Tried this place out tonight and we will definitely going back! We have been searching for good Indian restaurant around town and we are happy we found a spot! Take out only but worth it. We ordered the Shamim Platter, totally worth it! Good for 2-4 people. But order this in advance as it is cooked from scratch and take 1-1.5 hrs to prepare (Wait it totally worth your while). Chicken Masala (butter chicken) was good. The spice is just right. And naan!!!! Happy we ordered extra.

I recently had the pleasure of ordering takeout from Shamims Kitchen in Sayreville, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience that brought the flavors of India straight to my doorstep. I finally got to try out the food from this local restaurant and I am completely satisfied. Everything was good. The chicken kebabs have got to be my favorite. Freshly made. Everything was freshly made and had that homemade taste and feel. Highly recommend this place.

We catered the food from here for our Eid party and this was our first time. Had heard a lot about their food so thought to give it a try. The food was amazingly beyond our expectations. Their chicken biryani is the best I have had so far in the States. Their chicken seekh kebab and goat kadhai was so yummy. Their butter chicken pasta was the highlight of the party and everyone just loved it. Their quality of food is excellent, taste is very authentic and yummy and portions are pretty generous. We will definitely order their food again. Also they are easily approachable and one of their team members I talked to is very kind and helpful. He guided me with the whole process of ordering. Thank you for such an incredible experience.

Maybe one of the most delicious meals I’ve ever eaten. Stumbled in here not knowing it was takeaway only, and this wonderful gentleman put a table for me together and they served me here inside (granted I am alone.) the vegetarian samosas and dipping sauce are to die for, and the tandoori chicken with butter chicken sauce super delicious as well. They even gave me a free rice pudding. Could not speak more highly and thank you for making my day!

It seems unfair to rate this place on atmosphere. It is a residence with a professional kitchen. It was my first time trying this place after moving to the area a few months ago. I was a little thrown initially entering the place, but my food was hot and ready. Once my girlfriend and I dug into it, it was mind blowing. This is quite possibly the best South Asian food I have ever tasted. Spectacular. I will take the 20min drive over and over again. Delicious.

We order weekly from Shamins Kitchen since do not have time or like to cook ourselves. Portions are good, quality and taste both are very good as well! We always select "medium Spice" option and have no issues w/ spice level. They always include a free little desert w/ the order, which is a nice gesture. Only thing i will say is the food is a bit oily, kinda defeats the purpose of ordering "home style cooking ".

Ordered Tikka chicken paratha, kadhi pakoda, panner makhani and chicken biryani after reading so many great review . While Chicken Tikka Naan was good, the other things were average. The panner gravy was extremely creamy but lacked flavours. Il say their chicken was really fresh and tender.

We’ve been ordering takeout from Shamims for the past year and half and have yet to be disappointed- and I don’t think that will happen. They are one of the best (and only) Pakistani restaurants in this area. The biryani is exceptional, and hits every time! Some of our other favorite items are the alu paratha, keema naan, chicken tikka naan, seekh kababs. The food here is flavorful, well prepared and always piping hot. I have to say the establishment is extremely generous. Shamims always gives us complimentary dessert with every order we have placed- and they have all been amazing. We have had their Zarda, gajr halwa, seviyan, kheer and some more. All in all great service and great food. We love ordering from here and will continue to do so. If you’re looking for high quality fresh Pakistani food with bold flavors, this is it.

Excellent service. Food reminds me of back home taste and love. We ordered veg pakora, Chicken tikka naan,Chicken gola kabab curry, authentic Chicken pulao with raita. Every bite of the food was yummy and delicious.

I have been trying to have good desi food for months since I moved to Old Bridge and haven’t been around my Indian and Pakistani friends as much. Most restaurants are okay, but Shamim’s cooking was exactly what I have been craving. It’s home-cooked food. The kebab was moist, the Haleem was spot-on. Chicken tikka masala isn’t overly salty or sweet like a lot of places make it, and the meat was tender. Naan was fluffy and perfect. The halwa puri is great too. Very satisfied. Highly recommend.

Chicken kadai and lamb curry are absolutely amazing, some of the best indian food I've ever had. On top of that, every time we order they give us one extra mystery item free of charge which makes ordering from here so much better.

Shamim’s Kitchen has amazing food along with great service, you will not be disappointed at all. From their Jalepeno Kebab roll, haleem, to the delicious kheer. Bilal is a great guy and great customer service. They really know how to make the customer happy. Thanks for everything.
