👍👍 If you're looking for a Missoula staple, Worden's has to be on the map. I forget about this place sometimes and I almost feel ashamed because they have almost everything! The deli is amazing. They have hot and cold sandwiches and there's pretty much something for everyone. Salads, soup, ice cream..... People often mention wine, selection, beer, sandwich, great, Missoula, Worden', deli, sandwiches, recommend,

If you're looking for a Missoula staple, Worden's has to be on the map. I forget about this place sometimes and I almost feel ashamed because they have almost everything! The deli is amazing. They have hot and cold sandwiches and there's pretty much something for everyone. Salads, soup, ice cream... I don't know anything about wine. They have a large selection and are knowledgeable about what they have. Very helpful when buying a bottle as a gift or to cook with. They also have a great beer selection and non-alcoholic drinks too. They carry all the hard to find candy, have indoor/outdoor seating, and I don't think I've seen any employee in a bad mood.

We purchased appetizers and kegs here for our wedding. Super easy pain free process. Apps were delicious. Incredible selection of kegs to choose from and they were willing to order in any kegs they didn’t have the day before my wedding. Highly recommend!

It's loud and has a downtown vibe. The sandwich was delicious. However, the atmosphere really overwhelmed my senses. It's the perfect place for people who like to be in the mix.

It's always refreshing when you move back home to Montana after 25. Years and there are still places like this around and thriving. The fresh made to order deli is amazing highly recommend. Along with keg services and more beer and wine to shop through than one would think. There is seating both inside and outside so yoy can enjoy your food on-site. Friendly and knowledgeable staff make directing you in the direction that suits your tastes a breeze with new flavors to sample Along the way. Would definitely recommend to family an friends. Two thumbs up!! A Missoula icon!

So glad I finally got to stop in! Awesome customer service and an incredible selection of ready to go foods as well as groceries! It seems this place really supports local and quality goods. I was a little bummed we couldn't buy any ice cream cones or waffle cups...but luckily I know how to make some, and still got the full Big Dipper ice cream experience! 😍

Good local selection of beer. A staff member kindly offered help and ended up making a 6 pack of singles for me to try. This was awesome as a Canadian visitor wanting to try a variety of beer for a reasonable price.

This is one of the most iconic businesses in Missoula. Love it every time. Aside from great food and super friendly people, this is one of the few places that I've found that sells really good black licorice!!!

Stopped in on our way from Snoqualmie, Wa to Bozeman. The club sandwich is the best we've ever had. Met the owner Matt and talked to Mark behind the register, great people. Getting another sandwich on the way home. Mark and Julie

A great place to buy beer and hot sauce!! Excellent place for both. If you're a bit of a beer connoisseur you'll love the ever changing selection and if you're lucky you'll get to converse with the in store expert on the subject. Very knowledgeable and not condescending. Nice little deli too.

They’re open all the time, they have a unique variety of everything (especially beer), and their sandwiches are NUTS. No clue what I ordered, but it’s delicious. Enough food for 2 people, so that justifies the $10 cost

People were awesome and gave some great recommendations. Cool shop with unique stuff. Kombucha on tap is a must try, probably some of the best kombucha I’ve had. Mix the flavors

they have some of the best sandwiches in town, but I definitely would not recommend buying anything else from here as the prices are all ridiculously marked up. 20 dollars for a 5 pack of instant ramen? 16 dollars for a bottle of ramen broth concentrate? a bag of lake missoula tea that's around 6 dollars everywhere else (including lake missoula's flagship store) is marked up to 9 dollars. 9 dollars!!! what a ripoff. their sandwiches are their saving grace, otherwise I'd have no reason to come here.

An employee, Mark, was extremely helpful when we we looking for local brews to try. Their "Hip Dip" sandwich was great as well. Highly recommend this place!

They GRILLED my chicken salad sandwich. For those curious, it was absolutely disgusting. Literally, the worst sandwich I've ever had. Gas stations do a better job of not serving lukewarm sandwiches. I'm not certain if I will be back. Honestly, the thought of a Wordens sandwich makes my stomach churn now. I hope y'all have a better experience...

Outstanding. If you're looking for something fresh, funky, healthy, and fun, this is the place. Freshest salads in town, and a great spot for lunch, where you can get it to go, or relax inside and enjoy the local vibe (and they have plenty of that l. Outstanding beer and wine selection, as well as chocolate, hot sauce, imported goods, etc..

