We travel to La Quinta a few times a year for vacation. My daughter (7th grader) was right in the middle of basketball season, a bit frustrated with her game, and needed somewhere to train during vacation. We signed up for private basketball training and Coach Andy exceeded expectations. He taught her how to properly warm up, worked on her shooting technique (she scored her high of 20 pts her first game back against an undefeated team), and showed her new moves in just 4 sessions. He was tough but kind and was very patient and encouraging. He also helped her on the mental side of the game. My daughter had the opportunity to join in on a class in the evening. It was amazing to see the determination in each student and the support they gave each other. We highly recommend Level Up Hoops Academy. I have no doubt that they will take your game to the next level.

My son has grown so much as a player since he started training at Level Up Hoops Academy last year. The classes give him a good workout and the drills up his skill level. The private sessions with Andy are also super beneficial. Andy started with the basics to make sure my son had a good foundation, while fostering in him a real love for the game. My son looks forward to going to class as many days a week as possible, and I have seen an incredible improvement in his skill level over the last 7 months. I’m so grateful we found Level Up Hoops!

Andy is an awesome basketball trainer! My 15 year old daughter has learned some crucial fundamentals that have helped improve all aspects of her game. Andy has an old school style of structure and discipline that pushes the kids to work hard and get better. He offers a variety of different classes to choose from.

Both of my children have trained with Andy over the past four years and words cannot express how grateful I am for having Andy as their trainer. Andy has not only taught my kids the physical skills that are required to excel at their sport but most importantly the mental mindset that is instrumental in succeeding in their sport. He truly cares about his kids and in developing the entire athlete. I appreciate that when they are struggling he gives them pep talks and provides encouraging words right before a game. Last but not least Andy was instrumental in training and assisting my eldest child with his college recruitment process and he is now on a D1 team in a top university.

Andy is an incredible basketball coach. His attention to detail in giving personalized feedback regarding correct form and small changes a player can make in their game yields big results. My twin sons improved immensely under Andy’s coaching and it was worth every penny. You will not find a better coach in the Coachella Valley. Andy is the absolute best!

We have been going to Level Up Hoops Academy for over six months and it has been so beneficial to our son’s confidence and over all game.
