This place is AMAZING! Winnemucca is in the middle of nowhere and I drove right past this restaurant because of its unassuming “look” and relatively small sign. We had read the reviews and just had to try, and are both novices for Korean food but also somewhat snobby about oriental cuisine in general. In short, we want authentic! This is simply spectacular! The Mongolian BBQ (go with spicy or wicked hot), the beef bibimbap, and the teriyaki chicken were all divine! If you ever find yourself driving through Winnemucca, you MUST stop and give this a try! I live in Juneau, and may very well find a way to come back - it’s that good!

Try out the Coconut Shrimp Curry. Delicious! Saw signs and read reviews and can’t wait to drive back through again to try out more of the menu.

Came her while on my way to Reno and I was highly impressed. I told the guy it was my first time here. He asked to our restaurant or to Korean food. When I said both he explained to me what the 2 top things they are known for and I chose one of them. Food was full of flavor, delicious and light to digest. Service and food was great!

This is a sleeper! The outside of the building is certainly not inviting or representative of the quality of the food - don't be put off by it! Here is authentic Korean food cooked to perfection! The dish I had (not sure what it was but had the sizzling hot bowl) was excellent and full of flavor. I suppose the only downside is the prices are pretty high for Winnemucca - obviously all these good google reviews are having a negative effect. Still, it's great to have this variety and quality in this location.

I love the food here, the kimchi is the only kimchi I have found that I like. Here's my problem. Theres been a new server in the last few months and now everytime i go, it's him and the service is terrible. Last time I went I tried to get extra kimchi for the road. "Yeah, I'll get that for you!" Ten minutes later he's cleaning tables, i have no kimchi, my family is done eating so I had to leave without it. Today I ordered online. SPECIFICALLY ORDERED extra kimchi. Same kid. MAYBE a half scoop of kimchi in the container I paid an extra $3 for and a solid 3 pieces of cabbage with my actual food. Tried to go and ask the kid if I could get a little more kimchi than was in the container and he said "yeah" while trying to charge me another $3.50. I said I already paid for kimchi "yeah there's kimchi in there".. I walked out before I said something else. Severely disappointed. Idk if I'll go back. If I do it will be a LONG time. Which is sad considering no one else makes kimchi or Korean food anywhere close but I go here specifically for the kimchi and the last two times I've gone has been the saddest dinner.

Super happy my wife and I found this great spot right off the freeway. Excellent food and the staff and service was good and friendly. Highly recommend the Bulgogi Mandu steam dumplings and any of the stone bibimbap bowls.

Wonderful fresh tasty Korean food. Lots of variety, if you don’t like Korean food. We had tofu ramen and tofu bibimpap. Excellent! Family run business. Female chef. Will come again if come come through town.

I'm so nostalgic for these great dishes from when I was back east. We had the JapChae and the Beef Bulgogi Hot Pot (ask for it by name- so satisfying). And this place is so cute! It deserves the reviews

I should start by saying we’ve been here a few times prior to our visit today- and it’s always been great. But today we stopped by on our drive to Reno and had the worst experience. We were there for over an hour and a half- the service was extremely slow, one worker was hiding away on his phone. The owners who we normally see were not there and they obviously did not leave the restaurant in capable hands. The food was also not as good as normal and was skimpy on the proteins and veggies. It will be hard for us to return.. :(

We searched this place out from the highway after being on the road for six hours, and boy, did we luck out. The food was delicious and authentic. The staff were friendly and greeted us warmly, and even took the time to chat about our shared Airborne roots. Prices were great for the amount of food you get and its quality. The vibe does give a sense that you're sitting down for a family dinner.

The place was not much to look at, but it was cozy-warm inside and the food was great. I love Korean so this was a pleasant surprise, and a nice change of pace for road trip dining. If you're not familiar with Korean cuisine, they're happy to explain the menu options.

Absolutely wonderful for me. Definitely amazing surprise in the middle of nowhere. Authentic cuisine. Makes me want to make my home in Winnemuca. Just so I can eat here on a regular basis. Thanks so much for staying with the old ways.
