Great place to take your kids to be creative and use their imagination! They have so much to do from creative learning to dress up,they even have a outside obstacle rope . The only complaint I have is that the parents or adults have to pay for admission too! $10 per person can turn out quite expensive especially a family of 5! I don’t think adults should have to pay to enter because it’s a Children’s place made for kids! If they change that more families could possibly enjoy it more. Respectfully the prices are high but your child does have a lot to do. Also I’m not sure of their cleaning policy but I would love to find out. I do know they strictly enforce mask wearing at all times. They have “mask police” = workers to make sure your mask is up at all times! If you want to see a full video of how this place looks check out Macher Gang on YouTube and watch part 1 & part 2 ! Subscribe if you enjoy the content!!

Kids love this place ! Price is reasonable , sometimes parking is full and you have to park across the street. Once inside it’s beautiful how they have several areas setup for kids , they also have a big jungle gym outside . They have the grocery store , doctor , theater, and also a water area . They have added new things but I’m sure it’s wonderful . Highly recommend.

An excellent 'hands on' learning environment for children. My daughter & I experienced it with her 5 yr old. We ALL 3 enjoyed it! It is one of THE best children's museums I have visited in several states over the years-- including Hawaii. Thank you for providing such a science, biology & math learning environment for children! This place is amazing!! We stopped here on our way from Raleigh to Charlotte for our kids and they LOVED it. It’s half price on Friday nights and not busy at all. It’s super clean and well maintained. Our kids loved everything and there are vending machines and a snack area for parents that take credit cards. Definitely will be back.

This is the most interactive place to take children! There’s something here for everyone! The staff was super friendly, and the party area was clean and well maintained for my grandson’s birthday party.

Great experience! They even have an area for babies which is awesome. The climbing structures out front are what makes me wish I was a kid so I could play on them though.

I came here with my sons (8 and 9) on Tuesday afternoon around 1pm. This was a nice activity while they were on Christmas break. They have their own parking lot but it was initially full. Just before I was went into the parking deck, a space opened up! My boys were very excited! It was $10 a person. The different areas inside include construction zone, nonies house, theater area, toddler area, post office, water works, the growing exhibit, emergency vehicles and other modes of transportation, garden areas, doctors and dentist office, etc. I can say I was truly amazed at the innovation with the water works. It definitely promotes creativity and exhibits very cool phenomenons! My kids loved that exhibit along with the outside area. We were present for about 3.5-4 hours. One of the vending machine didn’t work. It didn’t accept my cash or my card. Unfortunately, it was the drink machine. Fortunately, another machine had limited options for drinks. I would definitely return again.

I highly recommend this place! My kid LOVED it and we had a great time ourselves. Parking was free. We went during a weekday so luckily it was not so crowded. Mask were required for 3 and older. No reservation needed. Come check this place out! Plenty of bathrooms and snack station with drinks and vending machine snacks. There’s an indoor and outdoor section. 🤓🤓🤓

I am beyond happy with this place and it's staff!!! Myself and my 4 kids found ourselves in the area today and I had planned to take them to the park but they saw the amazing jungle gym outside and wanted to go to this museum. Funds are low for us right now so I was hoping they were a member of the discount program for families. Unfortunately they weren't and we turned to leave as I couldn't afford the normal rate. A man followed us outside and very kindly asked us to come back in and enjoy the museum on him today. I was honestly very shocked and not sure how to respond but my kids were thrilled! We thanked Mr. Joe and had an absolutely amazing day playing! Thank you Joe for such kindness!

The climbing outside is second to none. It feels like you get a lot for your money. There are interactive exhibits, and it's all very interesting for young kids who are like younger than 10 or 12. Many of the exhibits are vocation-based. So, it comes across a little as a jobs training program to get these kids into the work force. However, they threw in a few exhibits that are more just for fun. I'm glad they did.

