The staff is amazing. The mead is even better. 10/10 I love the atmosphere it is beyond chill. I highly recommend it if you like mead! Great variety, tasting and drinking horns

Didn't have any idea what to expect since we had never been to a meadery before. We were in for a nice surprise! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was relaxing and the mead was excellent.

Quality products and quality folks. That’s the short review. I could spend time saying what everyone else is: that vibes are nice, the quality/flavor profiles excellent, it’ll catch you by surprise. Whether you actively enjoy mead or not often at all Moonjoy is worth the visit. (You’ll want to come back.)

We learned of Moonjoy from a friend of my daughter's, and stopped in on our way back to Virginia after picking up her car in NC. The atmosphere is very homey and welcoming, and the girl there was wonderfully friendly and helpful. As others came in, it was apparent that she knew them as regulars, and they were wonderful as well. We moved up here from Houston TX, and have found that it's hard to find mead here! We very much enjoyed sampling the wares, and it was difficult to just buy one bottle! It may be 2.5 hours from us, but I'm sure we'll be back!

Surprised my husband with a date night at the Meadery and I must say it was awesome! The mead was fantastic and the atmosphere was awesome. Staff was absolutely informative and friendly. Definitely going back!!!

Absolutely love this place I've been a few times now and they are always super informative and nice and most of there products are locally grown and taste delicious I would recommend anyone wanting to try mead to come here

Has a nice selection of meads, and they have even won awards. Family owned, and the place has a viking esthetic that will set the mood for the meads. They have rotation of options as well as main stays.

The quality of mead is second to none. I've tried all kinds of mead and Moonjoy is the best I've ever tried. Highly recommended!
