We had an amazing experience at Chinese Munch In. We are from Wisconsin and found this place because we've been on a quest to find the best egg roll... I think we found it! That being said, ALL of the dishes we ordered were incredibly delicious. I dare say the beef fried rice, sesame chicken, and the egg rolls are all the best I've ever had. The egg foo young is also the biggest we've ever seen and was also very good. The service was just as good as the food. Immediately when we walked in we were greeted by possibly the friendliest man I've ever met. He continued to treat us well for our entire visit and he wasn't even our server. Our server was quick and attentive and very friendly as well. Highly HIGHLY recommend this place. Even though we're not local to Wheeling, we will be making the hour-long drive regularly when we have a Chinese food craving.

This was a fantastic experience. We were greeted with a smile. Very friendly owners and workers. We had egg rolls and crab Rangoon. Plus chicken fried rice. As we sat down first thing I noticed was the Chinese zodiac placemats. Then We were given hot tea. A throwback for me. We haven't been able to get free hot tea with our meal since before COVID. The flavor of everything was amazing. The friendliness and good service was the icing on the cake. I really wish we lived closer than we do to this restaurant. We only come to Chicago maybe once a year and not always to the part. But we may have to just come to this part of Chicago when we come back next time.

I had the Chinese Lunch Box. 9.95 for every meal. They have different food choices from the beef broccoli to the shrimps and the chickens. I got the orange chicken lunch. Came with a shrimp and I believe was pork egg roll. And the fried rice. The orange Chicken came with some baby corn and broccoli. First time I had those in it. Not a bad combination. The sauce did taste a big weird. Like the oil tasted a bit old. I don't really know but it had a weird flavor. The fried rice was just that fried rice with like 5 peas and carrot squares on the side.

Mongolian Beef tasted like mystery meat with cornstarch sauce. The crispy white things on top were stale. I did not dine in, so I can't comment on anything else. Pass

9/3/23 dinner My first time eating here. Was in neighborhood and Google Chinese. Yea the reviews are correct. Food was FRESH, HOT & DELICIOUS. Our waitress I forgot to ask her name and the owner both expressed & showed outstanding customer service. Menu prices acceptable because of Large portions. food taken home. Loved everything and I should've took pictures of our food. Will definitely return.

The absolute best Chinese food in the suburbs! If you haven’t tried them out yet, go! Previous owners of House of Szechwan have come out of retirement to bless our community again with their amazing food. Not only is the Filipino/Chinese food top notch, but the owners themselves are some of the nicest people on this planet. If you are ever craving Chinese food, please come and support them! You will not regret it.

Don’t be deceived by all the hype in most reviews. The food is average at best. I think the positive reviews are a result of limited (good) Chinese options in the area and folks having a low bar. It’s not bad and the people do seem really nice (we did carryout), but I really don’t think the reviews are reflective of reality.

The service is absolutely great. The owner is so nice and attentive and seems to genuinely care about the customers experience. I’ve been here countless times and they are always consistent, which seems to be a rarity in restaurants now. The staff are all very kind and the food is always great. Do yourself a favor and give it a try!

I rarely leave reviews, but this deserves the five stars! We carried out for the first time tonight, and it was the best Chinese food we’ve had in the suburbs. So happy to have found this gem.

Nasty food served!!! I ordered $50 worth of food come to find a hair on the rice and the meat from the beef and broccoli was red (not fully cooked) I got sick from eating just a little bit. They are just trying to get food out quick without any quality control. It was totally disgusting I will never buy from there and neither should you.

Have been to this restaurant couple of times for take out orders now. Both times, it has been a pleasant experience all around. The food has been delicious (Fried Rice and Several Thai Noodle dishes) and the service and hospitality when picking up the food, exceptional. One of the orders was a larger Catering Order and was the perfect choice for a small gathering. The Chili Oil is awesome and compliments the food well. I asked for extra with the catering order, and the lady gave me an entire container full at no additional cost. Will certainly visit again.

So far this is the top #1 Chinese restaurant with top notch service and best business sense I ever visited all these years! First after learning we came from other state and visiting this place for the first time, they served egg rolls on house! Then when we were packing the left over the waitress kindly asked if we need more steamed rice to go. The owner was so thoughtful with dinner plates and utensils since we stay at hotel, and he ever packed couple of coke and almond cookies for us. We feel being treated like family and friends! They serve big portion of each dish with fresh ingredients: the Mongolian beef is very tender. The food style is customized Cantonese for local people (after 30-40 years of successful business here), and they did a good job! No wonder this restaurant is packed and we had to wait for 15 minutes.

We have followed the owners between 3 locations. I am glad the chiefs followed them as the food is wonderful. Love trying new things all the time. My favorite is the Governor Chicken and a close second is Mongolian Beef. Wife loves the Walnut Shrimp and kids always get the Beef Fried Rice to snack on over a few days. We take out as it is a tight fit for seating, but when we visit the service is great.

My first time there tonight and it won't be my last. The owners are very friendly and sweet. The food was delicious. I ordered Mongolian Beef and an order of egg rolls. I am an egg roll snob. I love egg rolls and a good one is very hard to come by. Theirs did NOT disappoint!

I love this place! The location sucks and the strip mall looks like Vietnam. However, because of their success, the location is starting to look a little better. This is the best Chinese restaurant inside of my 10 mile radius. Great food and the owners/staff are all friendly. I will always come back here and I will never eat any other Chinese food unless I’m downtown Chicago.