Hands down one of the best tasting sandwiches in Missoula and I'm from the east coast. They are packed, big, and priced just right. One sandwich could easily be 2 meals. Highly recommend

You’ll want to eat what they are making the moment you walk in; it seriously smells amazing! The morning to-go food almost made me stand up and pontificate it was so tasty. Awesome wine and beer selection.

I was so pleasantly surprised that after nearly 20 years not much had changed. Same great deli/market. Same smiling face waiting to check me out. Friday clam chowder is the best.

My go to lunch spot in downtown Missoula. Thursday is meatloaf day and it is incredible. Friday brings a new special every week and it’s usually great. You can’t go wrong here!

Got to the check out and my debit card was declined for some reason and had to go home to get my cell phone to call the bank cause so early in the morning and not open yet, so embarrassing. I promised to come back and left my groceries at the desk but the kind man insisted I still take my coffee with me. I called the bank and fixed the issue and came back paid for my groceries and thanked Mark so much for his kindness and understanding! Local hometown service is real! Thank you Worden’s! I’ll always be a customer especially cause of your awesome spicy cup of noodle selection and amazing customer service.

Loved it so much, stopped in twice during our local visit from Indiana. Worden's came highly recommend on Google so we stopped in after a day of traveling from ORD-MSO. Ordered the firebird and was not disappointed - the sandwich was fresh and flavors were a perfect match. The bread was phenomenal! The whole experience was great - every person we interacted with in Worden's was hospitable and friendly, charming and funny! The Market side has everything you need for a quick trip - food, snacks, beer, liquor, soft drinks, candy, etc. But don't skip out on the deli!! Mmmm, mmmm.

I got a sandwich that was perfectly made with soft bread, yummy condiments and a mouth full of meat and cheese. They have single beers and lots of yummy snacks and fine chocolates to round out your lunch.

We purchased raw alcohol for our wedding from Wordens. The team there was super easy to work with, helpful, and generous. Mark in particular spent lots of time with my fiancé and I talking through suggestions for what to serve, getting to know our interests, and helping us pick out beers to try before we made our final selections. Would recommend them for large events, daily wine and beer needs, and delicious deli sandwiches!!

My rating is strictly for Worden's wine selection; I have been told that the deli is wonderful but I have not actually eaten any of their fare. The wine selection is the best in Missoula. All of the world's major viticultural regions are represented, so you are sure to find something that matches your tastes and meets your needs. Given Missoula's geographic location, it is no surprise that there is a wonderful selection of Washington, Oregon, and even British Columbian wine. I make a habit of playing what I call "the best darn deal on the wine list"; I endeavor to find the wine with the lowest price-to-performance ratio on a wine list. If you are a red Rhone varietal person, then I suggest that you zero in on the K syrah "The Hidden Northridge Vineyard". Worden's has the 2014 in stock. It is rated 99 by Jeb Dunnuck, and I don't want to quote prices here, but Worden's is selling it below the prices I have seen quoted online. If your tastes tend toward Sauvignon Blanc done in a white Bordeaux style, then rummage around the refrigerated section at Worden's to see if you can find the 2019 Peter Michael l'Apres Midi. This beautiful wine is perfect for a warm summer evening in Missoula, and Worden's price is actually less than what I pay for this wine via the Peter Michael mailing list. These are just two examples of the excellent wines to be found at Worden's. I was able to find these wines due to the friendly and knowledgeable Worden's staff. They know their products and they know their inventory. If you describe what you are seeking, they will be glad to help you find it. If you are in Missoula, and you are seeking great wines reasonable prices, and a friendly staff, look no further than Worden's.

This is a great place, and a MUST for anyone wanting to experience a true Missoula landmark! The food is excellent, the selection of beer, wine and cheeses is wonderful, and the people who work there are happy to make recommendations. I make it a point to go here every time I come to Missoula from Laurel, whether if it's for the sandwiches, the ice cream or the brew. I sincerely hope Wordens hits the 200 year mark - they deserve to.

Perfect sandwich, this sandwich was amazing! Wicked Philly is perfectly crunchy and moist, spicy and flavorful. Definitely what I will always get when I'm downtown!

If your in Missoula THIS is the spot for a BIG, yummy deli sandwich. They also have excellent selections of beer, wine and hard to find food items. It is not a grocery store but I definitely recommend checking them out!
