My
wife
and
I
have
visited
Shipwreck
Cove/Bluff
Cove
Trail
several
times
now,
and
we
absolutely
love
it.
This
hidden
gem
of
a
hiking
trail
offers
breathtaking
views
of
the
cliffs
and
ocean,
without
the
crowds
that
you
typically
find
at
other
popular
hiking
spots
in
LA.
The
trail
itself
is
not
very
difficult,
making
it
accessible
for
hikers
of
all
levels.
From
the
starting
point,
you
can
see
a
panoramic
view
of
Los
Angeles,
which
is
truly
awe-inspiring.
As
you
make
your
way
down
the
trail,
you'll
be
rewarded
with
stunning
views
of
the
ocean
and
coastline.
It's
a
great
spot
to
take
in
some
fresh
air
and
soak
up
the
natural
beauty
of
Southern
California.
One
of
the
highlights
of
this
hike
is
Shipwreck
Cove
itself
-
a
secluded
cove
with
crystal
clear
water
and
a
unique
history.
The
cove
is
a
great
spot
to
take
a
break
and
relax.
It's
important
to
note
that
right
beside
it
is
Flatrock
Beach
—
this
is
not
actually
a
beach.
It's
a
bunch
of
decent
sized
smooth
stones
that
sound
really
incredible
as
the
water
jostles
them
around
with
each
wave.
It's
truly
a
one-of-a-kind
experience.
We
highly
recommend
this
hike
to
anyone
who
is
looking
for
a
beautiful
spot
that
isn't
overrun
with
tourists.
It's
a
great
way
to
escape
the
hustle
and
bustle
of
LA
and
reconnect
with
nature.
Don't
miss
out
on
this
hidden
gem!