We visited this place as a family for a birthday party. I had heard of this place before but being located in downtown, I always resisted to go there especially when i thought about parking. However, the parking was no issue at all when we got there. The musuem was not overly crowded with kids and it was a nice fun event. The Greensboro Children’s Museum is an exciting and colorful place that inspires creativity, fosters curiosity and engages the minds of children. It is a hands-on, interactive museum for children, their families, and teachers. The Museum is designed to inspire learning through play in a fun, energetic and safe environment for children up to 10 years of age. The 37,000 square foot facility in downtown Greensboro includes over 20 permanent hands-on exhibits in “Our Town” and a new outdoor Edible Schoolyard that are designed to stimulate children’s imaginations and provide educational play experiences. It’s where play is a smart adventure. The musuem has been very well maintained and super clean. Overall very well organized facility.

Worth coming to visit from Durham about once a year. Why only once? Because they charge parents to get in. The kids are the ones using the facilities the parents like me are walking around looking for a place to sit to watch over the kids. So you’re getting charged for parenting inside while your kids are having fun. This place is cool to change it up annually after my kids get bored with amenities in Raleigh and Durham. Outdoor jungle gym is pretty much unbearable to be in the summer. Inside is great for the tiles to play as long as it’s a novelty. Couldn’t imagine the kids being entertained as members with frequent visits.

Went with my 16 month old first thing on a Saturday morning. The price was super reasonable. I loved the specific area for 2 and under. We enjoyed also the different themed areas. We will be back!

This is a great children's museum with such variety in activities for kids both inside and out. It's a great place to take kids to get some energy out & let them use their creativity through several different avenues. We found we spent the most time in the fire truck / police car / ambulance as our daughter found it fascinating being in an actual vehicle of that size!

What a fantastic place for young children. We easily spent 6+ hours here in one day! The kids were entertained the entire time and wanted to keep playing

This is such a great place for both adults and children. Put them phone away (unless you're taking photos) and go have fun with your kiddos.

It took awhile for us to finally check this place out between Covid lockdowns, remodels, and life in general. Glad to say we've been able to check it off the list! Pricing was comparable to the NIDO & MARIANA QUBEIN in High Point minus the carousel, though it offered real life vehicles like semi trucks and an airplane to hop in and tour. This was especially exciting for the kids who don't often get to have this sort of close up interaction with airplanes other than flights that are few and far between. Not to mention the escape slide is an adorable touch for kids to play with. A toddler section offered a safe and wide range of toys and obstacles to climb on with shoe covers required. These are provided for free. I appreciate the priority to cleanliness especially because the section rules state it's only for 2 and under. Those kiddos are close and personal with the floor! Other notable areas include the water exploration station, immersive projection room, and career stations. The giant geometrical jungle gym outside is impressive as well. All in all this is a staple to the community and I would definitely recommend. For us, NIDO & MARIANA QUBEIN is closer and has more to offer in my opinion. At least as far as play areas go, the size of each, the amount of interactive spaces for broader age ranges, yet maintaining accessibility for all interests and stages of life.

My granddaughters love this place so much that I bought a membership. They love coming here and doing the activities. I love the garden, such a great ways of teaching and having kids learn where their food comes from.

We love this place. It’s big enough to keep my toddlers entertained but also small enough they can explore and I can keep eyes on them both. The under 2 area is great for early crawlers and walkers to explore safely. The membership is well worth the cost!

Lots of things for kids to play with. Well kept. Admission is $10 per person.

Very nice but pretty crowded before lunchtime. Nice displays, many older and in need of some repairs. The kids did have fun, however I NEVER saw a staff member or volunteer- nothing sanitized, cleaned or straightened up during the more than 4 hours we visited. Kind of disappointing in this germ conscious time.

Loved taking our 16 month old here today. Having the tots area was a special touch because we enjoy taking our baby to new places for enrichment, and this allowed her to play with other children her age. She had a blast! She also loved both virtual and physical water areas. Thank you for having a space for nursing moms, too!
