to come back when we can enjoy all of the amenities.

Went to their corn maze! Nice maze, but was expensive and poorly maintained for the price. Most marker posts were laying on side, full of garbage and broken. It might just have been due to mis behaving kids.

We did a few days of tent camping. It was really nice, and we pretty much had our pick of shady sites, of which there were many. The kids had a blast, and you could tell the campground was investing in the activities. They jumped on the big air pillow, played miniature golf, did tie dye, rode pedal cars, went to the pool, and a bunch of other things. The pool was well taken care of and had a zero entry ramp which is nice for the littles and parents who only need a little dip. One recommendation would be to maintain the pedal cars better. Some seats were very loose, and many protective fenders were gone revealing sharp metal edges which could scrape people.

The staff were super friendly. The grounds were clean and well kept. Love the pool and snack bar. Ordered multiple orders of nachos and cheese curds. The little shop has nearly everything one would need including coffee, hot cocoa/cappuccinos and slushies. So many activities to keep the kids entertained. Hoping to make this an annual stop.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. We tented and this was our first stop of a few on a camping road trip. It was great to see the pool, mini golf, and jumping pillow open. The pool was not super clean, which was a bit concerning and the noise from the electrical lines overhead was pretty loud. But overall, that is our only dislikes. The staff was great, they were kind and helpful! Even with a bike issue we had! Good for families, tenting, cabins, or RVs!

During COVID we stayed here and i was so bummed bc they did not have the bouncy thing up but they had play grounds open and they said it was because they could not regulate it bs there were workers just inside doing nothing when they could be outside regulating how many kids are on at a time and switching out kids after so much time but they will let them all I mean all play on a playground. And they did not offer discounts on golf carts which they def should of with every thing besides the germ infested playground closed
